SheCodes put me through the ringer but I made it through! Learning advanced coding was difficult, but SheCodes made it understandable. I am learning a lot, and I am very proud of myself for pushing through! Can't wait for the next one!

I wanted to learn coding but I always thought it was complicated to learn. That’s not true at all! Matt makes it so easy to understand, and the practical exercises give you time to try and learn at your own pace. There’s a great team and an amazing community that can help you whenever you feel stuck with the coding as well, and I think that keeps you motivated 💗. This was my “summer challenge”, to learn something new. Now I’m able to code my own projects using HTML, CSS, and JS !!

I wasn't new to coding but learning it always felt so overwhelming... That's before I joined SheCodes. The classes are very thorough and Matt explains everything step-by-step. So there's no pressure, but at the same time you learn lots! Also it has a very organised process, which makes it even more helpful. I loved this workshop, and highly recommend it to anybody thats even slightly interested in learning to code!
Two years ago I wrote “I have always been curious about coding and feel grateful to SheCodes for providing a safe space for women to learn this a valuable skill set. Had a lot of fun and a great experience! The classes are really well explained, easy to keep up with and give you really good foundations for future learnings. The challenges and homework are very interesting and all the material provided by SheCodes is super useful.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics so much so that I am now looking to do the Plus workshop. Matt's explanations were not only thorough but super easy to follow & understand, there were plenty of practical exercises throughout the lessons to learn from experience and great support available via the Slack channel for when you get stuck or challenged. My name is Umang Sharma, pursuing B.Tech in Information Technology. I live in India. The world is currently confronting a global recession, but this doesn’t mean that we should stop learning. Keeping this in mind, I joined Devsnest Community under the supervision of my college, and I am exploring more in the technical field. My goal is to become a Software Development Engineer and I am working hard and smart for the same. The path to my goal must be awesome, so I use to practice more and more to achieve my aim. "Hello World" :) (ehehe) I finished my SheCodes Plus this week and I am very very proud of the results :) I started not knowing anything about coding and about this world, to build my own weather app. Say what? :o Yes, is amazing how Matt and his team guide us, to absorb so much knowledge in just a few weeks. I will continue my journey at SheCodes with the SheCodes Responsive now: I am sure it will be great and a lot of fun! To start learning about coding was a personal (and professional) challenge. During these 8 weeks I actually had fund and learned a lot doing so. I would recommend the React workshop to anyone willing to learn advanced knowledge about coding! I work as a Technical Support Engineer and now, more than ever, I feel even more ready to apply the knowledge I acquired in my day to day tasks.
I absolutely loved this course. So much great information and easy to understand! I love the structure and how easy the information and learning was to digest. I would highly recommend any beginner try it out! It's worth it!
A great course for total beginners, I was able to start coding straight away and found it was much easier than I'd imagined. A good new skill for anyone to learn and with clear and easy-to-understand instructions, coding has been demystified for me. I hope to continue learning more in the future.

I had no experience with coding at all and I didn't have any interest in learning it as I have a friend who does coding and it just looked complicated. But I saw SheCodes ad by accident and the first things that caught my eyes were the colour of the website and the word "She". I decided to attend the free class and I remember Matt saying that he built this community because of the lack of female representatives in the tech industry. This is what actually pushed me to go ahead and try the basic workshop. I am very happy with that decision because I realised that it's fun and not too complicated and now I have basic experience in coding! Thank you to Matt for the clear explanations and for the SheCodes team who are always there to help and greet us which made the whole learning journey even more amazing!

I have truely enjoyed this course even though it has been extremely challenging at some points during a few weeks. I was stuck and could not find a way out. Luckily I got support from the SheCodes team and found my way back. Since the course is challenging the satisfaction of building my own weather app and succesfully completing it is high! I would recommend this to anyone: challenge yourself and learn how to code.

I have been on and off again with learning JS. I decided to join SheCodes after reading many reviews left from other women. I enrolled in the Plus workshop and I just completed Coding Basics and I am already loving it. Had much fun learning how to create responsive websites, totally recommend i think nowadays it is very important to create responsive websites since our very first contact with a website usually starts with our phone.

The Basic course was very informative for me, I learned many things that I did not know before. And the challenges were very challenging. I got introduced to SheCodes through an ad I got, right at the perfect time. I was searching for coding courses online, but nothing really resonated with me up until then. The free course was the first thing I tried, making me interested in coding in a whim. Wanting to continue my coding journey, I enrolled in the SheCodes Basics program, and I really do not regret doing so! I've learned so much during these last three weeks on SheCodes Basics, going from somebody who couldn't understand code, to somebody who is already able to code a little website! :) 10/10 would recommend!
