It was amazing to learn something new and discover a new passion! I could never imagine that in a 3 weeks time I would be able to build my own mini website as well! The classes were so easy to understand and follow, it was also greatly designed to fit in in my busy working schedule. I am looking forward to start Shecodes React course soon and maybe take that knowledge into transition into a new career!

Definitely the most challenging SheCodes workshop. It helped me to understand how React works, how complex and powerful it is. I think it was a great introduction to React, but there is so much learning and independent practicing to do. It feels amazingly rewarding, yet already a bit sad that half year of SheCodes journey has come to an end for me. Thank you Matt and the whole team!

This was such a fun course, although the java script weeks earlier on were a huge learning curve, it's amazing to see how far you come at the end. What a wonderful class! I had great fun learning (and struggling) with the projects but being able to review the videos over and see the questions that other coders had on slack was a tremendous help. I would highly recommend the whole SheCodes series.
Yet another mile stone for me as I complete the SheCodes responsive workshop with shecodes.io. If asked when I started, if I was going to achieve these much just within a couple of weeks, I would have doubted it hands down. But matt brought in the magic wand in his teaching technics and all of a sudden βeverything is possible if you put your mind to it. lolβ To all the SheCodes team, an ocean full of thanks for making this a reality. One thing I am taking to till the end of this career part that I have chosen is that, learning is constant, and to that, I say, On to the next phase.

When I was a teenager, I loved trying to build websites - however, it was all about trial and error (when internet was still starting...). Fast forward to today, here I am, officially learning how to code. I am really happy I found the SheCodes Workshops. I am definitely going to keep on developing in my journey in coding.

Being surrounded by family and friends in software, I've always thought coding was mysterious and intimidating. A couple years ago, I started working in tech as a Project Manager and recently decided I wanted to expand my skillset. The woman-centered community and beginner first approach of SheCodes made coding feel attainable and I'm so proud of what I've learned in the past three weeks.
After completing the SheCodes Basics course I was so excited to start learning front end development. SheCodes Plus was so informative and I learned a lot. I never thought I would be coding my own weather app. If you are thinking about taking any of these courses I would say do it now! It's always good to gain new skills. I had so much fun and I can't wait to start the next workshop!
I've learnt so much more than I thought I could in a few short weeks! I've gone from having very limited knowledge of coding, to feeling confident enough to produce my own code, and troubleshoot issues. The more challenging tasks have ultimately been the most rewarding, and the Slack community has been a great way of sharing the learning experience, sometimes it's nice to know you're not the only one that has a troublesome element that won't align!

My friend took the 3-week course and mentioned it to me. We both work in tech for different companies. Coding is something I've always been interested in doing, but it intimidated me. It seemed so complex and overwhelming. Matt and the whole team do a terrific job of breaking it down, just like learning a new language. I'm so glad my friend brought this course to me. It's great that you can set your own space completing this workshop, and I would have never thought that I would lose myself in coding for hours and hours because I wanted to learn more and more. The videos are easy to follow and Matt provides great tips. I've done some other online courses about HTML and CSS in the past, but I was never able to find the right commitment. The challenges and homework at SheCodes changed that. I'm very proud of the end result!

I used to self-study Javascript and HTML/CSS, and because of my experience, I knew I needed to find a place where someone could teach me a more concrete foundation. I chose SheCodes because it felt comfortable to me knowing other women around my age wanted to develop a new skill that wasn't in their current repertoire. The BASICS package was very easy to go through - especially because I had prior knowledge, but I did learn a few other things while going through each lesson and doing each assignment. I think it was nice to hear a few tips from Matt and how actual developers might do some basic coding.
I'm extremely happy I started my coding journey with SheCodes. I've learned so much in such a short amount of time and I'm excited to continue learning
I have learned and made great progress throughout this course! I am so proud of how far I've come since starting SheCodes Basics with absolutely no knowledge of coding. I feel comfortable with concepts of coding that I was scared of before! The lessons being split up into shorter segments really helps to grasp the concepts and from feeling overwhelmed. It is also simple to follow along with Matt's lessons at my own pace and if there is an issue I can not figure out myself, the technicians are prompt to provide help on the Slack chat. I would definitely encourage others step out of their comfort zone and give SheCodes a try!

SheCodes Plus was definitely more challenging than Basic. I learned a lot and I am proud of what I have created! I am not a designer by any means but happy I was able to code a functional app. There is a lot more that goes into creating even the most basic elements than I thought. I have lots to learn.
For someone with zero coding or IT background, I enjoyed this Basic workshop more than I thought I would even with the challenges I faced. I am very keen to learn more in the advanced workshops.

I've tried several different ways to learn to code and from the beginning I knew I would love it, but I never really found one that clicked until SheCodes. Incredibly easy to follow along and go at your own pace, the program is obviously well thought out and geared towards beginners. Even my friend, a long time programmer, was impressed with the progress I made in just three weeks. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get their foot in the door of coding.

I'm so glad that I did this course! Though it's been challenging, I love that I've been able to go back and rewatch videos, get feedback from peers and also from the SheCodes staff. They get back to you quickly and really take the time to explain things when I got stuck. I had been using other resources to try to learn coding before trying SheCodes, including apps. I feel like I'm grasping concepts better and can actually apply what I'm learning. I really love that you have assignments and homework deadlines, I needed the extra motivation, I wasn't getting that from other things I had tried. I'm really excited to complete all of the other courses I signed up for with SheCodes!

An amazing introduction into the world of coding. Lessons are set out in an extremely user friendly 3 part format - 'Learn' A video tutorial explaining how something works. 'Challenge' An opportunity to demonstrate what you have just learnt. 'Solution' Explanation of how to solve the challenge. The video tutorials are informative and perfectly timed to ensure that they aren't overwhelming for newbies. Just enough information is provided to allow students to have a clear set up whilst also providing a little extra challenge here and there. Completing the final project has left me really excited and ready to take on the 'SheCodes Plus' workshop next! Huge thank you to Matt and the SheCodes teams! :)
What an amazing 8 weeks of learning this has been for me! As someone with no prior knowledge of computer programming, SheCodes made it so easy to grasp concepts and implement them myself. I have no experience in coding. I didn't even know what it was really, until a couple months ago. I was nervous to try, and even more nervous to take a boot camp. I am horrible at school. I am not good at processing information just by listening. SheCodes has been the best thing, and I am so happy I found it. Matt is an excellent teacher! I love the way he talks, and he keeps you interested. He explains things so well. And to top it off, you actually DO the coding after he shows you. I learn best by doing, and this has been the best thing for me. I am just completing the basic course and plan on taking the pro course! In just 3 weeks, I learned so much! I was an absolute beginner when I started. I had no prior knowledge whatsoever. At first, it seemed intimidating, but now I can make a basic website already! If you're new to this, I highly recommend SheCodes. Matt takes it step by step. His teaching style makes it very easy to understand. If you want to learn to code, ENROLL! It's well worth it. I've been feeling stuck for the past few months, and I had a slight interest in coding and front-end development specifically. Having two projects helped me to understand better how react works. In this course videos were great to learn as coding was explained from a real time perspective on how a developer would solve bugs. From these videos on my last project I went little beyond the tutorials to try how much I can code independently and this made me understand how much in videos searching for bugs helped. This course was a good introduction to react and looking forward to create more complex projects.
I was working in the banking industry for 4 years, and although I am grateful for all I have learned on the job, I had an increase curiosity for coding! As I learned more and more, I knew coding is what I wanted to do ! I am immensely grateful for SheCodes!

Coding is a skill I truly believe everyone should learn however when first starting out just the word "coding" intimidated me. Especially seeing as how it is a male-dominated field and how it's represented in the media as complex words and numbers on a screen. However, after pushing myself to take this course I am so glad that I did as I now have a completely new perspective on coding! This course is structured in a very clear way of explaining and letting you apply the skills you learned!
