An absolutely great workshop with so many new things to learn! It was really cool to find out what API is and even more so to use it in order to build a functioning and practical application. I found coding quite rewarding because you get to see the progress you are making especially once you managed to detect and correct a faulty code. I cannot recommend enough learning to code just so to get a glimpse of how a part of the internet works.

Gave me a great foundation to learn more and more and I just can't wait!

This is a very good course for true beginners like me, they take you through things step by step and don't get too in-depth before you are ready. You can learn at your own pace and when it is convenient for you.

I find SheCodes workshops one of the best workshops for learning how to code because after every session you should submit homework.

It's been easy to learn!

Previously I've tried learning basic coding on my own, reading different resources but I kept forgetting stuff. SheCodes helped me learn and practise in a way that I remember everything. Learning with SheCodes is a lot of fun, I recommend!

The format of the course makes it really easy to manage and play out each lesson. Yet Matt doesn't always disclose everything you need to know, prompting you to think and learn to find solutions. This course is fun, creative and has opened a world of future possibilities.

SheCodes Basics is a very concise course which will give you a great timely overview of HTML, CSS, Javascript. I definitely feel more confident than I did before and am excited to get creative with all that I've learnt!

I have always wanted to learn how to make websites responsive, so this journey has been great and I'm proud of myself that I am making this happen. The best teachers are the ones who can simplify the most difficult things so everyone can understand and give you freedom to fail, SheCodes has been that for me.

Each lesson is pack of essential infos and the videos are very clear, straight forward, and easy to follow. Each week's project is fun, I really enjoyed each project and learned a lot from SheCodes.com workshops. I am looking forward to continue taking more workshops from Shecodes, This is much more fun and practical than most of my high school classes.

Gets a little challenging sometimes but Matt's videos are very detailed and with the use of slack I was able to gain and learn more throughout this course.

SheCodes Basics has been a wonderful experience. I had virtually no coding knowledge prior to the course and was genuinely interested in learning. Now, I am not only interested in coding; I want to pursue further learning opportunities. I am fascinated!

I highly recommend SheCodes basics for anyone who is interested in "dipping their toe" into coding. While the class was challenging, I felt like each lesson always provided the information needed to complete each assignment. The part I appreciated most was learning about to troubleshoot in real scenarios. We learned in Chrome and Visual Studios Code, which helped me troubleshoot when I was on my own, completing the final project.

I learned a lot throughout this Course! I was apprehensive while starting this Workshop however the way the lessons were planned for each week made it easier to learn.

SheCodes opened the door that I was so eager to find. I've been wanting to learn to code for a long time but I felt that since I did not have a computer science degree I would not be able to learn coding for front end developement. SheCodes Basics proved to me that I am capable to pursuing a different path and I feel prepared for moving to more advanced techniques! Also I am so happy to find a community of people that helps you to understand or get out of the knot you made in your code (even after you finish your course :)) I can't stress enough that if you feel that you want to learn coding, this is the right place!

It has been great learning code, the structure of the course is great and clean and clear.

I have been looking for a coding program that was both flexible and affordable enough to fit into my life that would also really teach the practical skills and SheCodes has been perfect! This is the second workshop I followed via SheCodes. Totally enjoyed and learned a lot in a supportive (Slack) environment. Questions are answered within a day, which will keep you in the flow when coding. Looking forward to start with the third workshop.

SheCodes has been such a great help to me as I'm navigating a career change. I thought it may have been too late for me to learn something new, however they showed me that it's not! I had a small amount of experience coding previously, but this course really showed me how much I enjoy it. It is almost an artform how one can create online spaces to look and function as it is created. I am looking forward to learning more!
