I really enjoyed SheCodes Basics course. Everything is explained in short videos which makes it much easier to understand and then in challenges I could practice what I've learnt. I would definitely recommend the course to anyone who wants to learn basics of coding :)

It was an easy introductory course to learn from scratch how to interact with HTML, CSS and Javascript. Concepts are clear and you can organize your time in order to repeat the lessons as many times as needed.
It was very interesting to learn how to make it responsive!

I have tried to learn coding from the many free online courses, free sites and have bought books over the years but nothing has helped me grasp the concepts and stick with my learning the way SheCodes has. Everything just makes sense now, I felt I had full, guided support and having paid for a course I felt more committed to completing it. I work, am studying for a degree and have demanding family commitments but could fit this course in around all that as it is so flexible.
I learned so much in these 4 weeks of coding the weather app 🌤. Doing the SheCodes Basics I felt like a newborn 🐣, doing the Plus workshop I felt like I learned how to crawl, and I'm excited to continue with my coding journey as I progress to the Responsive workshop 🐥. This workshop is definitely interesting enough to keep you going if you've tried coding before but found it boring (I'm sure I'm not the only one 🙈). This workshop will definitely keep you hooked 👩🏻💻.
My SheCodes Journey over the last few months was truly inspiring. In this time I have rediscovered my passion for learning and cultivated my passion for coding. The Responsive Workshop was very helpful for understanding how responsive design works. It was especially satisfying to see the results of my work in my final project. Matt is a great instructor who takes everything in small enough steps to not make you feel overwhelmed by the new learning. I highly recommend this course for anyone who would like to learn more about how to make websites responsive.
Is wonderful how the lessons build on top of each other allowing you to continuously relearn while learning the next part. It really makes learning fun and easy!

Great way to learn for anyone who's always been interested in learning to code - even just for fun. The class format is great and I was able to do these courses over the weekend (for the most part!).
Because I work as a graphic designer and never learned to code in school I often found it difficult to understand and talk to developers. I wanted to learn how to actually bring my designs to life on the web but had no clue where to start. Matt broke it down very easily and the videos allowed me the freedom to learn at my own pace. What started off as a bit of a daunting "work chore" turned into something really fun! I definitely want to continue to code now!
At first, I thought that it would be really difficult to learn how to code. But this course it's amazing, you learn a lot of things in 3 weeks, I really loved the course and can't wait to star the SheChodes Plus course.
It's been a lot of fun so far! This has been an excellent refresher to my college courses taken 10 years ago. Great support can be found in the slack groups. Can't wait to continue learning more in the upcoming workshops.

At first I didn't believe I would learn to code anything, but step by step, lesson by lesson, and there it is: my first web-page ever. Matt is a great instructor, assistants are always there to help and the whole process was pure fun. Matt is truly the best teacher I've ever had! never in a million years would I have thought that I could learn this much about coding by only attending the 3 weeks basic workshop!!! he explains everything so throughly and smoothly, that it's basically impossible for others to not understand it! I really liked how everything was structured and that at the end of each video there was an exercise to practice what was learned. It was a lot of fun programming, I learned a lot!
Before Joining SheCodes, I always wanted to learn about coding. In the past, I tried watching YouTube videos or participating in free coding courses online but they either too advance or lack the ability to keep me focused. SheCodes Basics really got me engaged in coding. This 3-week course really made it easy to understand coding , and was so fun!!! I'm excited to move on into the 2 advanced workshops. Once I'm finished, I hope that I can find a great career in coding where I can continue expanding my knowledge.

This is a great beginner workshop for learning how to code. Each lesson has a good amount of information to be challenging but not overwhelming. I would love to learn more about coding now that I've completed this workshop, so I can create more interactive websites and systems.

I've been dreading this moment! I'm DONE with my SheCodes workshops! I don't want them to be over. I've enjoyed every lesson and have genuinely had fun learning new and challenging concepts. I'm excited to venture out into the world to apply for coding jobs and feel so much more equipped after going through these programs. As a mom, this program allowed me great flexibility and support to educate myself in a timeframe and learning environment that worked best for me and my family. I am extremely grateful to Matt and his team for starting this company and will keep checking back for additional courses as I would be thrilled to continue my education with SheCodes in any way, shape or form. I'm an absolute beginner and I've tried to learn to code through other programs online and failed everytime...until I found SheCodes! I have wanted to learn to code for a long time but always felt it would be too hard as I am not from a tech background. After attending the free coding class I decided to do it and join the beginners workshop. The way Matt explains things makes it so accessible and less scary. The support you get throughout and the quality of the classes is amazing. Couldn't recommend enough.
What a journey the last 2 months have been! I have come from coding basics to creating a fully-functional app hosted online, with a search engine that displays real-life data. It has been super fun (and a little frustrating at times), but with the support and the structured lessons, the learning has been pleasant and smooth. I look forward to learning more!

I used to study about the basics of HTML back in high school and found it really interesting back then, but now, I am amazed to be refreshed, and enlightened with the new languages and the changes in the coding world. I am eager to learn more about coding and programming now as SheCodes has great technical support and community, and the workshop has comprehensible lessons that make individual learning possible. Now I know that learning about coding is not too daunting.

After having completed SheCodes Basics, Plus and now React, I can confidently say I've learned far more than I expected from these courses. The challenges are sometimes difficult, but each lesson is explained in detail and you always have the option of asking for help in the Slack chat server. I'm excited to start looking for work in React development and can't wait to see where these new skills take me.

SheCodes Responsive was both such a great learning experience! I enjoyed pushing myself & learning how to create a design that looked great on screens of all sizes. Like any new endeavor, I faced challenges but it's in the overcoming of those challenges that I feel even stronger confidence in my front-end development abilities.
It was my first coding experience and I loved it. The course is pretty complete and dynamic. It made me learn a lot of new things in a very fast way and having fun at the same time. It made me want to take a new course to learn even more about coding.
