I really enjoyed SheCodes Basic. I have taken courses from other platforms before, and SheCodes is the best experience so far. The challenges and project allow you to apply what you've just learned. I'm excited for SheCodes Plus 😄
After finishing SheCodes Plus, SheCodes React, and now SheCodes Responsive, I can't say enough about Matt and his SheCodes team! The videos are great and the team on Slack is super responsive to questions. I feel confident in the skills I've learned through all of these courses and and excited to start my new career in web development.
I really enjoyed the SheCodes basics course. I liked the way it builds up your knowledge in small manageable steps with mini challenges so you get to practise what you are learning. The weekly projects help you to keep up the pace of the course and put together everything you have learnt. I knew nothing about coding before signing up on a whim and this has been a fun and accessible introduction!
I love that it is all baby steps! As a complete beginner and newbie to coding, this allowed me to understand and perform something (coding) that I would have never been able to do! It is so empowering to be able to learn alongside other women and have a fantastic teacher, thanks Matt!!
Definitely a step up from basics but the weather app was an interesting and fun project to build. The lessons, although sometimes challenging, were done at a good pace. I am excited to continue with SheCodes PLUS and learn more about React.
The most well-structured course ever for anyone who wants to learn coding with much flexibility in time! Super easy to understand with weekly refresher challenges to practise what we have learnt! This is the best online course/teaching style I've found! SheCodes is so good at breaking things down into small, understandable chunks. Learning in small segments and then applying that knowledge with frequent small, fun homework assignments is so helpful for learning!

This course has been a great way to try out programming and learn just enough of the basics to be able to understand how well you will enjoy it and whether to pursue the topic further. Personally, I will be using my learnings from this course to try out some exciting and creative alternatives to exercises that we do in my job as a Market Researcher. This is definitely a course that can span various fields!

I had such a fun time playing around with these classes and the features, not only while learning but outside of SheCodes experimenting on my own. The classes are not difficult to follow and the commitment is not draining at all. I felt like there should have been more difficult tasks, but often times I got to learn how to research on how to develop code by myself as well as by some of the challenges! I thoroughly enjoyed this 3-week course and I would definitely invest in future coding lessons. Thank you!

I loved learning coding on SheCodes! The classes were easy to understand, and the course is structured so that it is easy to follow while keeping up at your own pace (and it was so much fun!) I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in learning code!
I had tried to learn coding languages a few months ago using Youtube videos and CodePen alone, and I ended up giving up because it didn't give me any structure to learn. I found SheCodes through Instagram and signed up for the free webinar and after a short into to HTML and CSS, I realized it really wasn't all that complicated. This course has been great in teaching me how to problem solve and organize my code, and I discovered I actually really enjoy the critical thinking skills that coding requires. I will be going onto learn more JavaScript and possibly some other in demand coding skills in the marketing sector, as I now have another skill I enjoy to pair with my passion for marketing.

I'm a graphic design student who's always curious on how to do coding and luckily enough, I saw from a friend's Instagram story, she join SheCodes 3 months ago and I look up at their website and thought it would be interesting to learn basic of coding and here I am just finish my final project and I absolutely love every course. Matt was incredible and he really taught us step by step through the process.

I always wanted to learn but felt overwhelmed and confused when I tried to teach myself. The basics workshop provided a great foundation to learn some key skills and it was really enjoyable! :)
Great for having some structure and deadlines to hold yourself to while you learn how to code. The amount of material is also very achievable to get through when you are limited on extra time to commit to learning (approx. 5 hours / week compared to 10+ hours with other programs. I also like the nice mix of bite size videos and exercises to get hands on practice with the concepts.
I really enjoyed this beginners workshop. It has just the right amount of information for someone who does not have any foundation with coding. I learned a lot and I am excited to keep practicing and achieving more on my coding journey.

It was a truly fun experience to get some basic understanding of how coding actually works! Matt's way of explaining the rules and "grammar" is simple, and thus easy to follow for all the newbies out there. I really enjoyed the small challenges inbetween as well as the weekly homeworks. If you enjoy the "learning by doing" approach, SheCodes is definitely for you!

I am so happy I found SheCodes! I had been learning how to code on my own for a few months already. And though I did learn quite a bit, I was struggling a lot. I've learned HTML and some CSS and no JavaScript at all prior. I signed up for this workshop as a way to dip my feet into web development with the ultimate aim of switching careers into tech. The workshop structure made it easy to learn the basic introductory concepts for each of the three programming languages. The short video lessons (with supplemental documentation) taught the concepts in small manageable chunks. The lesson challenge exercises, solution thereafter, weekly assignment, and finally the project force you apply the concepts all the while keeping you accountable so you start AND finish the workshop. Great workshop on the basics. I enjoyed it. Thank you Matt and the SheCodes team!
A brilliant course that is challenging, yet super rewarding! 🙌 The lessons are delivered in bite-sized chunks with challenges along the way to put into practice everything you're learning. And the support available via Slack is super helpful too.
After working through the basic workshop, I knew I had to take coding a bit further. The Plus workshop is certainly a challenge, but I feel more confident than ever that I can tackle any task or problem presented to me. I've started accepting client projects already, and while there's still much to learn, it feels great to have made it this far! Onwards to REACT!

This workshop has exceeded my every expectation :) I always had a curiosity to learn about coding, however never really invested much on that idea because I thought that it was impossible without a computer/enginnering/math degree and I felt that I didn't have what it takes... Having completed shecodesBasics, I really enjoyed it and decided to take the next step to ShecodesPlus. This one was much more challenging and it took me much longer than expected (due to being on maternity leave and looking after a young baby full time!). The team are very understanding and supportive and I genuinely don't think there is another course out there like this one. Thanks so much to the Shecodes team for producing this course for people like me! Definitely taking it even further and going on to do React as I've learnt so much already and keen to learn more!

SheCodes Plus was indeed challenging as JavaScript can be super confusing and not at all intuitive to a complete beginner. After completing this course, I can confidently present my weather app that I coded (and actually understood the process of) through Matt's efficient and eloquent way of teaching. Anyone can code but not many can create such a well thought out module, his own platform and most importantly, teach. I'm looking forward to learning more in SheCodes React.
This section was a little more challenging than I originally thought, but once I learned everything and how it all interacts with each other then it made sense. I know feel more comfortable with coding and the logic behind why things are done the way they are makes even more sense. I am excited to keep moving forward with the program and learn even more and to see how things keep building on each other. If you are considering getting into coding this is the program to do it with!! The instructor and the group of helpers he has are just phenomenal!! They are quick to respond and are positive and encouraging but also help you to see your mistakes, and fix them.

I have always loved computers and the internet since I was little. With SheCodes I learned and understood everything about coding in the SheCodes basic workshop. Now I want to learn more and, one day I hope that one day I'm able to use what I learned here together with my degree.
I started with absolutely no coding knowledge and was able to build a simple webpage by the end. Learning format is really good with learning videos, practical tasks and solutions each step along the way.
Matt is an excellent instructor, and his lessons are easy to follow along and troubleshoot through this online platform. The SheCodes team is happy to help, easy to contact, and quick to respond. Despite being an online/virtual classroom, I thought the material, format, and homework assignments were effective: you'll build upon lessons learned while discovering that there are different paths to the same solution.
