I've started this course with zero knowlodgment about coding and I'm very happy with the things that I've learned.
A well structured course with lots of great learnings and challenges. It's definitely challenging at times but very rewarding. I would highly recommend this course.
I never thought that I would be learning how to code, or at least trying to! The workshops show that it is absolutely possible no matter of your education or experience. It is super exciting to gain such a knowledge to understand a little bit of programming and to be able to create a simple website. Topics are easily explained and the prepared challenges are motivating to look for more on your own.
This was a geat adventure. I came across shecodes many times and I decided to go for it but I do not regret it. It's very easy to learn how to code with Matt. looking forward to learn more...
Another great course from SheCodes! I had fun creating the weather app step by step with Matts instructions and clarifications. The strong part of the course is the great not too long lessons and the fact that you can go back to the material and learn from your mistakes. Thank you!
SheCodes is an incredible platform to learn to code! It keeps your attention focused and is a really fun skill to develop. I have enjoyed my lessons here, and I particularly like the fact that I could learn at my own pace.
I often say to everyone around me that SheCodes is the best thing that has ever happened in my life so far. In my case, this course is not about learning coding only and by the way, we have the best teacher ever... but it is also about fulfillment and happiness with what I am doing. The course is so well done that I could learn something from each lesson and apply immediately to my project. Matt is absolutely awesome! This was a great course to complete to dip your feet into front end development. The videos were easy to follow along with and I liked the mini challenges along the way that helped me cement my learnings. I would recommend this course to friends and family and it felt so great to build my very first landing page!!

This class was truly breathtaking. I really had a great time challenging myself. It was not all easy, however, the great team of coders and other learners are there to assist and guide you. If you are interested in coding and learning about software, I would greatly recommend SheCodes Basics. I'm just a freshman in high school and I was able to do it. That's just how "simple" it is ☺️.

It was very short and I got to learn many new things. I do recommend this for beginners.
I would never think I could learn something so techy. It's definitely just a beginning for me but the SheCodes course taught me the possibilities. At first, I wasn’t sure that an online course would be good idea to learn coding, I thought coding would be strongly hard but Matt explain all steps in the easiest way, I'm so happy that I decided to participate in this course and recommend to all who loves learning coding:)
A great course to learn the fundamentals of html, css and java script, packed with loads of useful advice and explanations of tools that come in handy when building your own webpages or analysing websites created by others. This introductory course was at the same time challenging, great fun and very rewarding. Credit to the pedagogical approach and guidance provided by Matt and his whole team!
I really had fun learning coding with SheCodes! Something that I didn't know I would love and enjoy doing. Definitely an amazing learning experience, especially for those with zero knowledge in this field.

The course was very well structured, and I felt that I could learn a lot in a short amount of time.
In a few short weeks, I've gone from knowing nothing about coding, to having my first solid footholds into the subject. I'm excited to keep learning and really appreciate all of the hard work and time that has gone into developing this program. It really helps to learn in the bite-sized chunks of material with lots of hands on practice mixed in.

Great 3 week short course, I've learn't so much, and I'm very happy with what I have achieved. Matt is great explaining and I love that I can replay the videos and do the tasks at my own pace. Also, I enjoyed the actual explaining tips on how to view and understand how its build in order to fix bugs. Now it's time to keep on practising :) Thank you!
React workshop was challenging at first but very interesting and I felt by the end of it like I'm managing well and feeling comfortable working with React :) it was nice to learn another coding frame work, and add another skill to my resume ! looking forward to my last workshop left - Responsive ! :)
I LOVED this workshop, I learned so much in a short space of time and did so to prepare myself for my masters degree. As a complete beginner I was daunted by the computers aspect of my degree but now feel super confident going into it as I learned how fun and interesting it can be!
It was fun and challenging to learn and try new things. SheCodes Lessons were short, crisp and systematic which makes it easy to manage.
React was a breath of fresh air after having gone through SheCodes Plus. Not only was it highly enjoyable, but it was incredibly interesting to see how we can use React for the better. I love the SheCodes Basics workshop! I didn't know what to expect since I had no prior experience with coding, but Matt made learning the material fun to understand!

Not only that, but I could fit it in to my lifestyle - it was easy to balance the assignments, modules, and projects while maintaining balance between my work, social, and home life. I'm so glad I found SheCodes and it's definitely going to help me kick-start my coding career.
This course has truly ignited my passion for coding. I have always wanted to learn to code but thought I needed to have some special talent for it. Matt debunked that theory in the free coding class instantly and got me excited to begin my first workshop. I definitely gained some excellent baseline knowledge of coding, though, it was a ton of information. Matt did an excellent job teaching; the instruction was clear and engaging. I cannot wait to begin my next workshop!
This workshop is harder than the Basics workshop because there is a lot more to learn. I do not recommend binging the videos for this workshop in one day because the challenges and homework are more time-consuming and more difficult to complete. I advise taking notes and for videos that do not include challenges, I recommend doing the example shown in the video alongside Matt.
I am surprised by what I have built and learned in this course. It went beyond my expectations.
Another great SheCodes workshop! Learning responsive web development has been a challenge, but I've enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you SheCodes for these great workshops and I can't wait to learn React!

This workshop was very fun and engaging. I was able to learn many new things and was very proud to be able to build and personalize a simple webpage by scratch!
This was a very exciting course to be part of and learn from. It is very easy to understand and learn from what is provided, but the most amazing part is that you don't learn like a "parrot", you have to apply code and thinking of your own. You get help from a tech team and your fellow learners which is great! I had so much fun with my final project and intend to just keep making it better and creating other fun projects.
Thanks Matt and SheCodes team for your amazing workshop. I've taken a lot of training courses and can genuinely say that SheCodes has some of the very best. Had a fantastic time learning the basics again and if you are a newbie or someone who wanted to refresh those coding skills, this course is for you. I really enjoyed it, and the sense of achievement in the workshop is really good by turning in our weekly homework and final project. Now, I am eagerly waiting and anticipating what will be the next workshop that I should take!
To say I learned a lot during the three weeks basic course, is an understatement. After the basic course, I now feel motivated to take SheCodes Plus which I know I would do well in because of how the courses are taught.

Before starting this course, I did not have any knowledge about coding -though I was always so curious about it! I have just finished SheCodes Basics and WOW! Within 3 weeks, I've learnt plenty about HTML, CSS and JavaScript and built a basic web page from scratch! Learning to code can be challenging, however, it is indeed rewarding too. Remember that, to really learn this stuff, you need to immerse yourself in it. Keep practising! I highly encourage anyone new to coding to enrol in this workshop. Do not hesitate! This workshop has been so great; I would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn about coding or web development! I've learned so much in just 3 weeks! The learn-then-apply format has been excellently executed by SheCodes, using a lesson + challenge + solution for each topic. This was super easy to follow and can be done at any pace, starting and stopping at any time. The cheat sheets are also great references for the homework, project, and future use. I like that the content of the workshop is modern and we learn to be resourceful in a modern way (using google searches to learn more, Slack channels to solve problems with our classmates, etc.). I have really enjoyed my experience with SheCodes so far. I feel like a developer whizz though I'm very from it 😅 I was already familiar with basic HTML and CSS but still feel like I learnt a lot and I'm even more confident with it now.

An engaging, exciting and fun course! The last 3 weeks have been challenging but rewarding - I have learnt plenty in a short space of time. Being surrounded by such a supportive community has made the topic of coding that much more enjoyable. I highly encourage anyone who is new to coding to enroll in this workshop. Not only is this course entailed with comprehensive content, you are also given plenty of opportunities to apply the content with the extra advantage of having this reviewed by peers and tutors.

I come from a very different background and so I don't have any experience with coding but SheCodes made it easy. The SheCodes Plus workshop was a really great introduction to utilizing an API, and to showing how powerful an API and Javascript can be when applied. I really enjoyed putting the basic weather app together and look forward to being able to add enhancements as I learn more and move through the next workshops.
During the Plus workshop I've become more confident in my own coding skills, building upon the Basic and especially working with Bootstrap as framework has been an experience! Cant wait to learn more and have fun while continuing my coding journey with SheCodes!

I really enjoyed this workshop and I have really surprised myself with how much I have learnt in such a short space of time. I literally knew NOTHING about coding and I'm super impressed with what I've been able to do for my final project. The course is broken down into really digestible chunks so it is easy to keep up. I feel like so many opportunities have been opened up to me from doing this course.

I didn't like coding at first so I was pretty hesitant to give this a try but Matt explains it so well! I ended up enjoying it way more than I thought I would. They weren't lying that even if you have a background in coding you'll still be able to learn things. Highly recommended if you're looking for new challenges!

I had an amazing time learning about integrating APIs and JavaScript through SheCodes Plus. The videos/exercises were engaging, and the final project felt very rewarding.
I have never thought I will learn coding in my life but I started work as an IT consultant in Japan and I realized the possibilities are endless for a web developer. SheCodes came just in a right time and I definitely recommend for those women who have never imagined before to own this precious knowledge. I am looking forward to learn it "all" and utilize my skillset in the future.

I was happy with how much I learnt in a matter of 3 weeks with HTML CSS and JS! I will practice using VS and prettier and always testing my code! Taking SheCodes has confirmed for me that I enjoy coding and that I am more confident and knowledgeable and ready for my career change in web development in the fall!

Such an exciting challenge - creating my own Weather App from scratch. I started this course because i was on furlough and wanted to take the opportunity to learn something new and practical. I was nervous to start coding, but SheCodes was the perfect way to do it. With Matts videos and help from João ive managed to not only finish this course, but have a lot of fun doing it!
