Learning how to code with SheCodes has been an amazing experience for me, the lessons were clear and easy to follow through.

SheCodes Basics is a super affordable and fun way to experience coding! Matt is an amazing teacher, and his enthusiasm really made me also like coding. He also taught me that the trial-and-error process of coding is fun and an important part of the learning process that I've really learned to embrace. I enjoyed every homework and the final project. When I applied my learning, I was shocked by how much I could do in such a short time. I highly recommend this to anyone who is intimidated by coding or someone who doesn't know where to start!

I found SheCodes Basics workshop to be very easy to follow along with and simple to learn. Coming from a background with no knowledge of coding, I was a bit scared that I wouldn't understand the material. Turns out I found a true passion for creating CSS HTML and Javascript during the 3 week Basics workshop! I wasn't expecting to gain so much knowledge in so little time. I took a chance after attending one of the free one hour workshops and I feel confident that I've found a new career path! Thank you to Matt and the SheCodes team for all the support, as well as the students on Slack! This workshop was a great pace for someone with a busy life

Wow.. such a rollercoaster! I started this workshop last year, but couldn't finish since I was battling my own demons.. Now, healthier and stronger, I came back. Making my own portfolio was very challenging.. Had to use all the techniques I have learned already from previous workshops but no worries! I have been interested in tech and coding for quite some time. However, I always thought you had to be a math whiz to be successful. Matthieu was very quick to debunk that myth in his free coding session. Suddenly, I didn't have any reason not to give it a try. I have enjoyed learning HTML, CSS, and JS so much! I'm really glad I made the decision to give it a try. I'll be continuing on with the SheCodes courses and will be a React Developer soon enough.

For me, the course was informative and interesting. And most importantly, I got rid of the fear of trying to learn something new, which previously seemed very difficult to me. A big plus is that there are challenges that make you think and make decisions on your own.

The workshop was challenging but extremely worth while once it clicks and you're able to write your code with little assistance. The break down of the lessons by Matt, followed by the assignments to practice and cement what you learn is great. Alongside the supportive community of SheCodes staff on slack who help you figure out all your problems. Really enjoyed it and proud of the progressed I've made from being an absolute beginner!

I’ve always tinkered around with coding through blogging and watching courses on YouTube. However, I had some free time in the summer and decided to sit down and do an actual course. I loved that this course was indeed intended for beginners. Doing the challenges not only helped me to understand the concept of what I was doing and more importantly, why I was doing it. My favorite part was learning about CSS and styling.

It's a great chance for me to get acquainted with the coding and to learn so many things. SheCodes is amazing! 🤗

I love it. Perfect course for the start. Structured materials, no extra info that can get you confused, and at the same time very encouraging to google to learn more and more

I am grateful for the opportunity to take a training course at SheCodes. The learning process divided into weekly blocks is very convenient. The lectures are thought out, detailed, and not overloaded with complex information. There are homework assignments. At the end of the course, there is a small project. All this is really done for a beginner. I would like to continue!

I am really thankful for this opportunity to learn coding. I did not expect to like it so much, but the Basics course was so much fun! I really enjoyed the process and the challenges, it was an absolutely new experience for me, and I am beyond exited to continue to learn how to code!

I had already done several online courses for coding before trying this one, but this one was well designed in terms of being user-friendly with helpful challenges for each lesson that consolidated the learning, and helped me feel more confident in my knowledge and skills. The course overall was lots of fun and feedback was very prompt!

Enjoyed this Plus course a lot! I was excited to build my own weather application and am definitely proud of the result. You learn a lot of advanced stuff during this course and it can be pretty overwhelming at times, but it definitely helps when Matt reasures you to just take your time and most importantly to have fun. And I had a lot of fun!

This course was very informative! I found the content to be both extremely challenging and rewarding. I always wanted to learn how to Code I just imagine it was going to be so difficult to learn and I didn't know where to start until I saw a free coding class that explained what is it then that's when I decided to give a go and I never looked back

SheCodes is an extraordinary opportunity to learn a skill that will have you set for life! The lessons are simple, mostly easy, but absolute fun! I have come to LOVE coding and I'm only getting started! The ability to learn on my own time, access to multitudinous resources, and community support is a RARE find! No doubt I'll be looking forward to completeing ALL workshops and becoming a master at web development!

I never thought I would love to learn how to code so much! I went to college for healthcare and slowly realized I'm burnt out and immediately knew I had to change something or do something that can be so fun and rewarding. I was looking online trying to see what kind of remote work I could do and as I was searching on YouTube I came upon an ad about SheCodes and what really drew me in was that it was all women! I did the info session with Matt and I fell so in love with the idea that this is actually a thing! Don't get me wrong, I knew it was a thing but to know theres a community of women on the same boat as me wanting to try something knew really excited me! I was nervous and at times, I did get frustrated a few times because I just felt like I wasn't getting it quick enough like everyone else. But Matt's videos are so well explained and the resources and information he gives are so reassuring and easy to follow that I'm so excited to learn more!

Completing SheCodes workshop was an extremely interesting experience. I had a blast working on the dictionary app. I will say building the weather app in React definitely helped me build confidence going into the dictionary app. It was so cool to see how breaking down each part of the dictionary into different components could make your code much easier to read and build. I can say I'm definitely a fan of React and I look forward to learning and using it more!

I always thought you had to be at an A* student intellect to code, SheCodes has proven me wrong. I cannot believe how much I have learnt in three weeks, but mostly I can't believe how much fun I had learning to code and seeing what I am capable of creating. Learning through practice is a new experience for me. The course was not easy, but step by step we explained all the details of creating a small site to determine the weather. If you follow the instructions, everything will work out. We were left with space for self-expression, so at the end of the course we received a large number of different projects. I really liked that you can watch how other participants of the course performed the tasks. Thank you for an interesting and useful experience.

Through this first workshop, I gained some solid experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and was able to build a beautiful website about ballet! 🩰 Most importantly, I learned how to be self-sufficient and use a variety of resources to accomplish coding challenges. Having access to a strong mentor and a team of support is so helpful when learning, just as it will be throughout a fulfilling career in tech. :)

I was first taught coding by my mother who had a Masters Degree in Computer Science over 30 years ago. That was when coding was young and all we could learn was DOS because none of these newer coding languages existed. This was my first time formally learning HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I can hardly believe that I was able to create real web pages so quickly. I have recently begun building No Code Apps and I am excited to enhance my projects by incorporating what I have learned through the SheCodes Basics Workshop. I could not be more excited about the opportunities that I foresee because I have begun to develop this new skillset. I am grateful.🙏🏾

I love SheCodes! I can't lie, I was a little skeptical, there are a MILLION coding bootcamps... however- I went from zero knowledge to building an interactive webpage, being able to inspect other pages proficiently, and the intimidation this field used to give me has been replaced by an eagerness to learn more!

I would recommend this course for people who wants to learn at their own pace. There is a lot of people to help in case you are confuse with assignment.

I really wanted to learn to code but with me having bad ADHD i was really worried i wouldn't be able focus on the lessons or challenges. Matt makes the lessons super interesting with cool pictures and colors also the way he explains things is just the best thing ever! It makes everything so much easier. Also the way the whole thing is set out has been amazing! and i have managed to complete 3 weeks with hardly any struggle even with the ADHD. This workshop is one of the best things i have ever done. SheCodes Plus was such a growing experience! Through Matt's instruction and challenges and the invaluable help from the team on Slack, I feel like we can now do wonderful things with Vanilla Javascript.
