Yet again, another SheCodes workshop that I loved! I feel like I learned so much in the Responsive Workshop. Can't wait to start the React workshop.
Never would I have imagined being able to complete an advanced coding course and build something tangible, but yet, here I am. With the bite-size learning fitting into my two-job schedule and ability to extend whenever there was a bit too much pressure, I was able to complete this course and take one step closer to a lifelong dream. I currently do, and will forever, recommend SheCodes and their courses.
SheCodes was very user friendly and helped me learn how to code very easily.

I personally loved this program. I wanted a chance to understand the basic tools of coding in hopes of pursuing my dream job of being a software engineer. This program did exactly that, I was blown away with how much I was able to learn in such a short amount of time. I am very grateful for how the course was directed by Matt Delac, he gave me the tools and resources to help me succeed. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone interested in learning about coding.

I really enjoyed learning through SheCodes. I love the way the classes are laid out. It was nice to have short videos, fun projects to do, and after you submit your projects, the solutions are provided. It really helped me learn a lot and I'm really excited to move on to the advanced classes!
As a project manager who works with developers on a daily basis, I signed up to this course hoping to learn some basics of coding to expand my knowledge. I was not disappointed. I was very impressed with the quality and detail of the course, but also the way it was delivered was very clear. It ensured the student wasn't just watching a YouTube video, but actually put into practice the lessons learned. The timing of the work was perfect for me, five hours per week is doable for someone with a full time job (or someone who is a new mother). It allowed me to focus on lessons, complete my assignments and absorb the learning properly.
I've been wanting to learn to code for years, but always felt intimidated about how or where to start. I'm so glad I found SheCodes and decided to give it a try! I have really enjoyed learning from Matt and the rest of the SheCodes team and would highly recommend this course to any ladies who may be interested in exploring coding for just fun, or looking to pursue professional development or a career in coding.
Best decision ever! I joined SheCodes after taking their free workshop that was advertised on Instagram. That workshop was very inspiring and I'm glad I chose to enroll. This is my third workshop with SheCodes, and I'll definitely be coming back to learn React! There's just enough information in these courses to teach you the foundational knowledge you need to become a developer without holding your hand every step of the way. This was definitely a challenging final project, but there's nothing more satisfying than learning from your mistakes!
I loved this program! I knew absolutely nothing about HTML, CSS or JavaScript and Matt made the learning process fun. The program is paced perfectly with assignments that actually use the skills you are learning. I'm excited for the next workshop!
SheCodes blew away my expectations! I had taken a class last month on coding basics, but didn't really learn much. After finding this workshop I'm glad I signed up. It taught me way more than I ever thought would be in a beginner coding class. Throughout my SheCodes journey, I have gained an abundance of knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I've learned to incorporate fontawesome and bootstrap and can successfully design responsive and SEO-friendly websites. I wholeheartedly recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to dip their toes into the world of coding.
This basics course was an excellent beginning to coding! I honestly learned so much and am still excited to learn more. The courses are short and sweet. I really enjoyed learning the process a small step at a time. I'm an illustrator (now seeking a career as a front-end developer) and this was entirely new knowledge to me, but from the way that these lessons were taught, I learned the coding basics pretty quickly. Excited for the next course!
This workshop is definitely much more challenging than SheCodes Basics but this also makes it more rewarding. You dive much deeper into JavaScript and learn about API & GitHub - integral parts of Front-End Development. With each workshop, I am getting more and more interested in Web Development, so I am looking forward to learning more in SheCodes Responsive!
The world of coding is a bit intimidating for someone like me. My full career has been based around customer service and hospitality. SheCodes, and Matt, helped me realize that even after 10 years post college, I can learn something brand new! I hope to continue to grow my coding knowledge and one day transfer these skills into my career path!

I learned a lot from the course. There was a lot of information and this time you could work on your project as you go which helped with the stress at the end. We learned things that went beyond the project and there was much more flexibility with the end result

SheCodes has made one of my greatest wishes to come true. I had always been afraid of failing to learn how to code. Through its fruitful sessions I have learned not only how to code, but also I gained confidence to see myself a real programmer in the future.

I've gone from knowing nothing about JavaScript to understanding API integrations. This is a great course for someone who wants to understand how websites function and for those who want to learn how to build their own. I'll be looking forward to taking on the Responsive course to take my learning to the next step.
I enjoy how everything is broken down in to manageable sections of information. JavaScript was challenging but I'm pretty pleased with how much I learnt in a short space of time!

Woohoo! I have achieved my final certificate with SheCodes (React)! It's bittersweet as I'm going to miss the community and the staff. But I'm so very grateful for everything that I have learned and I'm so excited to continue learning and growing! One of the best things about SheCodes is that it's not "just another boot camp or workshop". It's an actual community! The React course was really great, although probably took me more than 5 hours a week to complete. But it was fun and I learned a lot.

Thanks to SheCodes, I learned how to make a website responsive for all devices. This course make the whole process of building responsive website seem so intuitive and simple. I loved all the tutorials of this course just like the previous SheCodes courses. I feel more confident as I learned this important skill with SheCodes and I built a very nice portfolio so easily as my final project. so I put all my projects in my portfolio to showcase them all at once.

Prior to this course, I had zero experience with coding. I always thought it was something really hard to learn. I tried to learn by myself but the online class I was taking had no support, it was hard to keep myself motivated. I heard about SheCodes in an online group of women in tech, I did some research and I decided to give it a try. I am very happy that I made the decision to try one more time with SheCodes, I have all the support I need when I get stuck at some part of my code, the lessons are direct and short, very well put together! I am excited to continue on this journey.
What a journey this has been, from learning the basics to being able to create applications in React. This course was mentally challenging and equally rewarding. I will miss Matt's tutorials and forever enjoy re-visiting lessons when I'm stuck!

Matt is an excellent instructor and his team are readily available should you have any questions. I can't remember a uni assignment I enjoyed as much as our final project. If you're on the fence, just do it!
SheCodes Plus was really challenging workshop. There were days when I got really frustrated with coding, but as Matt always says you've got to take some time off and try later😤I am really happy to have started this coding journey with SheCodes team. It's been an absolute blast to take this course. Matt makes it so easy and he explains everything in a very pedagogical way. Fun fact: as an engineer I had a very short introduction to Python a few years ago, and I thought it was incredibly boring. Never ever had I thought that I (willingly) would take a coding course in the future. But here I am, and this course have been nothing like my previous experience. All of a sudden coding is extremely fun and I just want to learn more and more. I guess that's the difference between a really good teacher and a not so good one. Now I'm looking forward to taking SheCodes Pro that I will start with on Monday!

I highly recommend this course, it was easy to follow and I did not encounter any difficulties. The content is easy to learn and in little time I was able to build pages which work well in any screen size (this is the meaning of responsive). The idea of building a page showcasing all your previous projects is great and SheCodes gives you many materials and ideas so you are not alone in this. I am proud of the page I built and hope it will help to promote my work.
SheCodes was a great way to learn coding. The setup makes it really easy to balance with a full-time job and work at my own pace week to week.

After doing the Basic Workshop, I already knew I was going to like it. But it's really unbelievable to me what I've learned in 8 weeks. I wouldn't have thought that I could programme a weather app in such a short time.
After trying to learn web development on my own, this is by far the most progress I've gotten. SheCodes basic helped me understand CSS and Javascript, something I've struggled with for a long time.
