Loved what I learnt here.
This is my second experience with SheCodes, and was amazing. I was able do learn so much more, in a few months. Was a bit hard to keep a full time job and the course at the same time, but it was flexible enough, and i was able to finish.
If I’m being honest, you can definitely find similar courses online at a fraction of the cost, you can even find good courses for free. What sets shecodes apart is the added homework projects. They will motivate you to code everyday because there are real deadlines to work to. Also having a community of likeminded women to collaborate with and learn from is encouraging. To conclude this course will get you from knowing nothing to actually coding a working albeit basic website.
I feel like I learned so much in the Responsive Workshop. The responsive workshop has really taken my skills to a new level in making sure that my products fits multiple devices. Can't wait to learn React next! Thank you Matt Delac and the entire SheCodes team.
I had so much fun in this 3 week workshop. Matt is an amazing teacher, he really breaks down the process in a way that makes coding a lot easier to understand he makes it feel less intimidating. It's a great way to get your feet wet so to speak and see if coding is right for you. I am fully committed to learning this new skill set and feel very confident that If I continue with living and breathing all things coding I will reach my goal of becoming a web developer in the next 6 months. I hope to sign up for one of the more advanced workshops soon, Thanks for the great experience!

It took me a lot longer to finish this workshop. But finally did it! I have definitely learned more about JavaScript than before, and I will continue to learn it. I also enjoyed this workshop although it was challenging at times.
Before this course, I was looking to develop new hard skills for my career. I signed up for this course on a whim, never having had ANY prior experience nor exposure to coding. I truly had no idea what to expect. So I told myself "let me just try this and see where it goes". And it was one of the best decisions I've made for my self-development! Matt is an excellent teacher, and he balances just the right amount of teaching & challenging you to find your own answers. At times, I got very frustrated with learning Javascript in particular (it honestly looked like gibberish at first), but like learning any new language, it comes more naturally with time and repetition. This course was very empowering, and has opened up a whole new world for me. I had so much fun! I highly recommend to any women looking to develop new skills for their current career, or women even considering a career change. I also highly recommend if you're a creative person that enjoys problem solving. Thank you, Matt and SheCodes team!

I loved the workshop! I felt like it went by so fast, and yet I learned so much. I'm really excited to continue learning more and grow my skills.
I am a woman who wears so many hats, and the way the course is structured is perfect for me. The chapters are not overwhelming, and Matt is a very good teacher. Community support is also a big plus as if you're stuck; it doesn't take long to get help. The assignments are very practical applications of the concept discussed in each chapter. I had to extend my classes many times because of different circumstances, and the program was flexible enough to finish the course at my own pace. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to learn how to code. I am looking forward to my next workshop, SheCodes Plus! 😉
After less than a month learning how to code with Matt I see so much progress, can't wait to start with the advance workshop!
I love how much this workshop challenged me. it forced me out of my comfort zone and gave me more confidence in coding. I am coming from having no coding background and I have learned so much through this workshop.

I started off with no coding knowledge but have thoroughly enjoyed the learning experience. Although parts of the learning curve have been frustrating, with much trail and error, the lessons were helpful in getting me through and keeping me motivated to keep going!

The SheCodes workshop is exactly what I was looking for. I enjoyed doing all the homework which motivated me to keep up with the course. The lessons are clearly explained and nicely paced. I'm looking forward to learning some more!
It was a challenging workshop when your working fulltime, and have normal things going on in life,( unexpected events, people, things) happening in life, but all that being said it was fascinating, learning the languages, and what your able to do with them, pretty damn coo! I want to continue my journey with coding, but now with a more realistic view of what it going to take, and you need to carve out more time then what is said for the programs, like I timed myself every week for the 3 week course, and even though it says 5 hours, it ended up being closer to 10 hours per week, and 5 for the last week. Matt did a good job, although some of the courses I feel like he went a little to fast for beginner level learners. All in all i enjoyed this process.
SheCodes is really great i cannot believe what i have been able to learn. Javascript has always been a roadblock for me but the trainer Matt has helped me see them as pebble😀. I am grateful to the SheCodes foundation!
The best 3 weeks ever. Never knew I would have so much fun learning coding. SheCodes changed my mind about coding as i have a zero knowledge about it . I was able to get along easily with Matt's explanations . Thanks for this amazing workshop and will absolutely sign up for the next workshop!
I loved taking this course. The videos were short but informative and everything was easy to understand. The challenges made sure I understood the concepts in each lesson and I had a lot of fun with the weekly homework and especially the project. I can't believe how much I learned in such a short time. Would recommend to anyone who wants to get an introduction to coding!

I really appreciate how the lessons are broken up and how the videos are structured. They are all a reasonable length and easy to understand. Even though this course is just an intro into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I feel like I learned a lot and I am definitely interested in taking additional courses.
I had soooo much fun learning react and it was very well explained. I feel confident that I can build more and I just can't wait.
SheCodes is the BEST!! I've tried learning code on different platforms and different courses. SheCodes was fun and everyone in Slack were extremely helpful! The weekly homework reminders definitely keep you on track with finishing the workshop. So excited to learn more!

I tried a lot of self paced online training and none of them can compete with the level of SheCodes! The videos/exercices are so well made and playful. In only 3 weeks I can say that I understand how coding works whilst working a full time job! Doing SheCodes after office hour has become my escape 🌤 I recommend SheCodes to every women out there wanting to learn more about coding, this training is made for you 👩💻
Fantastic introduction and well explained in the videos. It's great to see what's already possible with very little knowledge. I really enjoyed the last three weeks and can't wait to continue learning much more! 🚀
I enjoy the challenges given after every lesson to solidify what we've just learnt.
Teacher Matt tried to teach many things but definitely not enough to do the final project. Obviously teacher knows this very well so he technically led the students to build the weather app step by step, for the last 2 weeks. He'll say "Let's do this, and this, then this..." I followed his steps and copied his code line by line and then finally it worked, of course. But to do it again all by myself? Definitely no way. It is like you learnt how to do the math, then even one-dimensional linear equation, but the final test is calculus. Teacher knows you can't do it so he writes the answer on the blackboard, and says "okay this is quite challenging but if you learn React it is much easier." Seriously? To sell senior class to a totally confused student?
I am so happy that I signed up for the workshop with SheCodes, I have an awesome learning through out the lessons and all lessons are easy to understand and interesting content. I would definitely recommend my friends to join learning with SheCodes!
SheCodes Basics has been fantastic! I have learnt so much, and have been really inspired with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The course was really engaging and fun, I loved doing the challenges and projects.
I've been learning so many different coding courses online but only SheCodes workshops keep me going and completely build up my skills. Although there're barely any interactions between the instructor and the student, all lessons are well prepared and delivered. I remember trying to memorise every elements in the very first lesson and now I can build a webpage on my own! It doesn't look so complicated but that's my work, that's how I develop throughout 3 weeks and needless to say, I'm so proud of myself 🙆♀️

This class was so fun! I was able to learn so much about coding and really build some great skills. This class exposed a new area of study that was really interesting AND fun!
I learned so much during this course. I wasn't sure I was able to grasp it all, but Matt made it really easy to understand and broke down each concept. I was able to build on the Basics course and learn more advanced HTML, CSS, and Javascript while also learning about API and Hosting. I can't believe I made a weather app from scratch that actually uses real data!
I truly believe that this course has helped me out in learning more about coding. It is a remarkable course. I have learned a lot from these past few weeks. I am very please with the results that I have been seeing. Looking forward to all of the new lessons.
I'm so happy for starting my journey in coding, an interest I discovered in the last 5 years. This workshop has helped me a lot to understand the basics of coding and to elevate my curiosity in experimenting with it in the e-learning projects I design and develop. I look forward to the next workshops and to learn a lot more with my fellow coders.
The workshop was great. I had a small amount of coding knowledge going into it, but definitely learned way more than I knew and have better clarity on what to focus on next! The videos had plenty of tips and tricks to help guide you along the way, and if I got stuck, a team member or fellow student was quick to answer and take a look at my code for where I was making a mistake! I was very appreciative of this feature as many websites do not have this! Overall, I would recommend! I now look at webpages in a completely new light!

I was scared to NOT understand all those symbols and words coding languages are consisting of, well, not anymore: 10 out of 10 times I would recommend to join SheCodes if your goal is to really learn and start coding by yourself! The workshops are easy to understand and follow, the slack crowd is the most supportive. I am shocked and proud of myself :)
This was such a great course! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a refresher, or even someone just beginning. I hadn't taken a coding class in years. It was challenging but so worth it. I still feel like I could learn even more. The way Matt teaches is great. It took me a little longer because I really wanted to understand what I was doing. But all in all, it's a great course and I feel like I already feel so much more confident. Now I am interested in learning more than just the basics. Thanks SheCodes!

Thank you for building up the confidence to create my own ideas Matt & SheCodes team! I used to feel helpless that I had so many ideas of things to build, problems to solve, without the ability to do anything about it. SheCodes taught me that I actually can do something about it if I apply myself. I feel more and more confident that I can build my own ideas, and if not, how to look things up when I'm not sure how. Thank you for making this such an interactive and fun learning experience.
The SheCodes React workshop is extremely well structured and I felt it was a great stepping stone to learning how to build scalable apps. As always, Matt gives very clear explanations of different concepts and the accompanying mini challenges and final project help to solidify what you learn through practical application. My experience with SheCodes has been super enjoyable and I can only recommend you give it a try!
I discovered SheCodes on a podcast that helps teachers transition into a new career. I never would have thought it was possible for me to learn and enjoy coding so much in just 3 weeks! I have always been interested in learning to code, however I never thought it was something I could do because I don't have a masters in computer science. Taking the SheCodes course has helped me learn and understand the basics of coding. I was scrolling through Instagram one day, and came across SheCodes 1 hour intro to coding, as soon as I finished the free intro I signed up for the basics course just to see if I would like it. Half way through the basics course, I decided I wanted to learn more, so I signed up for the plus course. It's really nice having the SheCodes slack community to help when you get stuck, or frustrated. It also helped keep me motivated. I love that there are deadlines, and homework, because it helps me set a schedule for myself. Rather than it being at your own pace, because then I'd never get around to actually doing it.
Just a few short weeks ago, the thought of having to code an entire webpage seemed incredibly daunting. Thanks to Matt and the SheCodes team, I see now that it is completely possible! The lesson videos are very comprehensible, and the challenges and homework assignments helped keep me on track throughout the course. I have learned so much in the past few weeks, and am becoming more confident in my coding abilities. I am already looking forward to beginning the next course!
Highly recommend SheCodes Workshop! Really easy to understand, with challenges in all the classes with is good for you to practice what you have learned. I am really happy with all the achievements I had in coding since I started studying at SheCodes.
I have to say that these past 3 weeks were really fun and I learnt a lot. What surprised me the most is that the course was not only really easy to understand but the exercises were really practical (and it had solution to it which made it even more awesome). I am really glad that I was given the chance to learn through SheCodes. The course really inspires me to learn more about coding. Love it!
This course was perfect that even a mom with a newborn could handle and an incredible introduction to JavaScript and API that I genuinely enjoyed! I'm currently on maternity leave and wanted to do something for myself during my time away from work while my son napped during the day. This course opened my eyes to the world of coding. As a Product Manager, I cannot recommend more than for all PMs to take SheCodes to better understand what our engineers do on a day-to-day basis for better collaboration and product development. Bravo, SheCodes team and thank you Matt Delac for creating a space for women everywhere to learn coding!
SheCodes is awesome. The Plus Workshop really helped me learn GitHub, APIs, hosting with Netlify and Bootstrap essentials.
Coding has literally changed my life. I wake up every morning excited because I get to learn something new and talk to a lot of smart people . For once, I know where I'm going and where I want to be. Thankful to SheCodes for the opportunity.
I was always interested in coding, but I never found a good place to learn it. Until I discovered SheCodes! I enjoyed my workshop and will do some more in the future. I loved the creative freedom with my final project and took pleasure in figuring out how to solve some of the problems that came up. If you're interested in coding, I would definitely recommend SheCodes!
I've loved developing this responsive website from scratch with Matt. I've learnt more about SEO than I thought I ever would, discovered how much easier Bootstrap can make my life and I'm happy with the website I've learned to create. Can't wait to learn React next!
Wow, I can't believe how quickly those 8 weeks went by! After finishing the SheCodes Basics Workshop last December I was really excited to start this new project and learn more about coding and Javascript. Not gonna lie, at times it was quite difficult to understand and I struggled to follow. But this is what I really enjoy about this course and the concept: you can do everything at your own pace - if you don't understand it you can just re-watch all the videos, you can do it step by step and you can ask for help. I am really proud of what I have learned already in this short time and I am so excited to continue this journey :)

SheCodes Responsive was a proper thorough and clear explanation on how to create a website with HTML, CSS, advanced CSS, Bootstrap, and most importantly, responsiveness! I can now take what I've learned here to improve on my past projects by making them look their best on both desktop and mobile. ❤️ Thank you SheCodes for this incredible journey in learning how to code. This is my last workshop (for now-at least until they release more courses!). From now on I have the confidence to work on my own projects and collab with others, and now that I have my portfolio website all set up, I have something to show to recruiters in the job-hunting process. I am determined to continue my coding journey as I seek my entry into a full-time front-end developer position in the (near) future! Thank you!
Learning React was a journey, not always easy but very satisfying once things started working. I loved my journey with SheCodes, now that I completed all the workshops I can say with certainty that it is a wonderful bootscamp for anyone who might be a little scared and see code as daunting. It offers not only easy to follow classes, that allow us to make our own hours and workaround difficult schedules as it offers a great and supportive community, starting by our instructor Matt, all of the awesome support team as well as all the students! Will always be happy and thankfull to have found this community that helped me start a my path to become a front-end developer 👩💻🥰
I went into SheCodes with very little prior knowledge of html, css, or javascript. I would like to become a front-end developer and this course really helped jumpstart me in the right direction. The course really helps you learn how to learn which is SO helpful when it comes to languages.
The lessons were really easy to follow and I was able to troubleshoot and learn along the way. I'm really proud of how much I'm able to achieve in this short amount of time. This course has been so helpful in motivating me to learn and also giving me actual useful skills for me to become a web developer.

I've never really considered myself to be a computer genius, so the idea of me coding seemed impossible. With the bite-size learning fitting into my two-job schedule and ability to extend whenever there was a bit too much pressure, I was able to complete this course and take one step closer to a lifelong dream. I currently do, and will forever, recommend SheCodes and their courses.

I personally loved this program. I wanted a chance to understand the basic tools of coding in hopes of pursuing my dream job of being a software engineer. This program did exactly that, I was blown away with how much I was able to learn in such a short amount of time.
