This bootcamp for intro to coding was fantastic! It was challenging, but we always had mentors in Slack to help us out. I highly recommend this program to any of the girls or women wanting to learn to code.
After taking SheCodes Basic I grew more fascinated with coding and decided to take SheCodes Plus. I learned so many helpful things that I didn't think I could learn when I first started, I can't wait to try out SheCodes Pro soon!

I've been intrigued by coding for a while and SheCodes Basics was perfect for me to finally try it out. SheCodes Basics has great information for beginners and I didn't find it overwhelming. The videos were very helpful and I appreciated the challenges to help us practice after learning something new. I really enjoyed the workshops and starting to code!
I enjoyed a lot learning with Matt, he explains everything pretty well. The Slack is great to mitigate anxiety haha. I loved the flexible hours as well, makes everything easier and everyone can learn at their own pace. I'm thankful for finding SheCodes, the experience was great, I am looking forward to start the next course😊.
Learning was really fun and engaging. I didn't expect to have this much fun with coding. I started out the basic course just to check out and found myself diving into the plus. It was very satisfying seeing my project come to life. Matt explains this stuff very simply and it's fun and inspiring.

It was a nice course! Very structured and it is very motivating as you have to submit the homework by the next week. It is explained really well. They have this really active community in Slack where you can ask questions if you need to. The certificate that proves that you completed the course is also an advantage. But I think the price is a bit high as there are other alternatives out there where you can learn this and more.
This workshop was so exciting! It was so fun to learn the basics of coding and I plan on expanding my knowledge more ❤

After finishing SheCodes Basic in December, I really enjoyed diving into an app environment and making it work. Because Basic was very easy for me, I underestimated the intensity of this course, but the team is super helpful and patient with every question you might have. I learnt a lot about JavaScript and although I normally work with Python, it was great to learn more JS. Before SheCodes I really struggled in connecting the dots in terms of front-end, back-end and full-stack but after every lecture you get this "aha moment". Even though I'm more a back-end person, it was super helpful for me build a first app from scratch. I'm looking forward to the next courses. ☀️🥰🌻
Seeing my progress over the past few months has been so rewarding. This course really taught me about making a multiple page website that looks good on a laptop, tablet, and phone! Along with learning more about bootstrap. Matt and the team here are very helpful whenever you encounter any roadblocks. I have enjoyed my journey so far! Now onto the next course to learn about react. 🤗

I have really enjoyed this workshop. With the skills I have learned, the sky is the limit! Matt taught me things like elements and attributes, but the most important thing he taught me was how to solve problems that appear in your code by using universal resources. That skill is everlasting.
SheCodes was everything I was hoping for and more! I've always been intimidated by the idea of coding, and thought it would be too complicated for me. This course so great, I wish I knew about it before. Either way I am grateful to know about it now. Mat did an excellent job breaking down the lesson and applying to the next project. If you save properly you can always go back and relearn earlier that week or 2 weeks ago. I love how we applied everything we learn at the end of the course to create something beautiful, something on our own.

As I am currently in between jobs and trying to figure out what my next steps will be, I started this workshop to learn a new skill set. Honestly, I am surprised how easy this was. SheCodes Plus was definitely more challenging than the Basics course, but it gave me a deeper understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript along with a taste of a few other technologies. I learned so much in the responsive coding workshop. I was able to create a multipage website. I used bootstrap, and font awesome to decorate my page.

Prior to SheCodes I had zero working knowledge of code. This workshop made learning the fundamentals of code interesting and fun. As someone that works full time, the structure of this workshop made learning code very digestible. I look forward to expanding my knowledge of code with SheCodes.
I have always wanted to learn to code; at least basics. Before applying to SheCodes, I have tried couple other platforms but I used to get boring and gave up right after the first lesson.I was thinking that I will never be able to learn it. However, SheCodes workshops changed my whole perception. I loved it. Mat is a great teacher and he explains everything so clearly. The lessons are not overwhelming like others. The tasks are interesting and fun. The team is very supportive. I have enjoyed every single minute of passed three weeks. When I look at my codes, I feel so proud of how much I managed to learn. SheCodes helped me learn about the basics of coding. I took the 3-weeks course and they teach you everything step by step making it more comprehensible for everyone especially to people who don't have much clue on how to code. I would definitely recommend this to everyone who wants to learn and develop this skill.
5/5 - I would highly recommend! The course itself was designed in a way to incorporate instructional content with challenges that make sure you are grasping concepts as you learn. I feel that the challenges and assignments were well thought out and really encapsulated all aspects of what we were taught. Coming from a minimal tech background, I felt this course was easy to follow and the support from SheCodes staff was great. SheCodes has created a community that makes you feel like you're not in this alone.

One morning I was scrolling through Instagram and randomly came across a free 60-minutes coding course from SheCodes. I usually don't bother about these things, but I just decided to go through it. The JavaScript was definitely challenging, but help was always available on Slack (shoutout to Bruno and João) ☺️. I'm proud of my final project with real data! I have a much better understanding of HTML, CSS and Bootstrap. Looking forward to learning more about JS in the responsive and react workshops.
This was a challenging course but in the end I feel I am a better coder! It was fun learning the different javascript functions and watching the app come to life because of it.
This workshop teaches complex techniques using react. At times it was difficult, however, using react turned out to be more fun and better for me than using pure JS. React also built more good habits since it's stricter as well. So even though learning it was a little frustrating at first, it soon become rewarding and worthwhile.

SheCodes introduced a world of the CSS, HTML and JavaScript to me, and the main thing - how all of them are connected and synchronized. With tiny steps we learned all those scary-complicated processes and functions, by the end you feell yourself empowered and inspired. Honestly - it was not that easy for me to integrate all the tasks into my full-time job + other course daily routine, but with the help of extentions the journey finished successfully.
SheCodes Basics is an excellent course! Matt's course design is brilliant. He provides information bit by bit with relevant and engaging challenges throughout, so learners can apply the new concepts. I really enjoyed this course and am looking forward to SheCodes+!

Really enjoyed the course - it was well-paced and full of content! I have definitely learnt more than I would have trying to teach myself. The videos and exercises are great and having support via Slack is vey helpful.
This was a blast to start learning. All in all, unlike when I tried doing coding when it was offered to me as a class in university, all I got was no help and I got more confused as the classes got more difficult. I thought it would be the same case, but signing up to SheCodes was easier than that with all the proper simplified explanation rather than the over-complicated ones that I am glad that I started on this!

I have always wondered how to make websites that would scale correctly depending on the device they were viewed on. Despite looking fairly complex at the beginning, we've learnt that there are tools out there that are designed to help code responsive website without massive overhead and a fairly detailed documentation. A brief overview of SEO requirements was also good but fairly limited and will require a little more research but this wasn't the purpose of the workshop after all! I would recommend taking this workshop as it has given me the confidence to code an entire website that is functional on all platforms!
SheCodes Plus have helped me understand coding much deeper. Definitely feel myself learning and am excited to be another step closer to becoming a web developer!
