It was very convenient for me, I'm a teacher with a very tight schedule and even so i was able to take the time and learn how to build a simple website!
SheCodes Basics has been a great introduction to coding. I really enjoyed the format and the challenges to be able to test my understanding. It has made me really excited to learn more!

I signed up for SheCodes Basics and I was immediately hooked! I'd always thought coding was so difficult and I'd need to be really good at math (I suck at math), but the workshop busted those myths. I appreciated that each lesson was bite-sized - it kept me wanting to learn more, without being overwhelmed. SheCodes is definitely a resource that I could see myself coming back to over and over again. If anyone is remotely interested in learning how to code, I highly recommend signing up to SheCodes workshops today!

After taking the SheCodes Free Coding Class, I knew right away that this is the place to begin my coding journey. After finishing the SheCodes Basics, I feel that I have learned enough to get comfortable with the subject and start challenging my skills.

This course was exciting! The best thing is that in the end, you'll be able to build your own weather app. Also, I've learned a lot of great and new things. I liked that all videos were easy to understand and had exciting homework assignments. I especially enjoyed working with API. So I highly recommend joining this course!
It was great to learn some more techniques in order to improve my code and make it simpler. It is really amazing how smart code can be when building sophisticated interfaces - like the ones I have been learning during this add-on course.

The SheCodes Plus was really challenging but I find this method really good with all the litlle challenges after each lesson. It worked really well for me, I think it's the way to go. I certainly learned a lot, but I also feel there's a lot to learn ahead.
This course has been fantastic! I initially started to learn how to code through another company and was extremely put off, I was ready to quit learning and put my aspirations of learning how to code to the side until I found SheCodes. The style of learning will suit anyone - even those who haven't studied for a while or feel they are more 'creative' than academic. I really feel that I can have a place in the world of coding now and it's not just for the I.T crowd! This course has been challenging, but it's been a lot of fun and the resources and the support from SheCodes have been brilliant π€© Whenever I've had a question I could either find the answer in the SheCodes Slack channels, or ask them in Slack myself and I'd get an answer very quickly. With the tools we're given, I was also able to experiment a little with my code. I'm a graphic designer, and I wanted to design my own weather icons for the weather app we needed to create. The people at SheCodes had no problem with that, and I managed to include them and I'm so chuffed with the results! If anyone out there is keen to take this course but you can't quite decide; you'll learn so many tools and techniques and you'll be amazed by what you're able to create at the end! I was nervous too, but now I'm so glad I did it!! Plus, you have a lifetime access to the lessons so what you learn will never go out-of-date, as they update their lessons to reflect any new techniques, updated software, etc.
It was definitely a great learning experience!
This project made me super confident to go through the JavaScript functions and looking for some other ideas to make and use the things which I learned within this course. It was super fun and I did never get bored among learning. Thank you Matt for your different teaching method, it is fabulous.

I've been introduced to HTML and CSS before I started the workshop but I really enjoyed the lessons! They're short but they have everything you need to know about the basics of building a website. For the Javascript part, I also enjoyed it a lot! A lil bit complex at the beginning, but thanks to Matt for explaining everything so well. So excited to continue learning :))

The classes were clear to follow and wonderfully structured for beginners. I've really enjoyed learning the basics of coding and feels great to be able to create a simple project at the end of it. The courses were well-explained, and I was able to handle the work load with a very busy schedule. Looking forward to the more advanced courses soon!
With more practice through these lessons, challenges, and projects, I am feeling much more confident and comfortable coding. When I first started with SheCodes, everything was completely foreign to me, I was learning a new language. At this point, although still a challenge, it feels more familiar as I learn and absorb all these new skills. I am excited to move on SheCodes Reactive.
Coming from a nontechnical background, Shecodes has been a great starting point for me. They have made learning code less intimating and easy to understand. They have also assisted with growing my portfolio with the projects and assignments we completed through out the workshop.
I heard about SheCodes from a friend and was debating on whether or not to give it a try. I'm glad that I did because I learned valuable, new information and I found Matt's way of teaching easy to understand! I would recommend this program to anyone who is afraid of taking that first step!
This part of the learning process (responsive) made me really excited about what could be a future career. I look forward to learn more and more so I can say this is what I do for work! I just love the creativity, I also look forward to go deeper into what is possible with JS!

Once again learned a ton in this new add on. Learned new JS library which saved me so much time when working with dates and times π a dozen line of code replaced with a simple function. I have always been fascinated about coding , But either never had the time, thought it was impossible to learn at a short period or that it was time consuming. However to my greatest surprise when I heard about sheCodes from a tictoker, I enrolled immediately with the little money I had not knowing there was "sheCodes foundation" which I applied and my application was approved currently on the waiting list. I have gone ahead to finish the sheCodes basics and I am happy to have finished my project. though it wasn't an easy task juggling work and been a single mum but thank-God I did not give up. I will always recommend sheCodes to everywoman I know. Thankyou matt for making coding easy.π€

I have really enjoyed the Basic path and can only recommend it. Prior to joining the bootcamp, I already had a little HTML/CSS knowledge but had never had the opportunity to really use it toward something concrete. I enjoyed learning about Javascript and I honestly can't wait to jump to SheCodes + and learn more about it. SheCodes has figured out the right mix of 1. guided lessons and 2. freedom to explore and work on your skills on your own. The final project was super cool!

Amazing workshop. I learned a lot in little time. Lessons all clear and can go over them as needed and can follow along and replicating to best understand what is being done. Very hands on.
I started SheCodes just to see if this was something I could see myself doing. I've been in a little of a rut in my career and wasn't sure what direction I wanted to go but already have a degree in graphic design. I decided that I have done some coding briefly and wanted to give it a shot again. SheCodes made it so fun and easy to pick it back up. And even with working full time I was still excited to try and find time to do all the work outside of my day job! I can't wait to keep learning with SheCodes and am excited to start the Plus curriculum!
I loved learning how to upgrade my website and make it more like what I see today. Learning the basics was great, but this section took my website to the next level. I am able to send this to friends and family to test out, and now it'll forever be part of the world wide web. :)

I've never seen such training in my life. Not only am I enthusiastic about learning how to code, but I am also terrible at learning and memorizing them. It was unbelievable that I could stand watching the videos up to the end and follow the lessons without feeling tired. The time of each video is standard, and the way of training is lovely! I can only thank this group and their support for giving this chance to many of us using the lessons. Extra thanks to the team, who were always ready to help whenever I got stuck in coding.
I've learned so much from the shecodes basics. I love how I can work on my own pace following very easy to meet timelines. Having a 4 month old baby at home, I was worried but it is very possible. I am looking forward to continue learning with this program.

This workshop teaches people in a very immersive way. The teaching style is very easy to follow and the homework gives you enough challenge while also following along with the last lesson you learned. It's an amazing workshop that I plan on returning to for SheCodes Plus in the future!

SheCodes has taught me coding in a fun and straightforward way. Each module breaks down the fundamentals of coding concisely with good tutorials I learnt alot from this course and will keep referring back to lessons as i take myself on this coding journey , the slack channel provides a nice community of learners and has helped me get out of tough coding blocks I enjoyed the course and would recommend to those wanting to learn coding and retain the information taught

At the beginning i was not able to write JAVASCRIPT but this time SheCodes has help me to increase my skills in programming this time i can work on project by using HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT i can work on front-end with skills i get from SheCodes learnings.

I really enjoyed React and building this new app, but it would be greater if we had more time to work and learn because it was very dense, especially for an add-on. I do recommend it!
I would recommend because I have not learned more in any class than I have in 3 weeks in this workshop. I loved that I got to learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in such short time. Matt made it very easy to understand. If any help was needed, slack was always there. However, I do feel that Matts explanation of the challenges and homeworks were more than enough to help you get an idea of how coding works.
