I really found the SheCodes basic to be a really great introductory course to coding. It was a good combination of fun and interesting. It was quite challenging but not in a way that was too difficult because there is lots of support on offer. I really learnt a lot from the course and it has inspired me to continue on doing coding. I plan to sign up to one of the more advanced courses in the future.
The SheCodes Basics workshop was a great introduction to coding for someone who did not have any prior experience. It was really enjoyable and easy to follow! I can't wait to start the next workshop to learn more😊
What a great course, I enjoyed it so much. I had never coded before, but Matt's lessons are clear and his examples are easy to understand. I feel like I've made progress! It's great to be able to go back and watch the video tutorials over and over, and I loved being able to complete the lessons and homework in my own time. I would highly recommend the course and I'm looking forward to learning more in SheCodes Plus.
A lot of fun and great way to learn challenging skills
This was really fun! It was great to learn how to make a website responsive with CSS. This course helped me to become more confident with my HTML and CSS skills and taught me new coding concepts. I really enjoyed the final project and I am excited to add it to my portfolio!

It's amazing how much you can learn in such a short amount of time! The layout of the lessons were perfect for me as I struggle to pay attention for long periods of time when learning, so the short chunks were easily digestible and it didn't feel too overwhelming. Just because it has 'basic' in the name doesn't mean it's easy! There were definitely a couple of moments where my brain was frazzled but I found it so enjoyable overall.
I started SheCode Plus with some apprehension because I knew it covered advanced content, but I loved every part of the journey. The classes are short, not tiring, and what I liked the most is that sometimes the code doesn't work for some reason, and they don't hide it during the classes. Instead, they show those moments and teach us how to identify and solve the errors. I definitely recommend the course because today I can say that I know much more about programming and I learned in a short amount of time.
I wanted to learn how to code just to give me more skillset as a UX designer. I've tried learning on my own and that didn't work, due to just all the information out there without guidance on where to start. I came across SheCodes and I am so glad that I did because it truly is amazing with teaching the basics of coding. Not only is it enjoyable, but it is in a way that is really easy to understand and it has sparked my interest to continue to practice my new skillset!

SheCodes Plus workshop was fantastic! Not only did I learn a lot, but now I also have my own weather app that suits my own needs and that I can tweak as needed :) It wasn't easy, but the final result and the sense of accomplishment were worth it!

I developed the confidence to learn something new and follow through when things got challenging. I am excited to see what other skills I can develop with the other SheCodes workshops.

I heard about SheCodes from a user on ticktock and I became interested due to the possible career opportunities that come with coding. Learning to code has been a blast and I’d like to learn more..
I decided to take on this course and it's been great. I used to do programming at my old job, however since I stopped being a software engineer. I noticed I started to slowly forget what I learnt. I took on this course to jog my memory and it helped a lot! I didn't notice how much I missed coding until I did this course. The teaching was fantastic from Matt, the videos along with the tasks to do were so fun. The SheCodes team was amazing and they made sure to answer any questions we had.

The bootcamp helped me in understanding the core concepts of React; such as components, JSX syntax, and the how to create functional components. I was a little bit worried I wouldn't be able to follow (what's before absolute beginner?), but 3 weeks later I am so glad I went for it! I was immediately hooked by the workshop and looked forward to login in at the end of the day. Matt's lessons are remarkably clear and engaging, and I loved being able to immediately apply my newly acquired knowledge in the exercises. SheCodes allowed me to surprise myself and make myself proud, I had way more fun than I ever thought I would while learning how to code. It's not that complicated, after all!

Completing the SheCodes Basic program feels like a dream. I never used to be conversant with technology. Now, I can say I can work with three programming languages confidently. The SheCodes team has worked excellently well to make learning here so easy. With an easy-to-navigate website and a team to support and answer your questions when you need guidance, learning doesn't feel at all problematic.
