Learning React has always been intimidating for me, but thanks to SheCodes, I overcame my fears and gained a solid understanding of this powerful technology. The instructor at SheCodes did an exceptional job of simplifying complex concepts and guiding us through the learning process step by step, making the journey enjoyable and rewarding. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone looking to learn coding skills. The course provided such a valuable and enriching learning experience!

It was a very challenging course with so much to learn. However, because I have the best instructor and the best SheCodes team🙂, I made it through.

If you are really serious about learning to be a front-end developer, you also need to study more about coding by yourself. Take advantage of the internet, there are so many free resources. Consistency is the key. If you want to be successful, no one can stop you.

The journey of another successful coding milestone, though tough, has been worth the efforts. Learning React Development is really so challenging but grateful to God and thanks to Matt Delac and the Shecodes team. You are really amazing.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics course! My only previous experience I had with coding was when I designed blogs 10 years ago, which required some understanding of HTML and CSS. JavaScript was completely new to me, but Matt's way of teaching made it easier to understand. SheCodes basics definitely made me want to continue learning about coding and I stay hopeful in a future career change into tech / design!

I had no idea how SheCodes would change my life. Before it, I was filled with doubts and insecurities, especially when it came to learning something new, like coding. I believed I didn't have the necessary skills to face this challenge and that certain areas were beyond my reach. However, since I started taking classes at SheCodes, my perspective has completely changed. SheCodes helped me build my self-confidence, not only as a programming student but also in other aspects of my life. Gradually, I began to realize that the only limitations I had were the ones I imposed on myself. By overcoming the obstacles of learning programming, I discovered that I could overcome many other barriers that once seemed insurmountable. SheCodes also showed me something of utmost importance: the power to transform the current landscape where the programming field is often dominated by men. It breaks gender stereotypes and biases, proving that women possess as much talent and capability as any man in this field. Through the inspiring examples of other women, SheCodes made me believe that we can make a difference and create a more diverse and inclusive environment. I loved it! I think I learned a lot using this workshop. Something that I will probably change or add will be more challenges with different topics. Maybe two or more per lesson will give us more practice to learn from our mistakes.

When I first started I had no clue what HTLM,CSS and Javascript is and Matt took me step by step. I felt like a baby learning to walk but has a very good teacher. I kept going back to videos when I needed to refer and asking help from Slack and it made it an easy journey for me. I highly recommend SheCodes. May they keep up the good work.

I started my coding journey on 8 August 2022. It has been almost one year of learning and growing, and it's been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. The course website was very intuitive to use and I feel like a learnt so much in a short space of time!

Shecodes really helped me, I had no background in Tech but now I can tell a different story. I really enjoyed this course which is a continuation of learning how to use functions when creating a web-site using react. The instructions are clear and but also challenging so that you can learn as much as possible whilst working through them.

I joined SheCodes so I can learn more about coding! As soon as I started SheCodes Basics, I was hooked. The lessons were easy to follow, and the exercises and projects were a great compliment. This was a great introduction into html, css and javascript, and I cannot wait to learn more!

This program made learning the basics of coding very accessible and doable. The tutorials, explanations, challenges, and weekly homework are great ways to begin coding if you don't have any experience. Perfect for novices. I do recommend it especially if you have any inkling of interest.

SheCodes is a great option to learn coding! I found it easy to understand, despite having zero coding knowledge previously.

This course is definitely less information-dense than SheCodes Plus and, since you don't use JS to make a website responsive, much easier to understand! I also think the way Matt explains how to use Bootstrap in this course is much clearer than in SCP and you learn fundamental skills to make your website look great on all devices :) I personally still struggle a bit when Matt becomes messy and confusing but he's also really funny and engaging - never boring!

I am just amazed how far I have gone through with this online coding workshop thru SheCodes.io. I have learned a lot and be able to build my portfolio with the help of my teacher, Matt Delac. The Responsive Add On was a great way to learn more about building something completely from scratch! I feel like I have a way better understanding of Bootstrap because I've built something from scratch like this.

Over the past decade or so, I have served as the head of various departments of technical engineers and developers. During this time, my daily routine has transitioned from hands-on engineering towards managing, strategising, and coordinating projects. Though I've made a few attempts at coding, the knowledge I've acquired has largely been left to gather dust in the back of my mind. Nonetheless, I've always harboured a desire to play a more hands-on role. With this in mind I decided to to reignite my passion and embarked on my SheCodes journey, starting with the Basics course. It's been nothing short of a revelation. This course has helped me reconnect with my natural coding ability, offering an enjoyable and exciting way back into the world of coding. The material was engaging and the videos are knowledgeable and approachable. The fact that I could study at my own pace, fitting the course around my schedule, was an added bonus. It was a joy to return to the nuts and bolts of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript after such a long hiatus. What I particularly appreciated was the process of re-engaging with problem-solving, the kind of critical thinking required to build something from the ground up. The course reminded me of how much I enjoy the creativity involved in coding, the challenge of making something functional and aesthetically pleasing. It's been a pleasure to have that part of my brain engaged again, and to feel my passion for coding rekindled. Looking ahead, I am particularly excited about starting the SheCodes Max course. I feel it is the perfect next step to dive deeper into coding and explore its many facets that blend creativity and engineering. So, to anyone considering a coding course, I would say go for it. Honestly, taking the Shecodes basic workshop classes ,has been quite journey for me so far for a very long time i always wanted to learn coding but always felt that is was to hard for me and a bit intimidating , so i always put the idea to the side but now i see i have been missing out this whole time, i admit the courses were a bit challenging because of the timing i had between my work schedule and etc but it was so much worth it I feel more confident to take it to the next level and continue on my journey in coding, thanks to Shecodes and Matt i know it is possible now.

This has been my favorite workshop so far. I learned a lot of small tricks to help my coding and am very proud of the final project. It was nice taking a look at older projects from earlier workshops and seeing how much I have learned while also having the projects to show that I am capable of making these sites on my own. I am looking forward to starting the add-on workshop next!

It took me a while to start the course as I thought it would be too had for me, but honestly it was so easy to follow and you had a step by step guide and help along the way. I really feel like I have learned a lot from this course and proud of myself that I have finished this course. Matt really explained everything so well.
