It was very far away to me to think that I would make this module , I can`t wait to move to the next one and be able to learn even more with SheCodes, It made me feel that we are able to achieve any goals that we want when we put enforce, prioritize and be focused. . From this course, I learned the basics of React and hope to use them in the future. I learned how to create components and highly appreciated the convenience of using them. Hi I am one of the participants of SheCodes I applied and was answered a week later really I have now finished one workshop of sheCodes basics really I have learnt a lot from them now I am able to design a webpage in the way I want. Really it's amazing I like it, before I knew only little about html I didn't know about CSS and java script and now I can try and do more. It is quite a fun workshop right after the Plus workshop! It is great review of what I've learned so far to a much simpler project that can be familiarized with everyday use and curiosity. π

As a mom of two I found SheCodes Plus very challenging at times, and often frustrating just like Matt described, but in the end creating a weather app that works with real life data was an amazing feeling of achievement. I would highly recommend this workshop as the lessons are clear and concise, and you become a part of a community that's always ready to help. What I love the most? You get to learn at your pace, and if you need an extension or more time to grasp a lesson that is possible, its not like being in a classroom where you get left behind. The pace of this course was perfect for my needs and I learnt so much with Matt! The introduction to JavaScript was by far my favorite part because it was a bit challenging at moments, but that only encourages me to keep learning so I can gain even more experience and improve my coding skills!
SheCodes Basic is a great introduction into coding! You learn a lot of valuable information in a short amount of time and feel as if you have started to unlock the secrets behind coding.

Just completed the add-on project which was a great lesson in getting more creative! I'm sure all the material can come off as overwhelming, but it is truly a process of memorization through repetition and you will feel great when the pieces all start to click together. Before taking this course I had heard many negative things about React. However, as soon as I started coding and completing challenges, I realized that React is much better than vanilla JS because there were no long codes anymore (which was annoying to me) and I was able to categorize different parts of my code (It's more concise and maintainable). The SheCodes React workshop was well-structured (as in previous workshops); with comprehensible and easy-to-follow learning videos, multiple challenges, and a practical final project (updating the weather app). I would like to thank the instructor, Matt, for his excellent teaching and guidance. I learned so much from this course and I am grateful for the opportunity to participate.
I really enjoyed looking at more advanced techniques which Matt made easy to understand. The ability to go back and rewatch all the course content also makes it easier to embed everything you have learnt :)
Another great SheCodes workshop. Let's be honest, using React is not a walk in the park but Matt explains it in an understandable manner. I have really enjoyed learning sheCodes basic. Matt is a good teacher and it is helpful to be able to pause the video/replay etc so I have time to write down notes.
I am very proud of myself that I took this course of Coding without experience. Today I can build a responsive Website and host it to a live server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React with GitHub/Netlify.com. I've learn all this in the space of 6months with sleepless night with weekly assignment. Thank you Matthieu Delac for your help and always teaching us to take a break when we're stuck and SheCodes team for your assistance. React Application was very hard to work on but I kept going today done and dusted!

I recently had the privilege of participating in SheCodes, and I can't emphasize enough how impactful this program is for women looking to dive into the world of coding. Great program overall, I can say it was challenging but I did learn a new skillset.
After seeing SheCodes come up in my feed several times, I figured it was time to give coding a shot. I knew that my current career didn't make me happy so I wanted to try something new, and SheCodes made it so easy to learn coding. I really enjoyed this introductory part of the program. I learnt a lot and got to discover a whole new world outside of what I'm generally accustomed to. The lessons were short and easy to grasp and the challenges were the most exciting part of the entire course.
A brilliant course! There was so much content and so much to learn. I loved learning all about animation. The challenges challenged me again, and Matt was so right when he said coding can be frustrating but really fun. I am proud of completing the project as I seemed to have so many personal time constraints during this course but somehow managed it. SheCodes Plus here I come :)

It was fun learning how to make websites responsive and look great on different devices!
