She codes has been a great experience. I have learned how to code in a very simple and guided way and I am extremely happy to have joined this program and have learned so much along the process. I would recomend anyone to join.

I was really nervous about starting a course while on maternity leave and whether I'd be able to fit it in around looking after my 6month old but I've had the best time! This workshop was very helpful and I learnt a lot about job searching.
The workshop was very clear to follow and at some point it got super intense. However, if you watch the video properly you would be able to figure out a way. I learnt a lot about how to use API and also targeting each element of the code. Additionally for me I learnt that checking your spelling is very important cause I was stuck for 2 hours and found out that I ONLY spelled one word wrong! So if you don't want to make the same mistake install Code Spell Checker extension.
I HIGHLY recommend this workshop who wants to learn how to code, but in an easy and fun way! 10/10 also who is a complete beginner. I always thought coding was so difficult but Matt is a fantastic teacher and explains his lessons so clearly. Also if you get stuck, SheCodes team is ready to help you! Learning with SheCodes has been a life-changing and I'm looking forward to continue my coding journey!

Although this is just the basics course, I've learned so many things and Matt is an excellent teacher. Matt makes learning code easy and fun, which allows me to enjoy coding even more.
After taking a little while away, I've felt comfortable getting back into the course as Matt is consistently reminding you of things that can be easily forgotten and always explaining everything fully. The SheCodes community is wonderful to be a part of, you always feel supported and comfortable in asking any questions and making mistakes which is a major part of learning. I found the plus add on so inspiring and it has given me an absolute passion for coding!
SheCodes Plus required more time, patience, and dedication than the first course that I took in SheCodes. It was all worth it. It is a completely different area for me, and the older I get, the harder it is to acquire new knowledge. Trying to balance all the things that life demands and your mental health can be a difficult challenge. I had to postpone a few times, but in the end, it all worked out. I love the way Matt explains it because it's clear, it makes sense and the lessons are straight to the point. It feels like you are talking to a very nice friend. It's also important to mention that he teaches how to investigate the problem when something is not working. I will do other courses in SheCodes. I expect to get better, learn more things, and improve my knowledge. I highly recommend SheCodes.
I really liked the add-on workshop because I was able to learn things I wanted for my first project that I didn't know were possible with CSS. Also, exploring the reach of JavaScript is pretty cool!

We usually have the wrong idea about coding: it's all Math and you need to be super intelligent and nerdy to do it. I have a Bachelor in Languages so I never thought coding was for me. That was only until I joined SheCodes free class and then took on SheCodes Basic. I'm glad to have stepped out of my comfort zone! I believe the more advanced workshops need to be taken to start working with coding (never stop learning!). But I do see practical applications in my day-to-day of the new skills I've just acquired! Thank you!

I have gained vital coding skills but I have also learnt to be more patient with myself, I have learnt to embrace not knowing ,I have learnt to accept that sometimes learning something once is not enough and I might not grasp it all at once but I can keep trying because I will get it .
This course was great! I loved the flexibility! Life happened many times and I kept pushing my start date back until over a year after I signed up, and then again a few times once I started. But because of this I was able to actually do the work and learn from the class! I really appreciate that I was able to do this class for my own enrichment amongst my insane and unpredictable schedule and not have to stress! Perhaps once things calm down again I'll take another class, it was fun to see a final project using all the techniques I learned!

Learning how to build a website from a design is so helpful.
I loved the extra information I have learned through the basics add on package. I love how easily the information has built on the learning from the previous module, and it really gives you the opportunity to flex your knowledge and test your skills in creating something that looks quite professional!

This course was a big surprise for me! I have always wanted to learn to program but never got around to it. She codes has helped me discover how much I enjoy it and has motivated me to continue learning and pursuing this newfound passion.
I'm not going to lie, this section was not easy...however, it is not impossible either. I think the best part about SheCodes are the resources available when you need help. I found that from time to time, Matt would go over something and occasionally go back and forth about decisions. This can be challenging to say the least. That being said, it is important to remember that there is a ton of information and realize this will not be memorized or fully learned overnight. Patience is key!

A step up from SheCodes Basics, SheCodes Plus builds up on what I've learnt and exposes one to building your own site and publishing it. The use of APIs, Netlify and new knowledge in terms of JavaScript is eye-opening and allows one to explore their creative side. Loved it!
I never thought I was able to create my own landing page, and yet here I am. It is such a fun way to learn how to code. I would recommend this course to everyone curious and eager to learn something new. This will help me get better at my job and who knows, end up becoming a front-end developer myself.

This experience so far has been great. There were definitely some hiccups, especially because this is my very first experience coding. But, those ah ha moments are so worth the initial struggle. I've learned so much in such a short amount of time. I can't wait to see where this workshop takes me.

I am 31 and looking to change careers. I've always been fascinated with how computers work, how they do all the amazing things they do. SheCodes was advertised on instagram whilst I was looking at jobs like Online Marketing and I thought "What a good skill to have." It applies to so many careers and I had some time off of work to dedicate to learning a new skill. The SheCodes Basics course has been amazing. The bite-sized lessons and challenges to test what you've just learnt is an incredible teaching technique. I've enjoyed it so much and have recommended it to friends. Matt's program is incredibly easy to learn, with the information broken into bite-sized pieces that you can easily fit in to your busy schedule. As a project manager in IT/Automation, this basic knowledge has given me the understanding to assist my staff with their activities, and better understand their workload and the required time it takes to complete their project components.
The SheCodes Plus Add On workshop was challenging at times, but built on my knowledge of JS that I learnt in the SheCodes Plus workshop. The final project was fun to make!
