I can't recommend this course enough! The workshops and projects are designed really well which makes learning feel fun and rewarding.
I enjoyed learning with SheCodes. I learned the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but I wish the course would have gone a bit more in detail. What I really liked was the fact of having deadlines, which motivated me to study every week and dedicate some time for the homework and the final project!
I love love learning on SheCodes. I don't have experience with coding but Matt is such a good teacher that it makes it easier to learn. I would love to continue and keep on learning coding.

It was a lot of excitement when I got a concept right and a lot of frustrated grunts when I couldn't figure out how to make a button work but It was all worth it. SheCodes Plus is a good course in coding but I felt it was a bit slow, a lot of repetition and not so much new information. Compared to SheCodes Basic - it was not as comprehensive and considering the difference in price I frankly think it wasn't worth it. i enjoyed it nevertheless and felt I learned something new. The video instructions are usually very clear and it was fun to learn with you. I would recommend SheCodes Basic course to everyone, but not sure SheCodes Plus lived up to the expectations.
SheCodes was exactly what I needed to set the necessary foundation to learn coding. This platform was interactive, the classes straightforward and this makes learning easy.

I really liked how I was able to plan everything myself. The model of learning by doing was perfect for me! However, I missed being able to ask questions like "I don't understand, why is Y before Z?". I mean - I learned doing things, but not completely why I did them. Overall super satisfied, but for a longer education, I think I'd pick something with a live tutor once in a while. However - thank you SheCodes <3
This add-on course is a must-take. You learn a lot in just 2 weeks. The information you learn during this course will be very helpful in future projects and will give that extra pizazz for any site you want to build.

I had a lot of fun learning and doing the shecodes plus project. I'd tried to learn javascript before but always had problem with understanding it and didn't like it that much. Now however, with these step by step and amazing tutorials, I enjoy coding and creating more than ever.
This course was intense and I don't think I've ever learnt so much in 4.5 weeks!! It was exciting as it took my coding to the next level with API integration and actually pulling data from elsewhere to integrate into a search engine. I liked how I could apply my prior knowledge of HTML and CSS to create the design that I wanted. I'm so pleased I stuck at it and coded pretty much every day to keep up the momentum. Looking forward to learning even more crazy skills... am beginning to learn that if you are patient, anything is possible with coding!!

SheCodes has changed my life! For a really long time I did not know what I wanted to do professionally. I am currently in college, doing a major that I know is not what I want to do long term. Having taken the SheCodes courses, it has helped me identify and put my best foot forward towards my career. The lesson plans were easy to follow, fun and engaging! I knew nothing about coding before starting the workshop and now know how to build a (very basic) website. Love that there was flexibility to learn at your own pace and the possibility to push back deadlines if required. The support team were also very helpful.

I loved this! Thanks for everything, this was a great lil intro to get into coding. I WISH I HAD TIME TO SIGN UP FOR THE BIG WORKSHOP. I really wish I could just roll straight into the MAX workshop. But now I've started school and this is going to be a huge uphill battle for me to go from band director and musician to IT. Yikes! I will keep this in mind for later. It is soooo tempting, to keep the party going, but I will end up failing both sides. But again, I enjoyed this so much the FOMO IS REAL!!! I do recommend the workshops, even just the 3 week one to learn a few basics to get you going.
I enjoyed how well-balanced the course is when it comes to learning the skill of coding while putting in the work. You would expect that just because you're learning on your own that the course would be easy, but I was wrong. Matt truly pushes you out of your comfort zone to apply the skills you acquire within each lesson. I would recommend this course 100%

It was very helpful to build the project alongside the videos. Then it was fun to go back at the end and make any tweaks to the project to really make it your own. I learned so much from working on this project!
I must admit that this was the most difficult and intense course offered by SheCodes, and it took me a while to get into the React mindset. I am not very satisfied with the outcome, but I think this may be the first step for further future learning.
I highly recommend this React workshop. Matt teaches everything you need to know to build your first React app and gives you all the basic concepts to continue this learning journey on your own.
