I had tried wrapping my head around coding for a long time and even worked on some data science projects at work and university. I felt defeated because I found coding too complex and thought that the world of software development was a dream I could never pursue. I challenged myself to try coding just one more time and attended the SheCodes Introduction workshop. I was shocked at how easy to grasp the concepts were and how much I enjoyed the way Matt (my instructor) explained concepts. I felt for the first time that my dream of transitioning into software development was a real possibility. The lessons were ADHD-friendly (which was very important for me as an ADHD girlie!) as they were bite-sized, self-paced, aesthetic and interesting.
