SheCodes was recommended to me by a friend during a time that I thought I was not capable of coding, and I could not be more appreciative of the confidence it has given me. I especially enjoy the personal, kind teaching style Matt brings to his lessons. It really helped me remember why I wanted to learn coding! Matt not only teaches the material step by step but explains the "why" and "how" in the exact way that I had been looking for. The challenges included in the lessons were incredibly helpful as well, and boosted my confidence when working on the final project. This workshop is really fun! I like that each lesson is short and has a practice exercise to get hands on experience. I found the videos thorough, as a question would form in my head Matt would answer it!
SheCodes Responsive was a lot of fun! It was the best to build a responsive website along with Matt. I highly recommend this course because practically all websites today require to be responsive to different devices, so every developer has to be ready. I'm definitely going to apply the tips I learnt here from now on!
This workshop really pushed me to hone the concepts I learned in SheCodes Basics. Having done this workshop I feel confident enough to self-teach more complicated concepts. It's amazing to go from building a simple webpage to coding a fully functional project in just a few months!
The material was engaging, and the practical exercises were fun but too easy.
It was difficult and confusing at times, but it got better. I'll have to watch some YouTube videos or take extra React courses. Otherwise, Matt perfectly broke down the fundamentals.

Was a lot of fun and was not hard to learn. I thought it would take a bit to understand how you were able to animate some of the photos but turns out it is not hard at all.

This was a really good course and I had fun coding my weather app. JavaScript was challenging at times, but the good thing is that I was always able to go back to the video and re-watch a lesson. I was very happy to learn how to host a website, how to integrate an API, and how to work with GitHub. Matt is a great instructor and gives simple explanations with examples for subjects that are difficult to grasp at first. I also want to add that Matt explains how the industry works, which tools they use, and how the workflow works in the industry. This has given me a real appetite to learn more, cannot wait to continue my progress with more advanced courses! Happy coding π§‘

I would definitely recommend SheCodes! It gave me the opportunity to learn something from scratch and create very interesting things. I started with no idea about anything, and had a lot of fun in the process, seeing the projects come to life. Very interesting workshop. AI is a hot topic, learning how to create a generator based on this technology is extremely valuable as well as fun. It feels like a natural prosecution of the Plus program, I really enjoyed it.

Three years ago, I discovered SheCodes, but my coding journey had to wait while I juggled Python and SQL in my role as an IT consultant. Having a background in art history and architecture, I realised that my inner creative geek was missing! Learning about Axios and data fetching was probably the most fun thing we did this whole workshop. Other things were fun and well explained as usual, but I low-key love APIS and learning about AJAX and Axios was great.

A great course. I learned an incredible amount and had a lot of fun. The workshop is challenging, but not overwhelming. The Slack channel is also very helpful. Matt is great at explaining things.
The Plus add-on project was so much fun, after I'd finished one lesson I was desperate to go on to the next. Learning what Moment can do and how to use it was fascinating, and it's good to know how to use tools like this to make coding a little bit easier.
Nice additional module. It requires a minimal time investment, but you will receive a fully functional website by the end.
