I found this module quite challenging and fun at the same time. Being a beginner coder, this module took me through all the essential basic skills I needed. My favorite part was learning how to make my buttons work in JavaScript.
This was a fantastic learning experience for first time beginners and refreshing your memory if you already have knowledge of coding! Matt is an excellent instructor and he made everything fun!

I took the basics course purely, because I was curious about coding and wanted to see if it was something for me. After completing the course, I wouldn't say that this is a career path for me, but I genuinely did value the information that I learned, because who knew you can make a website with ease! It very interesting seeing how to integrate AI into a project and allowing it to generate said topic and that AI doesn't alway behave the way it is meant to, which can be funny or frustrating.

I enjoyed the simple, incremental fashion in which Matt's coding course progressed. Mastering the fundamentals of CSS and JS functionalities is so important for web development. I used to believe that coding required special expertise, with the right resources anyone can become a coder. I find coding to be a therapeutic escape from stress and anxiety. The SheCodes Responsive course was an amazing experience! I have learned a lot about HTML, CSS, Flexbox and Bootstrap. I feel more confident coding and can't wait to create more beautiful and functional websites. Matt's lessons are the best and easy to understand. I also appreciate the practice challenges.
I started this coding bootcamp with no prior knowledge of coding whatsoever, today, I can confidently say that I am well on my way to becoming a web developer. This is mainly because Matt is able to explain the concepts so easily and clear enough for you to grasp almost in one sitting, and, he also provides a lot of resources for you to use should you not understand making the workshop challenges fun to work on.
It was a lot of fun to play around with the AI API, and see what kind of answers it would generate when prompts and context would change.
I thoroughly enjoyed learning through the SheCodes program. The weekly challenges allowed me to put theory into practice and watch my code come alive! It was a fun learning experience, and I especially found the videos and slack communication helpful.

I really enjoyed this week's workshop, but I've missed something here, I was hoping to see more about Java Script, more things like animation, functions, or even more alternatives like, how pages make the "loading animation" thing when you first visit their page. But besides all that it was fun and I understood everything that Matt had taught me.

It is always requires a lot of courage to make a step towards your dreams. For me, IT was always a broad concept associated with excessive amount of terms and rules and you need to know which one to choose from millions of them to implement into functionable project. Seemed pretty difficult until I decided not to judge the book by its cover. I am pretty excited that I made a decision to start coding with SheCodes. Since the very start the team led by instructor Matt was super supportive. Matt has this ability to put it straight to the core making the process of learning fun and efficient.

I enjoyed the coursework. They were easy to understand and in case something wasn't clear, I could just go back and rewatch the videos without a problem. The challenges made me think outside the box for the code to work. All in all, it has been a fun experience.
I can honestly say despite the challenges I faced. I had a fun time learning how to do the basics in coding. I'm excited for the next workshop and will definitely use any notes and printouts I made to keep going forward. The simplest thing can mess up your code from; spacing, wrong quotation, putting the wrong ending or even spelling. So take your time, breathe, and keep trying even when it seems like you did the same thing over and over. You got this.
Embarking on SheCodes Basics program was fun and educating but, I experienced difficulty because I didn't have a laptop of my own. I had to write the code on my phone, copy it and send it to my flash so I can use a friend's laptop. All the same I graduated... I strongly believe in the quote "I can do anything I put my mind to 💯" Thanks to Matt Delac and his amazing team!!!
