Fun but challenging Project! Learned a lot of new things and developed my first World Clock.
I have never taken any coding classes before SheCodes as I am a registered nurse, but after starting my hobby of building replica Star Wars droids I found it was useful to learn some basic coding. I started with some Arduino projects which I really enjoy so I was looking to learn some new computer languages. SheCode was fun and helpful by having homework that made me apply what I was learning with each lesson. I hope to keep on building what I learned in the basics course.

The basic Add-on has been fun and little challenging at the same time. I had an amazing experience and it was great to learn more new things. The hands on homeworks and the project has allowed me to apply what I learned and I got to learn more practical experience. The instructors were so helpful to guide me through the challanges.
8 weeks of intense learning and loving Javascript and creating my first Js application. 10/10 recommend. Totally fun!

I've always found the idea of coding a bit intimidating because off all the available languages and the fact that I didn't know where I would even start. SheCodes made that process quite simple and easy to follow. It was so much fun and challenging that sometimes I wasn't even aware I was actually learning

Taking the SheCodes Plus course was really exciting for me.While some tasks seemed really hard at first, but when I solved them, it felt really good. What a blast! Another great addition. Despite having some prior Python experience, Matt's teaching really made things click for me. Revisiting the weather app project in Python was a highlight—it was both fun and practical. Overall, I feel much more confident in my coding abilities now. If you're considering learning Python, SheCodes is definitely the way to go!
This project was super fun! took a lot of brainstorming and passed knowledge to build but was worth it! I really enjoy putting my own spin on these projects and pushing myself to be more adventurous!

One of the hardest workshop so far but I was looking forward to learning about AI and learning how it comes to be. Now I know how to create one! This makes me feel so proud. I think I might do another one for recipes because I love cooking new dishes for fun.
This course was so much fun! It's centred on building a world clock app, giving participants the opportunity to work with JavaScript libraries for fetching and parsing time zones. There is a good balance between providing learning content and techniques, while also encouraging personal creativity and project direction. I particularly enjoyed getting creative with vanilla CSS and implementing themes to reflect different times of day.
I have learned tons of great work all thanks to my teacher Matt. 8 weeks ago if someone told me i would be able to build my own functional weather app i would have shamelessly laughed in doubt but today i am so happy that i have managed and accomplished coding a whole weather app. Great experience,looking forward to learning more coding skills and tricks😊👩💻

In writing, the rule of thumb for successful communication is "what you say can't be separated from how you say it". Both are equally important. Now, I understand the basics of digital syntax and functionality of how communication can display on screen and interacts with the audience.

This workshop was able to distill down the fundamentals of Javacript, CSS, and HTML in a way that was accessible and easy to learn through the pragmatic practice of creating a weather app! I feel not only do I understand those elements better than I did before, but also knowing how to use them in tandem with APIs has been a huge differentiator in my learning and understanding. I appreciate the structure that the schedule provides to help stay on track, but am extremely grateful for being able to use extensions also when life got in a little wonky in the middle.

This was a great add-on course to the basic learnings of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was especially fun to try and code at the same time as the learning videos for the project (assignment) for this course. This was a great way to test my understanding of what was being done, and see if I have found other ways to do reach the same solution.

Never in a million years would I think that coding could be this fun and easy to learn. The last 3 weeks have been a challenge at times, but with patience and the dedication I have put into learning how to code has been nothing less than a blessing. I am so thankful for this program and I highly recommend these courses with Matt if you are wanting to jump start your career in coding.
Repetition is key! Be not afraid to watch the videos multiple times. I take a nap after and then it all clicks. Being good at this is not an overnight skill. The journey is never-ending. Through this course, I see that I have a lot to learn. This was beyond fun and I enjoyed it.
