I have never thought coding would be so fun, thanks to SheCodes. I just wanted to look at how coders do their things but after the workshop, I am really thinking of learning more.

This workshop really helped me to understand about coding, and what it really is. Because I had an idea that it could be a really difficult and dull thing. But it really isn't, and it's fun! It's perfect to introduce you to the world of Coding. Definitely changed my mind about it.

I recommend this course to everyone who wants to start coding, no matter in which coding language. Specifically to those who are afraid of coding and think it's too hard to learn! This is certainly a good way to start because making a website (landing page in this case) using HTML, CSS and JS is actually fun and interactive. So you won't be bored and you keep going to achieve the defined small goals during this course. I personally really enjoyed it.
The SheCodes Plus project was the perfect balance of fun and challenging. It introduced a lot of concepts that are new to me but Matt explains everything clearly and in a way that makes everything come together in progressive steps. I recommend it to everyone!

SheCodes's workshops are truly amazing. They are constructed to make it easy to follow and understand the fundamental concepts even for those who think they "weren't born to code"π For example, although I've completed the introduction to Object Oriented Programming in college before taking SheCodes course, the part about how function receives parameters was somewhat confusing to me. I could do template-based tasks, but I did not have deep, intuitive understanding of the function-parameters relations. And with Matt's explanation, I've got this "Aha!" moment in a matter of minutes.
The video material was super easy to follow. The workshop is the perfect introduction (as well as a refresher if it's been a while!) to HTML, CSS and JS - the information does not overwhelm you and it actually makes you excited to come back to it every week and complete the challenges/homework. The knowledge that you'll gain solely from the workshop may be limited, but it will be a solid foundation and once you get to the final project you'll realize how much you've actually learned as it will be sufficient to get you "in the zone" and allow you to have fun with it :) . The personal advice offered by the instructor is extremely useful as well. Definitely worth every cent. Excited to come back for more soon!
I knew absolutely nothing about coding or development before beginning this course; while I still wouldn't feel comfortable going out to apply for developer jobs, I am super confident in the foundation this first workshop has helped me to build. I love Matt's teaching style and the exercises are fun & inviting in a way you don't even realize you're learning! 15/10 recommend & I can't wait to start Workshop #2 tomorrow πΎ

I really enjoyed the SheCodes introductory workshop! Matt was a great teacher and went through everything step-by-step. I especially enjoyed his humour - it made learning more fun! The challenges and project are also a great way to hold you accountable and practice what you learn along the way. I'm a digital marketing professional and I think what I have learned here will certainly help me in my career. I'm looking forward to continuing my learning and becoming more adept with programming. SheCodes is a very well done training:insightful, practical, entertaining and flexible to meet your needs: either to just get a first flavour of coding/programming or switch career completely. I enjoyed every bit of the program (lessons , exercises, homework...) and had loads of fun completing it. I must admit that I was, at the beginning, very sceptical to the e-learning format , but the way the course is structured : simple and yet very engaging (insightful videos, fun exercises, support given ...) made the whole experience greatly enjoyable. SheCodes is extremely easy to use. The challenges after each lesson are great practice and provide excellent support when you go to complete your homework. The homework projects provide great references for the final project and Java Script is so much fun to learn!

My name is Linda, Linn for short. I have worked in hotel and restaurants for my whole life and I've been very successful in that area. However, I got a daughter who just turned one, and it was impossible for me to continue working those hours. Therefore I looked up other opportunities and found that coding seems fun and interesting. I have no prior experience from it, but so far it is so much fun and I can really see myself working with this in the future.
I had a lot of fun learning these rookie coding skills. This workshop completely exceeded my expectations! I feel a little bit more ready now to level with any challenges I might face in my career and, also, very much aware of the power of coding. I am looking forward to continuing this journey in the future.
SheCodes Plus bootcamp is a great course to learn about Front End Web Development. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed applying the learnings by building a weather app.

This workshop was so amazingly designed to the point were even though I came across difficulties I wouldn't demotivate. It not only gave me an idea of how fun it is to code, but it forced me to overcome adversities by my self (although I could always ask for help). I am super happy with the decision I made by signing up, I will definitely come back to do a more in depth program. Thank you Matt, and all the programmers that made this experience possible.

SheCodes bootcamp takes the mystery out of coding and make projects straight-forward to learn development skills in HTML, CSS, and Javascript. In completing the weather application, though there were moments of frustration, the scope and the instruction helped me overcome the challenges of using vanilla Javascript to build a functional application. I can't wait to take on more challenges!

I had a great experience with SheCodes! These 3 weeks have flown by really fast. Everything from video classes to student's support was just amazing! This workshop is a really fun and engaging way to start learning to code. Matt's videos are easy to follow, and being able to chat to other students on Slack is a super unique and motivational way of doing an online course like this. Really enjoyed it!
This was harder and easier than I expected it to be, honestly. :) Once I got the hang of things and acknowledged that I needed more review time with the lessons, it was much easier. If you're interested at all, I say take a class! It is very rewarding, fun, and the support you receive is great!
SheCodes React was surprisingly a fun challenge! The lessons follow an organized and simple way of learning how to code using React. Besides that, we also learn how to solve common problems and turn ideas into real apps/websites. π
I was never brave enough to learn coding, until I got to know SheCodes. I would have never ever thought that this will be so much fun! Matt explains everything little by little and the challenges after each explanation make it easy to remember what he explained. A fun and easy way to learn coding
A friend of mine suggested me this web coding course and I thought it was a great idea! I was quite enthusiast about learning how websites and pages are structured and work. At first, I admit that I was afraid of not being able to follow the lessons and do the exercises, but the course is well-structured and everything is explained clearly. The most fun thing is that you can immediately see what you are creating and I think that's amazing. Almost like having a magic wand. Thanks to Matt and SheCodes Team, I have learned the basics of HTML, Java and CSS. :)
I loved the SheCodes+ course and working on my finale project. It was intense, and some challenges can be difficult, but Matt explains things super clearly and makes learning very fun. The team is so nice, and available to help. I liked that there is also a bit of interaction on Slack with other students. I've succeeded to complete the course while working full-time and being pregnant, and I'm not sure I could have done it with a different course. I'm really grateful for this opportunity, and looking forward to learn more about coding.

Hi everybody! My name is Joana and i'm a 30 years old kindergarten teacher from Portugal! I realized that I could be so much more than that so I've recently expand my actuation areas and, to be able to reach everyone, I need some basic programming skills to leed with websites and more...but I neveeer thought that I would like it so much! Matt explain everything to us on videos and we have Slack with a wonderful team that help us to resolve some challenges on the way. Coding can be so much fun! I actually have some basic knowledge about programming. However, the technology is always evolving, and it is hard to catch up all the time if there is less opportunities to leverage its skillset. Therefore, the learning through SheCodes' Workshop made me be up to date! It's fun more than anything else!

Complete beginner here! I've tried and failed, start and stopped free coding workshops, and felt convinced I would never get the hang of it. I wasn't cut out for coding. Now, I'm sad it's going to be over! I had so much fun learning from Matt, the tools were amazing and the knowledge feels like a huge stepping stone for me! I was itching to get my two little girls to bed every night these past three weeks so that I could get to my challenges! The project was so fun, I finished it early :) I cannot recommend this enough.

First of all, it has been a lot of fun to create by using html, css and JavaScript. I was very scared to dive into the tech world before joining SheCodes. I did a lot of researches on different courses to be a developer but so far, I find this course most suitable for me. Matt 's lecture is so practical and I like the fact we actually "code" instead of going through a lot of theories. I am excited to continue my journey as a developer thanks to SheCodes!

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the SheCodes Introduction to Coding Workshop, and I'm very much looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus! Matt explains things clearly, and I think the course set-up is excellent - the challenges are very helpful, the homework is useful for helping cement the new knowledge, and the final project was a fun way of testing my new skills, and starting off my coding portfolio. The Slack community is also very supportive, and it feels so good when you can help others as well. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get into coding, whether you are starting from scratch or have some very basic HTML knowledge like me.

In the past I had a short adventure with coding while my studies and after that experienced I was sure, coding is not something for me. Few years after that experience I decided to give a chance to SheCodes and I'm extremely happy I did! Each SheCodes lesson is explained very well and it makes the whole learning experience fun :) I highly recommend it to anyone, who wants to learn at least basics of coding.
