I have thoroughly enjoyed this learning experience and would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in coding. My favourite part of the workshops was putting together all the separate elements learnt in order to create a website. I had a lot of fun and look forward to continuing my coding journey!

When I finished my SheCodes intro class I knew I had to learn more. SheCodes do a great job of pacing the classes so you never feel too overwhelmed by all the new information you are learning. All the challenges make you think and apply what you have learned from the lessons. The main project was fun, challenging and feels incredibly rewarding to finish. I have learned so much from SheCodes and cannot wait to see where learning to code takes me next!
This has been the easiest and most interactive way for me to learn how to code. In the past I was used to learning html and css from generic apps, but they weren't nearly as fun as SheCodes. If you're on the fence, I would highly recommend trying out the 3-week workshop in order to get a feel for the curriculum like I did and be a part of the slack online project help forum. I'm looking forward to purchasing the SheCodes Plus course soon because of how much I liked this one. Thanks, Matt, for such amazing instruction and explanation of the material!!
SheCodes is excellent for people with or without coding experience. The beginner's classes were straightforward, well structured, and fun. I really enjoyed that the students are not just left with all the material, but we had ongoing live support at any time! I cannot wait to continue with the more advanced SheCodes courses!
The course is well paced and Matt is a great instructor. Some of the lessons can be challenging but also very fun once you start getting the hang of it. It's also great that you can ask for help when you need it and rewatch videos if you get stuck. I definitely recommend taking it if you like coding.

A smooth project guideline with clear explanation for a beginner like myself. Great experience to learn so much more 'behind-the-scene' of webpages that we see every day. There are frustrating moments where my codes are not functioning as I want them too but I always manage to get the help I need through slack 😄

I have wanted to learn to code for so long and had no idea where or how to start! I tried so many of the free online courses but always felt like I had walked into the theatre half way through the film. With SheCodes, I feel like I arrived early! After 3 weeks I understand the basics and the best part is, I am having SO.MUCH.FUN!
I had tons of fun in the 3-week workshop! I learned so much and it was presented to me in an organized way so that it wasn't overwhelming. Matt explains things really well and I'll definitely be looking into the SheCodes Plus React course in the future.

I have been interested in learning how to code for a couple years now but didn't think I would be any good at it. This course gave me the confidence to learn and it was so fun to see how much progress I was able to make after only three weeks.
SheCodes is by far the best coding workshop experience I've ever had. The videos are succinct and easy to understand and the challenges along the way are a great check on learning. In just 3 weeks I was able to build my own landing page using HTML, CSS, and Javascript and had a lot of fun doing it!

It may have taken me 3 weeks and two days to complete the SheCodes Workshop, but this experience has taught me an insurmountable amount about tackling my fears! Each lesson pushed my knowledge in code just the right amount, to where I could then knock out the challenges bit by bit. I attribute my success as well to, Lexi D., and other members of the SheCodes.io Slack community, and especially because I was experiencing setbacks coming from a place of doubt as I reached the half-way point of the course. But, the fast responses to my inquiries as to why it was that my code wasn't working, quickly got me back into tempo, (hence the additional two days), and eventually having the confidence to face the dysfunctional coding mishaps on my behalf. After viewing their online commercial, I was a bit hesitant at first to consider spending the $99 that course would cost, however after the free live-session workshop which I joined, this solidified my stance once and for all to overcome my fears and learn how to code! It truly is amazing to see that after three years following my initial attempt to complete an HTML course, SheCodes Workshop not only aided in my knowledge base of HTML, but provided me with a solid understanding of Javascript, and CSS basics, and most of all, a motivating community--which overall factored into my successful completion of the workshop course. My advice for anyone considering to opt for SheCodes is that, realize it's a worthwhile investment that lasts a lifetime. The skills learned in this workshop shows a glimpse of an individual's forbearance, needed to succeed in life's challenges, no matter how daunting they seem to be at first.
Learning to code from SheCodes was such an amazing and fun experience! The workshops are very easy to follow and you also have plenty of opportunities to build your skills. I am so glad I found this program and I highly recommend it to everyone! You will definitely not regret taking it!

What I love about the SheCodes program is that the videos only cover a few concepts at a time making it easy to fully understand with fun challenges. With an easy to follow curriculum and a take it step-by-step instructor like Matt, learning how to code was made fun and easy with constant support via slack. This course consisted of easy to follow steps that helped me create a full page website. I appreciate the direct approach the instructor took. Each lesson built on the next. At the end of the course, I feel very confident using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript functions.
This course refreshed and built on my previous knowledge of coding, it also challenged me to be more creative with the languages and functionality. I really enjoyed the course and will continue on the other modules.

I really enjoyed the workshop. The pace is perfect and can easily be combined with work, lessons are fun and it motivates and guides you to search for more and learn on your own too. Very well taught and fun! I used to think coding was out of the question for me, as I have some trouble learning. In SheCodes I found an organized and clear way of teaching I could actually get along with, that kept me motivated!
I loved the class, luckily I had taken a couple others before this one, so I followed along a little easier with some of the sections. You definitely have to be a fast learner to keep up. This class was a lot of fun, I and enjoyed all the hands on workshops, with easy access to help if I needed it.
It was a great, fun course, and relevant content. I am looking forward to studying the next modules.

I was always intimidated by coding. I didn't understand why people enjoyed spending hours at a computer, and the words they were writing did not make sense to me. However, I became very intrigued by coding because I knew that it is really useful to learn. SheCodes gave me the confidence to code! The lessons taught were fun and easy to follow. I now understand how coders can spend hours at their computers--they are doing work that they love! This is definitely a course for anyone and everyone to try. You won't be disappointed! 😊

It was a good experiece, I had fun and got to learn a lot more about coding. I feel we could have access to more material so we could learn more about coding, not only about the project itself.

The course came with its challenges but in the end, I was able to develop my first-ever weather app. I could not have done it without the support from João Lopes(work-space admin) when I got stuck or had questions. He provides solutions and resources so that you can code successfully. Learning to code never crossed my mind, but now that I have started, I see how easy and fun it can be. As an architectural engineer by trade, I decided to take a leap and expand my knowledge of coding and software engineering. I had very little coding experience in college and what I did learn was pretty outdated (MATLAB and things of that sort), so joining this workshop was a bit intimidating at first. To my surprise, this workshop has not only been easy to understand, but it's been quite fun as well! I feel like I've learned so much and I intend to continue on my journey of coding. I highly recommend this workshop for anyone looking to learn the basics. It is definitely worth the investment!

I am an accountant and graduate student by day and a newbie coder by night. My journey started a few weeks ago when a colleague challenged me to learn how to code. Up until that day I had always perceived the goal as too difficult and unobtainable for me, but that all changed when I stumbled upon a SheCodes advertisement on Instagram. Thank goodness I did because before that I had researched online and felt overwhelmed by the thousands of programs that can range anywhere from $99 to over $15,000. I took the free 60-minute webinar first and immediately was pulled in by Matt Delac's teaching style, the format of the course and how easy it was to follow along. The first week I felt just a tad bit intimidated, but each lesson really takes you step by step and I can tell that I have begun to absorb the information. It's exciting to wake up in the morning and feel eager to learn something new. This class is perfect for anyone with little to no background of coding like myself and also provides an amazing opportunity to network with like-minded women who are also looking for a challenge. I give SheCodes, 10 out of 10 and I cannot wait to start the next workshop, SheCodes Plus React. I went as far as starting a GoFundMe to get the cash to be able to take the next course. I've never felt more motivated!

I particularly appreciated the hands-on of the course that allows you to learn by trying out and finding your own solutions while also providing support in case you’re stuck. I strongly recommend it to complete beginners interested in learning the basics of coding. I now look forward to continuing the more advanced course to finally turn my MA thesis into an interactive website that will make history more accessible and fun to the public.
SheCodes Plus is a very fun and easy way of learning. This course really helped me to understand JavaScript better. And when you need some help there is always someone who can help you on your way through Slack.

I definitely recommend learning with SheCodes. After losing my job due to Covid19, I took the beginner course to initially decide if it was for me or not, as well as to enhance my IT skills. The lessons are very user-friendly and it's great that you can progress at your own pace, with sensible and achievable deadlines to work towards. I was wrong to assume that coding would be boring and impossible, I've found it really engaging and actually good fun. I plan to continue with SheCodes!

This was a great class for beginners like myself! The videos were easy to follow and the challenges, homeworks, and project really allowed me to be hands on and implement what I learned. It was great to have the ability to go back and reference the videos if I got stuck. I did find that the course took more than 15 hours as stated in the course description (at least for myself - a beginner who was taking lots of notes along the way, viewing videos more than once if I got stuck, etc.). This workshop taught me the very basic fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and has set me off to further explore the world of coding and learn more skills! Also, I can't say enough good things about the SheCodes team and the Slack channel that comes along with this workshop - the team was always super quick to respond to any questions I had about the course and the Slack channel provided great support!
When I started to take this course, I had absolutely no idea that coding could be so much Fun! 😄 Thanks to Matt's step-by-step explaination following by the practical exercises, you get a very good understanting of how it works, and increasingly motivated by witnessing your own progress and new knowledge adquired!
