Before starting this course, Iβll admit I was a little intimidated by Python. Itβs known as a powerhouse in the coding world, and I imagined it being much more complex than it turned out to be. But Matt and the SheCodes team did an amazing job breaking it down into manageable, clear lessons. By the end, I felt so much more confident. Turns out I had overhyped it in my head! After spending weeks on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, learning Python was a refreshing shift. Revisiting APIs during the course was also a great way to reinforce concepts from my earlier workshops. Itβs incredibly rewarding to apply something new and have it click so quickly. Next up Python and AI!

Python AI was so much fun! Building a travel itinerary with code? That was nothing short of amazing. I still have a love-hate relationship with indentation (it continues to be a pain), but this time around, the concepts started making sense. I don't even know how - but wow! It all clicked, and I actually felt powerful writing code that could think and plan.
The SheCodes BootCamp was challenging but I have gained so much knowledge because Matt is such an amazing instructor, it took me longer than I expected to finish this and it seemed impossible to finish and at some point i even thought of giving up but i continued pushing, and again thank you Matt for allowing us extend our dates, because of that i was able to finish

I really enjoyed the React Add-On workshop. I learnt to build a fully functional dictionary, showing meanings, examples, synonyms and images related to the word. The project involved using APIs and react loops, also splitting application into different components to ensure they are clear, and easy to understand/manoeuvre. It's really amazing to have made it this far in my coding journey, starting from understanding html basics to vanilla javascript, python and react- I thank Matt for his great and detailed tutorship as well as the SheCodes support team for their prompt support/guidance whenever needed.
