My SheCodes React Add-on workshop was an amazing experience. Building a fully functioning dictionary app in React using multiple APIs was the highlight. I now feel even more confident in my React and API skills.
Although it took me a little longer to complete this has been an amazing learning experience which I hope to continue to grown an learn from.
I cannot speak highly enough about SheCodes. The fact that the program is as great as it is is one thing, but the fact that its online and prerecorded videos makes it even more amazing. Matt is a fantastic teacher and I can't wait to do the next course!

This workshop was the deal for me. I am working a full-time job and for quite some time now I wanted to see if coding was for me. I took the Basic course not knowing what to expect and in 2 weeks' time decided that web development was what I wanted to do. I applied for the SheCodes Max while still taking the basic course. I can't recommend it enough, it is a perfect method for learning (lesson + homework + solution) and it keeps you accountable to show up every day, even for a bit, but it makes a difference. Plus the community is amazing! Both tutors and other students are really friendly and help you out with technical questions and more. Would suggest it 100%

I have just finished the Shecode Responsive workshop, a course that taught me how to create responsive and user-friendly websites using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. I learned a lot of new skills and techniques that I can apply to my projects as a front-end developer. It's amazing to have this new knowledge. However I felt that this module is too compressed: too much information in little time. Comparing to other modules I'm not feeling that confidente about working in React by muself, but I'll continue my efforts.

βMy name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Management and I was not happy with what I've studied but because I wanted to have a qualification and get a job so I can earn a living so I went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some boot camp and I fall in love with it but to enroll to that boot camp you needed funding which I did not have. This course was an amazing experience. I had three weeks to finish all my lessons and assignments but I just couldn't wait so I completed the course in over a week! The journey has completely changed my previous opinion about coding. There was little math involved in this basic course so I could use my creativity to create a simple website page, which is something I'm extremely proud of. It was an amazing experience having my first workshop with SheCodes! I loved every step in the process and enjoyed seeing the outcome improve every time I learned and applied a new skill. The gradual buildup of knowledge, the bits of challenges in most lessons, and the tips provided in the solution videos as well as in the snippets all helped me maintain what I learned from the lessons, practice on it, and even expand it.
