I just completed SheCodes Basics and I feel so accomplished with the experience. The course and lessons were well-structured and engaging. The instructors and the community as a whole help made my work more exciting, as they were very knowledgeable and patient with us all. I am 31 and looking to change careers. I've always been fascinated with how computers work, how they do all the amazing things they do. SheCodes was advertised on instagram whilst I was looking at jobs like Online Marketing and I thought "What a good skill to have." It applies to so many careers and I had some time off of work to dedicate to learning a new skill. The SheCodes Basics course has been amazing. The bite-sized lessons and challenges to test what you've just learnt is an incredible teaching technique. I've enjoyed it so much and have recommended it to friends. It's an amazing tool to learn! I would suggest making your home page as clean as you can, SEO friendly, adding header and footers, and with as good structure and class names as possible before adding the rest of the pages, this will save you a lot of time when building the rest of the pages.

SheCodes is such an immersive workshop. Here we learned about the moment.js library, built to simplify the retrieval of data concerning times and timezones across the globe. I had a lot of fun building the World Clock App using this amazing tool.

This workshop was the deal for me. I am working a full-time job and for quite some time now I wanted to see if coding was for me. I took the Basic course not knowing what to expect and in 2 weeks' time decided that web development was what I wanted to do. I applied for the SheCodes Max while still taking the basic course. I can't recommend it enough, it is a perfect method for learning (lesson + homework + solution) and it keeps you accountable to show up every day, even for a bit, but it makes a difference. Plus the community is amazing! Both tutors and other students are really friendly and help you out with technical questions and more. Would suggest it 100%

It's amazing to have this new knowledge. However I felt that this module is too compressed: too much information in little time. Comparing to other modules I'm not feeling that confidente about working in React by muself, but I'll continue my efforts.

I had an amazing time learning how to code. I had no prior knowledge of coding and these lessons have taught me a great deal and were quite easy to understand. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Management and I was not happy with what I've studied but because I wanted to have a qualification and get a job so I can earn a living so I went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some boot camp and I fall in love with it but to enroll to that boot camp you needed funding which I did not have. This course was an amazing experience. I had three weeks to finish all my lessons and assignments but I just couldn't wait so I completed the course in over a week! The journey has completely changed my previous opinion about coding. There was little math involved in this basic course so I could use my creativity to create a simple website page, which is something I'm extremely proud of. Matt's instructions were simple but effective, and there were the Slack community and Athena AI to assist me during my learning process. I will definitely continue to improve my limited coding knowledge through other more advanced SheCodes courses.
