I had so much fun learning about advanced JavaScript. It was a challenging yet a fun language to learn. Iβm so happy to know how to call a function and happier to have gained knowledge about how that concept works. "I actually have no background in coding. I studied Tourism, but I've always been interested in learning about coding and IT. During the pandemic, it was my biggest struggle, and I had thoughts of changing my career. Then I found SheCodes! SheCodes has been my lifesaver. The classes are pretty amazing! There are a lot of exercises, and they're really beginner-friendly. The way Matt teaches with videos is really easy to understand. I definitely would love to continue with the next workshops.

These were the longest 8 weeks of my entire 26 years ,but i wouldn't trade them for anything because they have equiped me with such incredible skills and knowledge! I went from only being able to create a static page using HTML,CSS and basic JavaScript to creating my own weather application, which for me is beyond greatness because when i first started i didn't even know what HTML Elements wereππ€¦ββοΈ. I am going to keep working on mastering these 3 languages and add a forecast to my pride-themed weather application. I am grateful to Matt for making my coding journey so much fun and easy, he really knows how to explain things in a way that even if its hard you finally get to the point where you're like,"oh yeah, i see it now" and that is the best feeling. Thank you, Matt! I am also grateful to my Slack Community for always being there to answer my questions and rescuing me whenever i got stuck. This was an amazing journey to be part of as a Women. lessons are are fun and challenging and with coding there is no one right answer that is the best part! One thing you don't stop practicing.
I really enjoyed digging into creating grids and heroes in CSS. The final project is gorgeous and will be an amazing addition to my portfolio too!

It was an amazing experience
SheCodes Responsive taught me how to create responsive websites that could be accessed on a mobile and desktop device and respond to the size of the screen. This course allowed me to understand how developers can create amazing websites that can be used on various devices without any issues. I learned how to manipulate the placement of my images, text and other elements to design an efficient and beautiful website. I was taught to successfully use Bootstrap to create grids, CSS Utility Classes to design responsive websites for smaller screens, and practiced adding Bootstrap classes to my elements to easily and quickly add style without having to access the CSS file. The SheCodes Slack team was amazing throughout the learning process, because creating responsive websites can get confusing and frustrating. With their help, I was able to navigate through the lessons with little to no anxiety that I would be stuck and on my own.

I had an amazing time learning how to code and challenging myself to finish my homework on time. The past few weeks have been an eye-opener and I learned to push myself and not give up when I felt stuck. Slack and Google were my friends throughout my journey, I was able to find solutions and other ways of coding which made me understand better and enabled me to try different things without any fear. I still have a long way but I am up for any challenge coming my way.
