Around 6 years ago I graduated university with a MSc Computer Science. Since then I have been raising and working around my four children. My own career and dreams on hold.... until I found SheCodes and realised I could do both. So grateful to be part of this amazing program that supports women getting into the tech industry β€οΈ
These 8 weeks were a little challenging but the way it was taught was amazing! Everything was taught step by step and it became easier. Thank you SheCodes!
I completed the Basics course back in January and it felt amazing to begin my coding journey and finish the first course so strongly. However, I stopped coding for a while and didn't practice the techniques I learned; but when I was ready, I came back and did the Basics course over again and went on to the Basics Add-on course and now, I have completed that as well. I love that the courses are there for me whenever I need them, forever.
I learnt a lot of skills in this course , and building an interactive website with HTML, CSS and JavaScript was a challenge for me but with the amazing explanation of Matt Delac I succeed . Thank You

It has been an amazing experience, I enjoyed every part of it but that does not mean it was not challenging. The most challenging part for me has to be the CSS grids part since it was new to me but I eventually got the hang of it. SheCodes is an amazing learning platform.

I was terrified about coding and thought this course would be too hard for me to learn and complete, but all the useful information, links, videos, challenge, solutions e.c.t. are amazing and really made me feel at ease and enjoy my first coding experience!
It has been an amazing journey for me,i have owned a laptop for over a year and would only open it to watch movies but now i can confidently create a website that i used to think is the most difficult and could only be developed by people who are good at Maths

This career workshop from SheCodes, the most amazing online learning platform, was another Booster providing very valuable information in terms of breaking into tech. Bit sad that I'm already graduating from the best bootcamp, however super confident and enthusiastic for what's next. I cannot believe I was able to complete such an amazing project! I initially felt a bit intimidated, but this is exactly where my foundational and more advanced skills came in place. The add-on was well-structured and easy to follow, just like other courses. I also loved the new tricks covered during the project!
I spent many hours perfecting my landing page and it was well worth the effort! I learned how to work as a real developer creating this project. I do have to share that embedding the instagram code was my least favorite part of this experience but I love how my page turned out. Thank you, Matt and the amazing SheCodes team!

I fell in love with creating and structuring components in React. Using quite complex concepts, integrating two different APIs and getting comfortable coding in React. This SheCodes workshop was amazing! I learned all about AI integration, writing code to work with different AI models, and even how to tweak CSS using JavaScript. Plus, I got to play around with useful JavaScript plugins. Best part? I built my own AI Inspirational Quote Generator using everything I learned. After taking a long break to learn a new role I have come back. It was amazing how much information I have already retained and how easy it was to just back in right where I left off. I loved working on this project! I love SheCodes Basic because it covers every detail one needs to know without making it boring or time-consuming. Instead, there are bite-sized lessons. Challenges at the end of each lesson expand my creativity. I like to learn new things. And the best thing now is that I understand the emails from the developer in our company :D I learned about SheCodes last year on instagram and had plan to start the courses when i finished my education which I did last year, so it nice that I have time for more and get to learn the amazing coding language.

It was quite challenging, had to stop and start multiple times because I would have to debug often(My fault because I forget to put semi-colons on my JavaScript). The support from the SheCodes Slack team helped a lot and referring to Matt's lessons to refresh my memory. Overall, it was an amazing experience, it was thorough, challenging and insightful. I would have liked to link it further (i.e. how we did previously with the list to chose any given city, not just the ones we code), but I understand given the timeframe that is not possible. As always though, KUDOS to Matt and team for their teaching and amazing teaching skills and knowledgeable support!
It has been an amazing ride so far. It was great to do some advanced coding during the SheCodes Plus workshop. It gave me a boost and so much confidence knowing that I could pull it off. The tutorials were really explanatory and it was a great experience altogether!

The videos are in bite sizes for you to absorb it more and I honestly prefer it this way! If you prefer a mostly self-paced but also guided learning experience I Reccomend SheCodes!

Enjoyed doing the Responsive add-on project. It is amazing and makes you feel very confident.
The basic Add-on has been fun and little challenging at the same time. I had an amazing experience and it was great to learn more new things. The hands on homeworks and the project has allowed me to apply what I learned and I got to learn more practical experience. The instructors were so helpful to guide me through the challanges.
