I found the course interesting, challenging, and rewarding. I feel that over the duration of the course I gained a lot more knowledge about coding. It has been a fun challenge to undertake.
It was a unique way of learning new things. I enjoyed the learning process while gaining a lot of new knowledge and fun experience. It was a very interactive process where the whole team of She-Codes was there to help.
The course was very easy to follow. The buildup and challenges were very achievable. There were some challenges but nothing that can result in "rage quitting". Highly recommended if you want to get get your toes wet in the world of coding!
I'm glad I've chosen to join the team SheCodes for learning web-programming online. It has been fun, interesting, challenging and engaging. Everything in this workshop is just perfect organized. I knew nothing about coding before this course. In only 3 weeks I learnt basic skills and built my own page from scratch. There is still a lot to learn, but now I know what the coding world is about. Now I know for sure that I definitely want a job tech related.
I had a lot of fun learning everything from the ground up. I like the structure of the classes and I can't wait to get started on my own projects!

Have learned so much about html, css, and javascript. Concepts I didn't understand before were made much more clear! Great course to take. Project was challenging, but an excellent way to work on concepts learned throughout the course.
The React workshop was very challenging and rewarding. I thoroughly enjoyed this course and am sad it's over, but I am so grateful for my new skills and for the wonderful experience SheCodes gave me. Matt's teaching style is very easy to follow and the help I received on Slack was outstanding. I highly recommend all of the SheCodes workshops!

When I discovered this workshop, I was directly attracted to it and I have absolutely no regrets. This workshop is very well done. Because of my background, I knew "more scientific" programming languages, but here I was able to discover a whole other side of computer programming. The Plus course was well structured. The level was high, nevertheless really fun to learn new topic each week. The weekly homework allow you to apply what was learned directly on your own project which was really helpful. Overall you get a good insight into what coding/front-end development is all about. Thank you for this fun experience and I would love to continue coding.
This second workshop was interesting and I definitely learn new things and got deeper into the coding world. The only note that I have is that the lesson's materials weren't updated and some of them were misleading. Overall my impression is that the first introduction part was more well designed and organized. But overall I'm glad that I took this second workshop, now I have more knowledge to navigate on my own
I definitely enjoyed this 3-week course. Its structured so that it is easy to follow and self-paced, the way that it is taught also makes it such a fun process. I found it very interesting and challenging and I learnt so much. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants an introduction to web development or even who just wants to try something new.

I found the SheCodes 3-week self-paced class to be really easy to fit into a very busy life. I took this class alongside a friend to have some accountability and it's been great to be able to bounce ideas off and work with each other. If I didn't have this, there is a huge Slack channel of folks to reach out to and collaborate with, which is awesome! I loved the material we learned and the freedom of the last assignment. I'd recommend this to anyone who is code-curious and has been waiting to take a plunge and make the commitment. You can do it! We can all do it!

Loved the easy to follow bite-size lessons which I could fit comfortably around work and family. The assignments were challenging at times (in a good way) but the support from the other ladies in the group was great.
I tried a few other "learn how to code" websites. I frustrated immediately on a few and learned through a free trial on a few others. This website has been detailed, informative and super helpful! I started knowing very little and feeling very overwhelmed! It wasn't until after I watched a ten-minute video of him building a website and me able to follow along with the majority of the steps, that I realized I didn't feel overwhelmed at all! This course is great for women just getting into coding to see if you like the process!
I'm not sure I have learned a lot in areas beyond HTML and CSS. The course provides some useful insights, but Javascript is about coding and this course doesn't teach you how to code at all. I've learned a few tricks, but I was hoping to learn how to code front-end applications and I haven't. I've learned how to search for resources I need and "copy/paste", but not to think like a programmer.
It has been a very challenging and yet rewarding experience. It feels very empowering to be able to build your own weather app (me few months ago did not believe that it was even possible π)! Consistent, logical and user friendly structure of the workshop and the ability to practice along the way all helped my learning journey. Huge thanks to Matt and the team and I look forward to SheCodes React!

I learnt a little bit of code when a I was a teenager and this workshop help me to remember all of it. I really enjoyed the challenges and the opportunity to discover another career path. It was challenging in some areas but so satisficing when you make it work! Highly recommend!

I'm stunned at how much I've learned in three short weeks! The class is really well structured with easy to understand videos. I was skeptical at first just because I have tried, many times, to learn something about coding but it seemed nobody could teach me in a simple, fast, clear way. I am SOOO happy I chose SheCodes, I feel so good about It, I couldn't believe I was learning so easily a subject I always found impossibile.
I enjoyed every second of Matt's lessons. Coding used to be super scary to me. I never thought I would be creating and understanding code. The most amazing thing is becoming part of this community of women empowered to enter the world of coding and supporting other women get there as well.
All the content from the workshop is easy to digest and makes the learning process fun. I also appreciate that this course really empowers you to learn and doesn't treat this subject as something out of this world. The way the lessons & challenges are structured couldn't be better, it allows you to really learn and be able to finally create something of your own. I highly recommend it.
What a wonderful journey it was with SheCodes. It was not easy. But i am happy that one day i had this first introduction class that brought me to this moment. Looking forward to develop my new skill and take new chances and opportunities that awaiting ahead. :)

This class was a breeze to do all online. The videos were easy to follow and kept learning interesting. SheCodes made expanding my technical skillset in the limited time I had available feel easy.
It's been a fun few weeks doing the course! went from 0 knowledge to understanding the basics of html, css and javascript. It's been a great experience as a first interaction with front end developing.
I would certainly recommend SheCodes. After having been interested in programming for a while, I followed a course but I got stuck on JavaScript. I didn't want to give up so I decided to give it one last try. Thanks to SheCodes, I now 'understand' JavaScript: I can see the logic behind it. The explanations are very good and you can practice everything immediately by doing the tests. All in all, I really liked this course.

It's embarrassing but I was Java developer 10 years ago...π , and now I am on business side for my professional career. However, the background of "Tech + Business" have become my advantage. The technology is always evolving, and it is hard to catch up all the time if there is less opportunities like my current situation to leverage its skillset. I won't say this round of SheCodes was easy but it is definitely satisfying at the end! Getting to see an app work, that you built and understand how it works, is really exciting. I can't wait to share what I learned and keep tinkering around with APIs.

Being introduced to the Coding's World was very challenging and exciting for me. As a Graphic Designer, it's been clear how important to be up-to-date with a new skill to improve yourself professionally. This was a really fun course, definitely challenging and frustrating at times, but I had a lot of fun working on the homeworks and the final project. Matt really takes you through it step by step and when it all started to click it felt amazing! Highly recommended.

As a complete newbie to coding, I was sceptical about spending money on something I might not enjoy, but I was surprised how creative coding can be! I like how interactive the course is and that you are challenged instead of spoon-fed, though help is there if you need it.
SheCodes Plus allows you to go much deeper in your knowledge, especially with JavaScript! It was much more challenging than the workshop!
I really enjoyed the course. Matt broke down the process into the small steps technique, which is really effective and I believe the only way to teach people and to make them love at the same time. I like to create and innovate and experience new things and of course learning languages , which method is similar to coding, ( i had to realize!). It did open up new doors for me to create. Thank you for organizing this course Matt!

Great class ! I learned a lot in week 1, I wish there was a bit more coding lessons in week 3.. Week 3 felt more like a recap of the other 2 weeks.
What a journey! I spent many years trying to teach myself how to make a website. I spend countless hours researching how to do this. In the amount of time that I kept trying to make a completely functional site. I became a Financial Educator started building my business from the ground up. I thought I had my life figured out. Once the pandemic hit. Everything changed and I want to embrace that change with all that I have. It's been almost a year now. Thanks to SheCodes the time it took me to learn how to make a site has been so much less. In 3 weeks I'm able to make something functional and beautiful. The skills I have learned could truly take me places while adding to my current career and opportunity is in the air again. I'm excited to continue with the next two courses and I can't wait for what the future has in store for me.
