I strongly recommend this workshop, I am looking forward to starting my SheCods plus.

I've been having a pretty busy and challenging life, but SheCodes has made it possible for me to add coding to my habilities. I still have a lot to learn, but these 3 weeks have taught me that coding is something fun, creative and can be learnt even if you study and have a day job. Thank you so much for making this kind of fun, simple and still challenging learning possible for so many people!

Wow! I've learned so much! I love how fast paced this is. And I love all the small lessons before the big homework assignment.

I've learned that there are no barriers to learning. This experience challenged me to explore something new. I'm an undergraduate Biological Sciences student with the University of Maryland, College Park. With zero background in coding, my curiosity drove me to take this course during my winter break in a pandemic. The SheCodes 3 week workshop was just right for a beginner like me. I learned more than I expected while having fun 😃. Thank you!

I ❤️ the course! I found each lesson super engaging and clear, and the challenges very helpful to put into practice every learning. The course is very well-structured and gives you a good introduction to HTML, CSS, and JS. This is not the first time I try to pick up coding, but the first where I could actually build something on my own and understand what I was doing. SheCodes workshops eliminate common misconceptions about coding. Thanks to this platform I found out web development can be very creative and fun to learn. BIG THUMBS UP 👍🏻👍🏻 to Matt and his team for creating these videos and for all their support during the classes. I've found a new passion and I am ready 💪🏻to continue gaining more knowledge in Javascript 👩🏼‍💻and front-end web development.

I had the best time in this class. The way it's laid out, it's so easy to go back over the materials. It was actually fun seeing my creations come alive online and it was great for me being able to go at my own pace. Can't wait to see what comes next!

So thankful I ended up taking SheCodes Plus. I can't believe I can actually build a website from scratch and that I developed a weather app myself! What a rewarding feeling. Coding is a great skill to have.

I never thought learning code would be so fun...not easy though! Matt explains everything but you really need to commit. If you have a full time job as I, you may need to plan ahead. But for real the structure, the content and the homework is to the point, not to mention the exceptional support in Slack app. Thumbs up! 😁

I've really enjoyed my SheCodes journey from the beginners course to completing my React project. I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn to code!

Great fun learning React

Get out of your comfort zone, try something new and challenge yourself to learn the basics of front-end development. The classes are clearly structured and take you one step at a time through the logic of building a website. Thank you for this great course!

Great workshop with tons of content and a lot of fun!

Even if so far I learnt only the basics, I have to admit it's already helping in me in better orientating myself in my current role - definitely recommended!

I didn't know anything about coding before this workshop. It helped me to gain valuable coding skills in a fun and encouraging way. I would highly recommend this workshop.

I will say this again, shecodes is a fantastic course. There is nothing quite like it. I have taken many coding courses in the past for school and none of them were as fun or effective as shecodes. I highly recommend shecodes for anyone who is interested to learn. Shecodes is very easy to learn, has great support and overall is really fun.

I enjoyed learning REACT and I wish to learn more. This has been a great journey of learning for me, it's not easy but it's worth all the effort.

SheCodes offers a very encouraging way of learning how to code - with a clearly structured curriculum, well prepared material and excellent support. Every aspect of learning is brought in: watching how to code, coding it yourself, connecting the dots between the lessons and communicating about what you do. You can easily integrate the courses in your own schedule and - of course - coding's a lot of fun! 😁

If you like learning new skills then SheCodes Workshop is definitely for you, it's extremely challenging but the effort is worth it. I strongly recommend this workshop.

Fun and challenging course! Satisfying to see a React course come together.

The course has opened a new door for me. I had a lot of fun to learn Html, CSS and Java Script. I enjoyed to do the weekly challenges and to code my final project. Matt's style of teaching makes it easy to understand the basics of coding and to follow the SheCodes-course. Looking forward to go to the next step.

The pandemic made me think a lot about my past, my present and my future. I felt that I need a change in my life and I was not sure what until that night when the SheCodes ad just popped up on my phone. I joined the free lection next morning and I knew immediately that this is something I would love to do. Here I am 3 months later grateful and happy for this opportunity, the knowledge I earned and I am looking forward to the new beginnings.

Wow, in 2 weeks I learned more on JSS, CSS and HTML that I did in a year at high school. Can't wait to pursue this course.

I knew nothing about coding before taking this workshop, but the way it is set up is not intimidating at all! You can go at your own pace, and there is very little stress/pressure. It is all about learning the material. I feel so much more confident because of it, and I would highly recommend it.

My name is Emily. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering with Aeronautics at the University of Strathclyde. I work part-time as a Mathematics and English tutor. I decide to join SheCodes to further develop my understanding of coding.

I thoroughly enjoyed the SheCodes Workshops and I am glad I've signed up to them! I am a beginner when it comes to coding but I found the delivery was great and easy to understand. They were sectioned into bitesize tutorials with the right amount of learning, practice and challenges so that you do not feel completely overwhelmed or demotivated. This has been an incredibly interesting and stimulating course, and I'm both surprised and proud to say that coding with JavaScript doesn't seem so scary anymore. Learning about professional workflow has also been really helpful. I'm really pleased with how far I've come since I started with SheCodes.

It's been a great course! I wouldn't have thought to learn so much already in only 3 weeks. Nor did I think that I would enjoy it so much but I did and I definitely want to continue my coding / programming journey. Thanks Matt & team! The explanations are very clear and they answer your questions really fast via Slack. Doing it on my own pace but still having deadlines in order not to keep pushing it forward is the right way for me to study. Keep up the great work SheCodes :)

If you're planning on learning React JS from zero, I'd totally recommend this workshop. Not only teach you some basic and essentials stuff to build a nice professional-looking app, but they also encourage your confidence to feel comfortable using React, which is not an easy subject to learn (at least for me). So thank you again, Matt and SheCodes team!

Very nice workshop. I had a lot fun learning coding and enjoyed the Final Project so much.

Completing the SheCodes classes have really helped me communicate my UI designs to our dev team. It was super fun to be able to actually see a project through 100% on my own from designing it to coding. Because the class only required a few hours a week, I was able to complete the classes while working a full-time job. I was having so much fun, I ended up putting more time than required anyways! 👏

Matt has a great way of taking big things and breaking them down into something very understandable and not overwhelming at all. Enjoyed learning!

The lessons are broken into bite-sized concepts which makes it easy to focus on small details. If you are prepared to view the videos multiple times and restart your codes, you will acquire precious knowledge that gives you confidence to take on the modern world.

When I lost my job due to the pandemic, I saw opportunity to learn a new skill. A developer friend of mine always suggested I learn to code, so I took her advice and found SheCodes. I am amazed at how much I learned in such a short time! While I don't intend to pursue a career in software engineering, I am prodigiously proud of the skills I learned, and I know it has set me up to better communicate with developers I work with in the future.

This course has been an eye opener to what i am capable of doing. I have thoroughly enjoyed the first part of the course and eager to learn more from the next two courses.

I would highly recommend the SheCodes workshop! This is good if you have never done any coding before, and have always wanted to try it! The lessons are explained very well and if you need help you can always ask on Slack.

For someone that is not so tech savvy, this workshop has taught me a lot in just 3 weeks. The videos were straight to the point and the challenges after each lesson were really helpful. I can proudly tell people I have coding knowledge and I will be better at it soon after the coding +react workshop. I am looking forward for the next challenge!

I took this class to look into whether coding was something that would interest me. I loved the self-paced timeline of the program. I also really enjoyed that each homework assignment left you with a bit of a challenge that you were not taught, so you had to do some experimenting/digging to figure it out! Excited for what is next!

I highly recommend the SheCodes workshops. It is explained very clearly, content is spread in short sequences and the final project gives not only the opportunity to exercise the new learnt know-how but also to be creative.

I currently work as a language teacher. Due to the challenging situation of the past year, distance learning techniques and technologies included, I grew interested in the topic of coding. I am also an athlete, and my final project represents a way in which I could put coding skills in play to promote the sport I practice. I am generally a curious person and I like challenges, therefore, I took the opportunity SheCodes gave me. I am very impressed by the results, and I am considering coding as the key for a second career path.

SheCodes React was another great workshop from SheCodes. The most challenging one, that is for sure, but I think Matt did a great job explaining React. I would highly recommend the course to everybody who wants to start working with this framework.

I have learned a lot in 3 weeks and enjoyed it more than I thought. I was initially a little apprehensive about how I would find the course because I was always under the impression coding was very difficult to learn from the outset, but I realize now that is just misinformation we sometimes hear! It was surprisingly easy to understand once broken down into manageable lessons and great teaching. I recommend this to everyone and say don't be put off or intimidated by the idea of coding. SheCodes is a very good platform to learn how to code for beginners. Challenges after the lessons is very helpful way to practise. The teaching method in the videos is great!! First, he shows the basic method and then gradually goes the advance. Very very recommendable for absolut beginners.

I've learned so much in this challenging and fast-paced course. It brought me from complete beginner to here. I can't wait to see what the future holds for me in web development. This course was only the beginning!

Awesome coding course! So much fun!

This workshop helped to de-mystify the coding world for me! I feel empowered and like a true badass having been able to work through the homework assignments and the final project.

After finishing the beginner workshop I decided to continue with SheCodes Plus, in order to gain more knowledge and skills of the coding world. This was a difficult course but very fulfilling and I'm excited to progress onto SheCodes Reacts. Would highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to develop their skills in coding.

This program is really good for Beginners, it gives a really good basic to understand whats HTML, CSS, JS, and React. I really did enjoy the whole process of learning, but there is still a lot to learn and dive into JS. In General Big Thanks to Matt Delac and his supporters 🙏 😊 🎉🎉🎉

Learning JS was intimidating at first. Fortunately, Matt broke down the methods in baby steps to better concept the idea behind it. As a quick learner, I have to say; this was quite challenging. In the end, I'm starting to feel more confident in combining HTML, CSS, and JS.

I enjoyed this course very much. It's a great introduction to coding. It tastes like more!

This was a really smart, fun and easy way to learn. React is so much easier to work with than I first thought. I am looking forward to working with JavaScript and React in the future.
