The SheCodes workshop was very well structured, with step-by-step videos that explain everything in an easy to understand way. The challenges were crucial for the understanding of the lessons and very fun to do! I really liked the SheCodes workshop and I am looking forward to continue my journey of learning code!
It was an okay course, but not worth the money.
When I first looked at a code years ago I said to myself that is impossible for me to do that. Well, I did it. Matt has excellent teaching skills and his way of explaining everything made it easy to understand and follow. I am looking forward to continuing learning with SheCodes PLUS and SheCodes PLUS REACT.

Earlier in the year I started teaching myself to code from free online resources but quickly realized I needed a more structured lesson plan. That's when I saw SheCodes and decided to try it. It's been a great course! The lessons are easy to follow and the challenges are a great way to make sure you fully understand the topic before moving on to the next lesson. It's been a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to people just starting out with coding!
SheCodes is a great way for women to learn a lot about coding in a short amount of time. Must be very disciplined to teach yourself much of the coursework. It is very rewarding in the end and I feel I have learned many skills that I was too intimidated to even think about before.
The SheCodes Course was very easy to follow and we were given easy to follow instructions. From a beginner point of view, I feel like I have gained som awesome skills for my future development.

I'm normally someone that works on the creative end and have always been curious about coding but was always too intimidated to try. This workshop made learning to code approachable and fun.
I believe this is one of the best online platforms to learn how to code, the basics of coding and the syntaxes of some of the most used programming languages. The idea is great, and the way that Matt teaches is really reasonable to understand. I totally recommended it.

Since I started working as an IT Recruiter and found out about all the IT world I've always wanted to be part of it, not only by understanding the technologies, terms, and theoretical knowledge but to actually being able to code. SheCodes gave me the amazing opportunity of proving myself I can do anything I put my mind to. The greatest part is that you don't even have to have a B.S. as a software engineer to actually learn to code!
I've been trying to get into computer programming for ages but always found with other online resources that I didn't know what to do once I got stuck. SheCodes has been amazing because Matt breaks everything down in a really easy to understand way, and if I ever run into trouble there's always someone on hand to help out! Highly recommend it!
I was expecting to learn a little bit more of the languages, but i already knew them, so my expectations were high. I think that we should have learned more in this last week, because we didn't learn anything new in this last week. Besides that it was a very good experience, the classes are amazing, easy to understand and to learn correctly code.

I am the kind of person who generally has no computer skills whatsoever and struggle to even convert a file to a pdf, so the thought of learning to code seemed daunting. However this course has honestly been so enlightening. The weekly projects keep me coming back and the videos you can go back to at any time are so useful. I would 100% recommend this course to anyone wanting a taster into coding. It has made me reconsider what I want to do next in life!

A good intro to coding. The lessons are easy to follow and Matt talks through everything clearly and gives examples. I like being able to actually deliver a final project from scratch and put into use what I learnt, it gives a real sense of achievement.

I've always had a broad range of interests and skills. I graduated from university in 2015 and have since worked in investment portfolio management. When I was in middle school, I loved blogging and taught myself how to use hmtl/css in order to make my blog look pretty. I came to really enjoy working on my blog because I've always been an artist and I liked how creative you can be. I never really spent much time thinking about pursuing coding further or even a career. This is mostly because my understanding of coding was very limited and I assumed you would need to study computer science in order to be good at it. Enrolling in SheCodes has helped me correct my misunderstanding of coding and now I better understand that it is a skill that anyone can learn. Matt's classes helped me pick up html/css very easily. This class has made me realize that I miss working with my creative side and that I enjoy coding.
Really hard and funny job for this project, but this course develops many programming skills.
SheCodes is very thorough in the way they teach every lesson. If you get stuck there are always multiple resources and ways you can get assistance. Would recommend to literally everyone at any level!
This workshop was very informativ with lots of tasks. I like the fact that I was asked to find out different things by myself without being able to sneak into the solution. It really helps you to remember your codes. Overall it was amazing and I am looking forward to more courses.
I fell in love with coding in the introductory course, now in the Plus, I was able to develop much more skills and create a weather app in the end! It was awesome to build something from scratch! Because we build little by little every week it is much more stimulating than most online courses that just give you classes and at the end you need to do a big project from zero. SheCodes approach is much better and more exciting for learning! Looking forward to React!

Matt's instruction is easy to understand and follow, I was intrigued by this on the free workshop and registered on the same day. However, without the support from the technical consultant, his name is Jaoz, in SlackChat, my motivation bubble would have deflated tremendously. Nothing is more depressed than when you wanted to venture out to things that is not introduced yet and got stuck there in your own mess and no one but you shed any lights onto how to untangle it.
Would definitely recommend to anyone, especially if you are just starting out in coding.
This was a really easy to follow and well-structured course. Being able to access the solutions and examples throughout the course, as well as having on-demand walkthroughs, was incredibly helpful when developing the final project. I'm looking forward to learning more with future SheCodes courses.

The SheCodes+ React Workshop was truly eye-opening. Matt has framed these lessons in such a great way that of course, while still very challenging, I was able to learn and understand everything that was being taught or demonstrated. Coding was completely another world for me until i watched first lesson of Matt Delac. SheCodes made it incredibly easy for me to meet this new world. Even though i had really limited time to study, lessons was really easy to follow.

Over a year ago I took basic HTML classes at school and I realized coding is something I really enjoy, but I never had the time to properly learn. Amazing workshop!
It's not a peace of cake to deal with as a beginner studying programming language specially with zero background. But getting in into this coding workshop brings and developed my new skills how to deal with it in a very friendly and concise way. All the way to React from the two previous coding workshop is a huge achievement for me. Thanks to all Shecodes staff for being so warmth helping every students when came across dealing difficulties on every coding exercises.
The online workshop is a great introduction for first-time coders. I have previously tried going the self-taught path and found this course to be so much more helpful. The lessons and videos are easy to follow, especially if you are more of a visual learner. It's been a great stepping stone experience and I look forward to continuing my education in coding!

I overall had a great time completing this course! Everything is easy to understand. The content in the videos is explained very thoroughly, but even if you don't completely understand something, there are people who are more than happy to help you. I loved learning HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, and even though this course only taught the basics, I feel that I can already do so much with what I've learned. I'd definitely recommend this course to a friend!

I loved these last 3 weeks. I had previous knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS before joining SheCodes, but this was the most hands on I have been with a class. It was exactly what I was looking for, and it was awesome! The video courses, challenges, and homework were so much fun to do - and I'm ending this first workshop with more confidence, and a better understanding of the basics of coding! Can't wait to code more!

I always have had an affinity for software but never had the chance to learn about it in depth. I decided to take the chance to learn the basics and I have to say it has been a great experience... expected it to be way more complex! Of course, there is a long way ahead but I am super glad I took this chance to learn the basics with Matt, he makes it very simple and easy to follow. Can't wait to practice more and learn further.

SheCodes has taught me things I NEVER thought I could even look at and not freak out. These 3 weeks have been really fun, despite the challenges. I would recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to try something different and so relevant to the era we live in. I look forward to moving forward in this course and I genuinely believe that once I am certified by SheCodes, I will be able to work as a Front End developer.

Totally amazed. When i first took the example class, i was dazzled. The instructor made coding look so easy that I couldnβt believe it. I thought you needed to be a mini Einstein in order to know how to code. I was reluctant but I gave it a shot with the 3 week workshop and I am glad I did. The workshop was easy to understand, and the challenges really helped to practice what was taught in the lessons. It has been really enjoyable, and I'm excited to use everything I've learnt moving forward.
SheCodes Plus was a beautiful challenge. There were ups and down in trying to understand Javacript but the videos, the Slack channel and the challenges really help develop the skill the right way. The final project it is a great way to really put everything together and test your mindset and skills. I couldn't recommend it more.
It's been great learning something new and picking up a new skill outside of work. Glad I've found something I'm interested in and I'm able to continue learning more.

I came into SheCodes workshop knowing without any knowledge of html, css and javascript. I really enjoyed these pass 3 weeks. I feel like I learned a lot and I just want to learn more.I really liked the videos and all the help that is offered during the workshops. I took this workshop to see if coding is something I could do and thanks to SheCodes, I know now that I can make a career change in the direction I want.

I was very skeptical about choosing a coding course to enroll in especially one online because I wasn't sure if it was trustworthy. But I decided to take a chance and invest in myself and I'm so grateful I did! This course is very accessible and the intimidation I felt of not being able to understand the material was completely dissolved after the first lesson. You're not given hours long lectures but are immediately given a wealth of knowledge and the tools to be on your way. Thank you Matt!

I love how the classes were divided, allowing each lesson to build on the fundamentals you are continually learning. I only knew enough coding "to be dangerous" before this course -- learning with purpose and direction was perfect to really make the concepts stick. I am so much more confident in my ability to create and troubleshoot!

This was my first class in 6 years so I was definitely worried I would struggle, but Matt made it so that I was actually relaxed and able to ENJOY myself while learning a completely new skill. If you're even thinking about it, just commit!
I came to SheCodes after a careful analysis of everything the internet offered to learn coding. Matt and his method won me over: the course was pleasant, intense, and although there was so much to learn, the method used make simple topics perhaps complex for those who don't know anything about it. I would definitely do it again, and I feel I can recommend it to anyone looking for a guide to learning the beauty of coding!
Good for beginners
It was one on the most challenging courses I've ever been. After a lot of study and try everything, I did my first weather app by myself from scratch following all instructions and advices from Matt. Thank you very much for this experience. Now I have more knowledge to improve my current job as Marketing Automation specialist. I can create my own landing pages, use JS to create specific parameters in the forms and more. Thanks!
I've learned about html and css in the past but this workshop really helped bring it all together. It was also a perfect introduction to javascript. Its motivating and fun to see what you can create after just a few hours!

Matt is an excellent teacher. I found the coursework layout easy to process. The approach is (IMHO) the best way to learn anything: 1. Here is the demo. 2. Do it. 3.
