SheCodes was an easy but challenging course, that kept my mind going in lockdown.
Taking part in the 3 week SheCodes program gave me an amazing foundation in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript! The lessons were digestible and the challenges were extremely helpful along the way! I'd recommend SheCodes to anyone who's interested in expanding their technical skills, and I will definitely continue onto the advanced courses! Thanks SheCodes 😁
At the first I was scary about the programing languages and all the codes. But when I start it, it becomes more interesting and fun. And it helpsme to improove my knowledge about english, so I'm really happy with this first three weeks.

I was always intrigued by the world of coding, but it looked so hard to learn. I took the free workshop kind of as a joke because I never thought I could learn such a complex language. But then once I saw how Matt taught, I realized I might be able to do it! I absolutely loved everything about how this course was taught. The step-by-step videos, the little tasks at the end of each topic, and the breakdown of coding was so helpful. I am so happy I took this course, and I can proudly say I learnt a new skill. :) Thanks SheCodes!
A self-paced course that goes through the basics of creating a landing page with HTML, CSS and Javascript. Very structured, and with all necessary resources – in just 3 weeks I'm miles ahead of where I would have been on my own!

SheCodes was an excellent introduction to coding. Each week and lesson was structured in an understandable and engaging way. I, personally, enjoyed the homework tasks as it kept you motivated and committed to learning more!! I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to begin their coding journey!
I absolutely enjoyed doing the SheCodes Plus workshop. I learn so much in 8 weeks. I know there is still more to explore but the fact that I was able build a functioning weather app and learning about how to use an API, I just want to start coding more and continue learning.

After I had to leave my old team in Manchester, I searched for new inspiration to improve my Web Design skills and work more towards Front End Development. I really like the way the course has been built and how Matt is explaining everything is very engaging (I won't forget anymore to press the button on the coffee machine, ha!). This was the perfect next step after SheCodes Plus, I feel like I expanded my knowledge and was able to get more comfortable with coding in general in addition to experiencing a great introduction to React. Overall the structure of the class is really easy to follow, the videos are just long enough to show the concepts but not so long as to be overwhelming and Matt is great at explaining things in a comprehensive and accessible way. I can't wait to learn even more and I hope to be able to break into a tech career soon using the knowledge I gained from all my SheCodes classes!

In as little as 3 weeks, I went from knowing almost nothing about building a webpage to having my own. No matter how big or small, I did that. You can do this too.

The lessons broke everything down so well and every lesson from the beginning was applied in a challenge so that you could practice at every point. You learn something every step of the way. As someone who had no experience with coding at all, this was a doable yet challenging workshop to participate in! I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone.

SheCodes is the best! I began as a novice with the intro to coding class and quickly fell in love with coding through Matt's easy-to-follow videos and Joao's helpful support on challenges and homework. After graduating from the intro workshop, I immediately enrolled in SheCodes Plus and then SheCodes React. Improving my coding literacy and building the weather app project from scratch has been such an empowering experience. If the SheCodes team ever offers courses on any other coding languages, I will be first in line to sign up!
SheCodes is an excellent resource for aspiring coders looking to start at a beginner's level. Each lesson was so insightful! With SheCodes Plus, the coding finally gets real! You build your first complex project, which is super satisfying. I won't lie; there are also frustrating moments––but Matt's step-by-step explanations and João's constant support really help to keep the frustration at bay. I learned a lot and can't wait to start with React!

I never thought I would of been able to code ! Lessons are short but complete so you don't feel overwhelmed, and Matt's explanations are very clear ! It's such a wonderful language to learn, and I feel so proud. After 3 weeks, I feel like I have accomplished so much ! I'll be joining React+, because I am thinking about changing my career :)

I had never had someone explaining things as clear as Matt did during his webinar. Loved the way he teaches! After that I signed up to the course and it is truly straight forward. I highly recommend this to someone that wants to try how the coding works and also to people that are not devs but want to complement their knowledge (like my case as an Analyst).
Really enjoyed every step from begginers class to React. This months past so quickly! At the beginning I wasn't sure if this "coding thing 😆" is for me at all but every lesson gave me more confidence and was so easy to follow and nicely explained. Easy to understand the course and great for beginners. I wish there would be another course between the beginner 3 weeks course and the 8 weeks course. there is too big of a gap between 100 euro and 750 euro. A advanced beginners course would be great in between these 2 courses.

SheCodes is hands down the best workshop I've come across. Learning the basics was extremely easy, and you are given the resources need if you find yourself stuck. Plus, there are discounts if you are currently a student, which makes it easier to afford while giving you an opportunity to start your coding journey. I made it work as a full-time student, and so can you. You can do it!

Had a great time learning the basics. Definitely is a challenging coarse but the recorded lessons are so useful so I can learn on my own time (while juggling a full time job). Matt keeps it fun!
Rebecca Temerario worked for 12 years in the bookselling and publishing industry as a communications, events, social media, and marketing manager. When COVID-19 hit, her position was unfortunately eliminated. As a graduate of a Master's Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, Rebecca knew how integral HTML & CSS are to digital marketing concepts such as SEO- and wanted to use her time between opportunities wisely. SheCodes Plus helped me to understand how applications are created! I did not know that APIs such as OpenWeather existed. I've always wanted to code my own application, so it was motivating to code and design a weather application! It was also helpful to expand on HTML, CSS and JavaScript coding skills. Really loved this workshop! Matt's videos were simple and concise and very informative without giving that feeling of being overwhelmed. The workshop itself was a reasonable price. There were certain "challenges" that were definitely challenges and google becomes your friend, personally I would do a quick google search and MDN offers a solution but rarely a well explain explanation, here comes SLACK. It was a great place for all of us to bounce our ideas off one another and ask for help for challenges, homework, and the project. Very helpful! There's a sense of pride whenever you complete a challenge or homework and I love that. Coding is also very impressive to those who aren't at all into the world of coding, so to show someone your entire code they're completely floored by it all haha! Would recommend this course to anyone interested in coding.

In SheCodes plus I began to realise the power of what a few lines of code can really do in JavaScript! It is a jump up from the introductory course for sure, but as always the support is amazing. This class was so fun! Challenging at times but help was always available. Learning the basics made me feel a lot more confident with coding going forward and I would highly recommend.
I have decided that in 2020 I was going to learn everything I've always wanted. Coding was one of those things. I started with a free course, but it was very complicated and fast, so I gave it up. Browsing through internet, I came across SheCodes and watched the free class. By the end of it I was enrolled in the workshop and started it a few days later. It was the best decision ever. Matt is a great instructor, very available and the course is well thought, it is not difficult and you can really learn and apply it. I can't wait to start the next workshop!

I have really enjoyed learning and creating amazing websites. I would recommend this for anyone to give it a try. All the sessions are easy to understand and the support group is amazing thing to have. This is definitely a skill worth having!
SheCodes is a school with good pedagogy, the courses are well structured and explained. There is a lot of practice such as homework and projects. There are good communication and atmosphere between teachers and classmates. I recommend this coding school if you want to learn well how to code or if you want to deepen your knowledge.
This three week journey has been a great way to introduce myself to coding and coding to myself. I have enjoyed every step of the way, for me it was not easy but it was fun, educational and rewarding. I feel eager to learn more, my mantra became eat, pray, code... ;-)
This workshop has taught me so much about coding that I did not know before. It was very easy to make time throughout the week to complete the lessons and homework. It was something I very much would look forward to doing as well. I was not sure if coding was something I was going to be interested in but I am glad that I signed up for the workshop as it really gave me the time and opportunity to see if it was something I wanted to do.

This SheCodes Beginner workshop was great!!! I liked that it was self-paced so I learned at my own pace/time but that motivated me to stay on top of the lessons weekly. The challenges at the end of the lessons were a good way to put into practice what Matt taught. Overall, I think this workshop is a great place to start and it's definitely peaked my interest in coding. I'm really happy & proud of the page I put together for my final project.
