Highly recommended to anyone wishing to learn some basics on coding or anyone looking for a refresher. I've tried to teach myself some coding before, but it's different having someone to teach you and knowing that you have support when you get stuck on something. What I love about SheCodes is that it's more practical and doesn't give too much emphasis on theories. From working in a tech company, what you need more is the practical application and not the theories. I really enjoyed this workshop, and so I'd definitely recommend it!
SheCodes Plus gave me a really complete overview of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. By understanding the fundamental rules and concepts, I am now able to come up with ideas of my own. The classes were very clear and I received very reliable support on Slack!
From literally zero basics to my small projects in three weeks, I've made a lot of progress, all thanks to the great concepts and effective teachings of SheCodes. Can't wait for my next new course!
I really enjoyed this course. I wanted to start programming for a long time not necessary for web design, but for other programming languages that are more used in my field. Nevertheless the course was so intense that it kept me awake for some nights and was proud for each little step I got further. Both thumbs up, totally worth it.

In my search looking for a way to start with coding one of my colleagues suggested SheCodes. I started the workshop 3 weeks ago and really enjoyed every lesson. It is built in such a way that you gradually grow into building a code with HTML, CSS and JS. I am now considering also following the SheCodes Plus workhop. I can really recommand this very user friendly workshop.

SheCodes made it so easy for me to learn the basics of coding! It was a lot of fun and so well explained, for everyone to understand and to implement new learnings immediately. The 3 weeks went by so fast and I am super happy that I signed up in first place! I was able to get a pretty clear understanding of web developement in general, which was never anything to think, I could possibly learn or even have fun with doing.

A great course for beginners. I got to explore a lot of the basics behind the 3 languages and experiment with various functionalities. Also, very interesting and interactive setup. I enjoyed particularly the exercises at the end of each lesson, that was a true added value.

SheCodes Workshop provided me with the tools needed to confidently begin my personal coding journey through Matt's teaching style & at your own pace course structure.
React was a challenge at times but it makes things so much more efficient in the end! I loved the experience of rebuilding my weather site using React components and will continue to play with it even after finishing the workshop.

This was a very accessible coding course! The workshops were a managable work load divided into small steps, which made completing it easier. I felt much more confident with my coding. I think the weekly homeworks keep you on top of things and it's nice to have a project at the end! I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants an introduction to coding!

Coding and things like bootstrap or GitHub can be very overwhelming at first but Matt does an amazing job in teaching the learnings very well with an effective mix of theoretical, explanatory videos and practical exercises. I took the 3 weeks beginners course it was amazing experience. Definitively it gave me the confidence to continue this career path. Matt Delac is an awesome instructor. The SheCodesPlus workshops helped me to set up strong JavaScript fundamentals and made me more confident for what's coming next. The pace was intense but it allowed me to practice more. The lessons are well balanced in terms of knowledge and challenge and there is always someone to assist you when you struggle. I highly recommand this workshop to anyone who wants to learn JavaScript in a fun and challenging way.

I couldn't be happier with SheCodes. The speed of every class is perfect: Matt explains everything step by step, he makes very clear why each piece of code is important, and his classes are full of tips on how to clean it up and understand it when you read it again. They are divided by chapters with clear names, so you can always check it and have it right there whenever you have doubts about how you did it the first time. Class after class you can see your evolution and each time you can challenge yourself. In the moments in which I have felt that I couldn't do it (which surprisingly have been only a few), I always have known that I would find an answer either on the internet with the multiple tips and keywords that Matt suggested; in slack with other students who have had the same or very similar problem; or with João's help, as helpful as always!! I really really couldn't be happier! Next step: React!💪
SheCodes workshop has left me feeling more confident in my ability to learn new technical skills. I originally signed up for the course, because I thought coding would be a useful skill to learn if you want to become a UX designer. However, SheCodes has really sparked my interest in coding as more than a means to an end. Coding is really fun! I enjoyed the lessons and it helps that Matt is a great teacher.
