I love SheCodes - these were amazing 3 weeks learning basic coding in a fun and interactive way. I would like to continue this exciting journey when I graduate from my MBA. The knowledge and skills I have gained give me a feeling of empowerment to do more and achieve more. Most of the time I got the feeling of flow and it was hardly possible to distract me from coding and learning - I did not expect to be so thrilled! Thank you for creating such an engaging challenge! I started the SheCodes Workshop without any experience and in three weeks I learned a lot! I really enjoyed all the experience of learning with Matt and all the other girls and I recommend the workshop to all the women that are interested in learning about coding! Completing SheCodes Plus was a challenge to say the least. It took longer than expected with many frustrating moments but was worth absolutely every minute of the time I spent wrecking my brain over my code. I learned a lot and I am looking forward to the next step which is SheCodes React. 🙌🏼
I feel I'm finally finding an option for professional stability in an ever-changing world. Coding is logical and a fun puzzle at the same time.

Knowing how to code has always been something I dreamed of. Every time I tried to learn by myself, I had this difficulty of not knowing where to start and how to keep myself motivated. I found that the SheCodes Workshops are well structured and engaging. You also know what is the next thing you can have to learn and have a peace of mind knowing that if you need help, there are people to whom you can reach out easily.

Complete beginner here! I've tried and failed, start and stopped free coding workshops, and felt convinced I would never get the hang of it. I wasn't cut out for coding. Now, I'm sad it's going to be over! I had so much fun learning from Matt, the tools were amazing and the knowledge feels like a huge stepping stone for me! I was itching to get my two little girls to bed every night these past three weeks so that I could get to my challenges! The project was so fun, I finished it early :) I cannot recommend this enough.
I came in with the most basic knowledge of HTML/CSS. The lessons are never overwhelming, the steps are clear and resources are provided for further assistance. I really appreciate Matt sharing his best practices to keep your code clean and readable. I vetted many workshops before signing up, and SheCodes was equipped with exactly what I wanted to learn.
This was the perfect 3 week course to boost my confidence and create good coding habits. Thank you so much!

Before attending the course i was a little bit nervous to immerse myself into something that is so different and remote from everything i have ever done previously. But after the first lesson my enthusiasm was grown up to 1000%, and i truly believe it's a merit of Matt who has managed to create a great way of teaching which can work for any beginner who really wants to learn. I am so happy i discovered this course!
This course was an eye-opener. I knew nothing about coding before and didn't know how fun it can be. It was also challenging but totally worth it and if you need assistance solving a problem then help is available at any time. So excited to learn more!

I love SheCodes! Before this workshop I had no idea what these language codes were and looking at them on a screen would make me cringe. I'm a biomedical scientist. I finish my degree two years ago, but never found a job as a biomedical scientist in my country, Portugal. So now, I'm looking for new passions, and coding is becoming one of them! This course was very hepfull, because I didn't understant nothing of coding, until now!
I thoroughly enjoyed this course! I found the JavaScript a little tricky but when I spent some time on the lessons and recapped what we had done, it started to click! I found getting up, walking away, having a coffee and returning definitely helps. I think Matt is a great teacher and the admins on Slack were extremely helpful as / when we needed something.
I really enjoyed this SheCodes course and think it has been a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The teaching videos were very clear and the opportunity to do the challenges straight after each video was a great way to put into practice what you had just learned.

As a graphic designer, I was always missing this crucial skill for coding. I am so happy that I found SheCodes to be able to finally round out my skillset. I recently lost my job due to the pandemic and currently working as a part-timer. Because I have vacant time, I looked for a course that not only will fill my vacant time but would also help me professionally. I stumbled SheCodes in LinkedIn and enrolled in. Absolutely recommend SheCodes! I wasn't sure if I wanted to - or even could - learn coding, but these workshops made it extremely easy to learn and put everything into practice. You get the right amount of guidance and support, while still encouraging you to search for the relevant resources.

I had a great time learning and doing all the tasks and projects. I'm satisfied and proud of myself with what I've learned, although I know I'm still learning. It is challenging, but worth every second and effort. So far I have only done my first course and It's impressive how much I can do with undertaking the most basic course at SheCodes. I am so excited to see what do Plus and React have to offer.

First of all, it has been a lot of fun to create by using html, css and JavaScript. I was very scared to dive into the tech world before joining SheCodes. I did a lot of researches on different courses to be a developer but so far, I find this course most suitable for me. Matt 's lecture is so practical and I like the fact we actually "code" instead of going through a lot of theories. I am excited to continue my journey as a developer thanks to SheCodes!

This is a fantastic way to gain some insight into the basics of coding and get stuck into challenges right from the beginning. It allows you to learn and implement side by side which is great!
Loved that the classes, they were really easy to follow and the accessibility of the team on slack or everyone talking through their problems there was really helpful. This has really opened up lots of fun opportunities for me and can't wait to continue learning in the future. 5/5 stars! :)

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing the SheCodes Introduction to Coding Workshop, and I'm very much looking forward to starting SheCodes Plus! Matt explains things clearly, and I think the course set-up is excellent - the challenges are very helpful, the homework is useful for helping cement the new knowledge, and the final project was a fun way of testing my new skills, and starting off my coding portfolio. The Slack community is also very supportive, and it feels so good when you can help others as well. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get into coding, whether you are starting from scratch or have some very basic HTML knowledge like me.

This course has helped me in being able to have more in depth conversations with my web developers. It was not easy but definitely doable for someone with no prior coding knowledge! It is very empowering to be able to turn a bunch of text into a webpage! Thanks Matt!

SheCodes has been an amazing experience and am so happy decided to choose the React course! I had a wonderful time during the workshop. I'm a graduate student in Plant Biology, and I was looking for expanding my skillset during the quarantine. Classes were easy to follow, and the support team on Slack very friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to program, even those without much time on their hands.

SheCodes changed my life! I never thought I could learn to code, especially not online and not in Javascript. It also helped me a lot to develop my patient side and be a more detailed person. It was a great challenge for me, many hours and days suffering but in the end with great satisfaction and very proud of what I have achieved. Thanks Matt and all the people on SheCodes. Great introductory course, I had a little knowledge of HTML but this has given me more insights into how everything fits together and some tools to keep on learning. The community on slack is great and really helpful.
In the past I had a short adventure with coding while my studies and after that experienced I was sure, coding is not something for me. Few years after that experience I decided to give a chance to SheCodes and I'm extremely happy I did! Each SheCodes lesson is explained very well and it makes the whole learning experience fun :) I highly recommend it to anyone, who wants to learn at least basics of coding.
As a someone with very little coding experience the SheCodes workshop was manageable while offering some challenging exercises. The structure and community offered me a sense of direction that was difficult to find on my own.
I didnt knew anything about programming, Tbh i was scared of even thinking abut it , but then I thought that if i want to have better labor opportunities i might as well give it a try , s here i am being fascinated of why i didn't do it before! This work shop is Great for beginners, is very well explained .

Really liked this 3 weeks Workshop. The amount of content of each class is easy to digest and absorb. I was able to remember all the information that I gained and the exercises were really useful and fun to do!
It's quite impressive how in just three weeks coding doesn't feel like a foreign language anymore. It's exciting to think of all the possibilities to apply this new skill to my design work.

I've always wanted to learn to code and with SheCodes, I have! Just a few weeks ago it was a dream, and now it is my life ❤ The workshops and courses are divided and organized into small manageable lessons that anyone can learn from. I had so much fun! The resources and community here are so welcoming, supportive and encouraging! I always had help and got answers to my questions and never felt like my questions were "stupid". I have learned so much and look forward to the next step, with SheCodes Plus! I appreciate the instructor, Matt Delac, for creating such a great tool for women to advance themselves in this field. I am proud that when someone asks my friends what I do - they can say "she codes".

I’m crying with one eye and laughing with the other. I loved this course. And I’m super happy and super proud that I finished the final project. I did it. At the same time this means that I have to say goodbye to SheCodes. And to an amazing journey: So many learnings, so many riddles, so much fun. I can recommend this course with all my heart and to each and every one of you. It’s – I won’t lie – a real piece of work. There are challenges where you’re going to tear your hair out. I took a BIG FAT chance, by seeing an AD somewhere and jumped right into Shecodes because I loved what Shecodes stood for. I'm someone with limited experience and brand new to the field. Just to finally complete the final project and understand the language of coding has been SUPER rewarding for me. The structure of the class didn't always make sense in the beginning, but TRUST the process and the guidance. By the way, Matt's voice is sooooo soothing and easy to follow that I was constantly re-playing his videos without losing focus.
I loved how flexible the program was with time and levels of interactions. As someone who prefers to learn on my own I felt like I had enough resources to reach out if i needed help but also challenged at time same time.

SheCodes is a great way to start learning how to code with ZERO knowledge. I came with a background in E-Commerce, curious to learn what goes into making a website. My education experience is actually in Social Work, so I was definitely intimidated to go into learning something completely different than my previous education experience. SheCodes makes it easy to learn coding at your own pace. They don't walk you through EVERY little thing, but encourage you to do your own research at times during the course. There is an awesome community that helps you with your questions along the way. I did the 3 week course, and am highly contemplating upgrading to the advanced courses. I would recommend it to anybody who feels that coding can be a little daunting, and doesn't know where to start. It's a great tool for the price.
The course is easy to follow and the instructions were very clear and informative. There is a lot to learn within a short period of time and since it is online it requires a lot of self-discipline.
I always love to learn new skills quickly but efficiently and SheCodes offers exactly that! It went quickly but I understood everything pretty well. Now, I want to pursue my love for coding by taking the next workshop that is offered to me!
SheCodes Plus was just what I was looking for in a coding workshop. It's a great entry into learning vanilla javascript and how to host your own website! The weather project that I worked on over the course of the program really helped cement all of the new techniques I was learning each week. I look forward to learning even more in SheCodes React :)
