It has been a long (but amazing) journey! A lot of trial and error and hard work were needed but the end result made it all worthwhile!
SheCodes was a wonderful experience! The lessons were informative and I really enjoyed completing the challenges and homework to test my knowledge. These exercises could be frustrating, but there were plenty of resources available and the solutions for review were great. I'm so glad I enrolled!
I love the SheCodes courses because of how they are broken down into smaller, manageable steps.

The SheCodes Plus course was a great addition to the Introduction to Coding part. It challenged me on a daily basis and motived me to keep going on and learn more. The structure of the course made it possible to pick up skills and work in a framework that I have never imagined to be able to do before! :) And when I was struggling with the challenges, it was comforting to know that I have support, should I need it. I especially like SheCodes, because Matt is always keeping it real and the platform itself is very intuitive. Based on my experience with SheCodes, it was a great introduction to coding and helped me take the needed steps in understanding the basics of coding. SheCodes inspired me to continue to learn more about coding in hopes to get a career change.
Shecodes has been so informative and easy to follow. The lessons are bitesize yet full of substance. With a very busy lifestyle, I was still able to fit the course into my life, even doing extra hours just getting lost in the possibilities of code. Lots of support and a great community to be a part of.
When I just started university, I decided to study engineering (in business, but still engineering) ... we had to learn to program and I recollect that it was frustrating for me because nothing came out and I did not understand the logic of programming. In the end, I changed careers, but I always had the idea of one day really learning how to use my computer beyond social media and Excel. The SheCodes course proved to me that programming can be easy if they explain it to you well. I would recommend this course to any woman who wants to improve herself, get out of her comfort zone and, above all, who believes that programming is difficult.

Quick course and the self-pacing was great. I was able to complete the course in a week. This is definitely a course for BEGINNER coders. If you have any coding experience, you will likely feel as though this course moves slowly (many of the videos were review for me). As a teacher, I was disappointed to find when I wanted to complete more advanced coding in my homework and I told to hold off and instead register for one of the more advanced courses and wait to try it then. It made me feel as though the instructor's help was not really helpful and I was passed off for wanting to try to complete some of the work shown in an advanced video.
This course really challenged me, but I had really great help along the way. I am very thankful that I have this great new skill to take with me on my next adventure!
I have never coded in my life before, but the SheCodes Workshops made it look easy and fun for me! I learned entirely a new skill that I would like to practice deeper in the future. After every challenge that I would overcome during coding, I felt satisfied with the achievements I have done. Thank you to the team and Matt for making this happen!
Great beginner's course! Easily explains the basics in a digestible way with a good amount of applicable tasks.
So far very good! There is so many different online choices but this makes a difference: workshop way of working (with homework, deadline and homeworks to submit) and possibility to have support from the SheCode team if you have some issues (kind of mentoring on demand). Continue offer great product & service! Small future suggestion: as some videos were done in the past, update new info/changes eg. What is the difference between JavaScript 6 and the newest one.
I would highly recommend SheCodes for anyone looking for a solid foundation in coding without dropping thousands on a bootcamp. I loved the pace and level of the course, and really appreciated the community of the slack channel. I'm looking forward to building a portfolio with the projects I worked on with SheCodes.
It's kind of challenging but at the same time enjoyable and rewarding course to learn basic coding. Totally recommend SheCodes Workshop!

Great course. I've learned so much in the first 3 weeks, and am really excited to start SheCodes Plus.
Highly informative and easy to digest. Missing some deeper explanations (like why do we use div vs span, how coding impacts internet searches and crawls, etc), but the knowledge covered is more than enough to kickstart your coding career.
I chose SheCodes as an intro into the coding world. My goal was to learn the basics so that I can then be able to teach my elementary students. I met my goal, and am now interested in learning more! SheCodes made it easy, understandable and doable.
SheCodes has taught me applicable skills that I'll be sure to utilize in the future. I feel empowered to learn subject-matter in a primarily male-dominated field.

I enjoyed every second of this workshop. Even with the challenges I have encounter, I did not wanted to stop coding. It felt like an addiction. No matter how hard the topic might be, Matt makes it super comprehensible and you end up building and coding stuff that you never thought would. Gotta give it to Matt and his team for helping me through the entire process with issues/questions I may have had. It was a super and exciting ride. I am still not done since I have to continue with the react workshop now and cannot wait!

I have always been interested in coding but found it hard to teach myself. The SheCodes lessons were easy to understand but still challenging. I found the SheCodes team very responsive and helpful on Slack. I would definitely recommend!
I'm surprised I found the 3 weeks course interesting. It was nice to see that one could actually learn some basic coding without the "you're back in school" feeling. I also appreciate the short lessons and straight to the point examples. I'd recommend it for anyone wondering, if by some miracle, they might be able to understand coding 😋.
This was the best course to begin my coding journey and I'm really glad that I did. The only thing I can think of not being 100% ok is that I wanted to learn more than this, even though it was a begginer's guide xD

I enjoyed this course a lot and can highly recommend this course to every woman , who would like to gain new experience in coding! The best in this course are the tasks , so its really much practice and not just theory, so one can learn it by doing it oneself.
SheCodes is wonderful! The videos are clear, well structured, and organized. It's also an asynchronous class - you can learn and work on your homeworks/projects whenever convenient for you. I finished the three-week coding class in a week and was surprised by how much knowledge I gained already! I'm excited to unfold what the next class has for me. Highly recommended!
A great course for beginners definitely worth it. I loved the fact that the curriculum is divided in several short videos and after each video you get to apply what you have learned in the challenge and afterwards combine everything you have learned in the homework and finally in the final project. I am very happy that I decided to spend the autumn learning how to code. Not only did I finally learn the basics of web development, but it also gave me the confidence and desire to learn other technologies and programming languages. SheCodes also already helped me to get a new job.
The React workshop is important in order to have more knowledge and is necessary for a future career if you want to continue growing up.
This workshop was not easy, I have to admit, but it feels so satisfying and empowering to be able to create your own weather app from scratch, especially if you have no background in coding. Everyone has been so helpful when I needed assistance and it's so nice to know that there is always someone than can help if you are stuck! I totally recommend SheCodes workshops.
I'm quickly learning in this platform, something I couldn't achieve before in other pages. You have a lot of support here and I think that's what makes it easier to learn 😊.
Learning to code for the first time ever from scratch is a very intimidating thing. However, Matt and the support team provide such simple teaching and great knowledge to get you through the course. When I first heard about coding, I really interested to learn about it but I am not sure where to learn or where to start if I wanted to learn my own. When I found out about SheCodes, I apply and learn about coding from scratch and it is worth it as the workshop teaches me step by step so that I can understand better. Overall it is a good experience learning coding here.

When I first started this workshop I had no idea whatsoever of what making a web page implied, so my curiosity made me investigate a little bit about it when I came across SheCodes and I loved it, since the first day I discovered how fun coding can be 😎
The only time I have ever coded was with myspace and even that was only copy and paste lol. it's cool to now understand what the codes mean as well as how things function. This workshop is useful and easy to understand. Our teacher Matt did a great job of explaining everything as well as show many examples.
In 2020 after 7 years of designing and managing IT projects, I have decided to learn software development, I wanted to know how to use all modern technologies, tools and frameworks. My experience in coding was limited to basic university program of c# and java. Thanks to SheCodes lessons (Plus and React) I have received updated and practical knowledge in order to build and maintain by myself web apps using HTML-CSS-JS or React.js framework. As a consequence I can now manage development teams even better than before or directly take a role of Front End dev in a project. Matt Delac is a great tutor, I appreciate a lot his mission! Now I am a certified Front End developer.

A great introduction to coding - I have learnt so much these past few weeks. Really enjoyable and the videos were easy to follow. I expected more teaching in the third week rather than just the project, but a great experience overall! I would definitely recommend.

I was a total beginner when I started this course - I never did anything related to coding. Matt was explaining everything really clearly and I always had access to the materials to go back to and refresh the info. I stumbled upon SheCodes ad while watching some tutorial trying to understand how to start programming. I usually skip ads but this time was different. What a ride this was! The whole workshop is amazing and everything is well step-by-step explained. You will learn the basics but it is enough to built your own page with some cool functionalities. And if you struggle with being patient this is the way how to work on it as well. Trust me! I enjoyed every bit of the workshop and recommend it to anyone wanting to start coding or just try if this is the right path. I am gonna definitely continue with Plus React. Thank you!

This course is really amazing! I have tried to learn coding by myself through various free online materials before but it is really hard to pick up if one don't have any basic concept of it. But Matt made everything simple and easy to understand and I eventually create my own page. Even though there are still lots of things to be learnt, this is a wonderful beginning of my coding journey.
I recommend this course to any woman who is curious about stepping into the tech world. These courses that Matt and his team have designed are made to be easy to follow along, to ask questions along the way and most importantly challenge your creative and critical thinking skills as you create your own designs and applications.I knew nothing when I started and I am happy to now have completed the program entirely - in just under 6 months, too!

Simple to follow, goes at the right pace and fun to learn!
This course cleared up all of my "what is that?", "what does this do?", "what does this mean?"...."what?!?!?" feelings. I now understand what coders are referring to on stackoverflow, github, and reddit when I search for a term, a way to do something, or when I'm generally curious. Overall this course flows at an excellent pace, is broken down into little snippets, and sprinkles in various little surprises here and there. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to start somewhere without feeling overwhelmed by scattered, never-ending information and resources on the internet. And on top of that, I was able to find a lot of interesting things outside of the scope of this course from the suggestions in each video. I really appreciated all the help on the slack channel, too!
Well suited for beginners! The topics cover a lot of basic knowledges of web development. However, I would expect more examples like different types of website structures, etc. Overall, great job to all SheCodes team!

I'm not really a fan of weather apps after spending months doing one application. It was really difficult to motivate myself to keep going. The React course should have been another example. I don't exactly know how to make anything other than the weather app and a basic website. But I do feel I got a base enough to go to other classes and not be as confused. I would have liked to learn what is possible with other APIs.
I have really enjoyed my learning experience with SheCodes. I loved the React course. The lessons are very well instructed and easy to understand. It is great that you have the opportunity to come back to your educational material whenever you need. I hope to continue my journey and use what I have learned to start working as a front end developer. Thank you guys (@Matt, @Joao, @Lexi) for making this workshop such a nice experience!
