I have enjoyed this workshop a lot. Got to learn so many new things and I cannot wait to learn REACT and start applying for jobs. SheCodes was a great refresher for me for HTML and CSS and an intro to Java Script. I learned so much in just a short period of time.
The bootcamp is perfect! Everybody was helpfull, and it was easy to understand.
SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to front-end development for me. Although I'd rather have live classes, so it would feel more interactive, Matt's videos were clear and to the point, and I had no issues solving my doubts by searching the documentation. This is an awesome workshop for someone who wants to dive in to HTML, CSS and JavaScript if they don't have that much experience!
It was incredibly easy, fun and effective learning these languages and their tools with SheCodes! I feel really excited to learn more and more! Highly recommend it!
So far I have really enjoyed the weekly workshops. Matt explains things clearly and it's nice to go back and rewatch the videos if I feel like I need to refresh. I am happy I found SheCodes. Moving on to SheCodes Plus.
I have absolutely no experience in Coding, but during the pandemic I started looking into it I finally took the leap of faith and joined SheCodes. Building a weather app was super challenging and at the same time super rewarding. SheCodes does a great job at guiding you through the process of building your first application. Matt is a wonderful instructor and the best of it all, the app is actually live; with real data! Invest in yourself and take the time to learn how to code!
I'm proud to have taken the next step continuing from SheCodes basic to plus! It was truly a great experience to learn more about coding and diving deeper into knowing about API's and hosting a site. It was challenging but the experience was worth it and it was fun to see everything come together while building my weather application from start to finish!

I'm so proud of myself for finishing this project, it was definitely not hard to do, Matt's explaining videos are so good! doing the project step by step helps a lot to understand everything and not getting overwhelmed with information.
Among all the other virtual self-study courses, SheCodes Basic course is one of the best courses I've participated within 5 years! Everything was coordinated super-smoothly, all the necessary information was provided before and during the study, I got help when I asked it, Matt's way of teaching suited me very well and I had just enough time to learn and submit my homework. As a French philologist, yet being an Estonian native speaker, I've always thought that coding is only for the people who understand higher math. Well, I've never would have guessed that coding is very similar to learning a foreign language. And moreover, it's fun! I will definitely continue my baby-steps and try to make as much effort into my development as I can. Thank you so much, SheCodes' team! π

This course is absolutely fantastic! Coding concepts and projects are broken down into small, more digestible chunks that makes it easy to understand and not seem overwhelming. SheCodes has made it very easy for me to learn how to code without so much struggle. I specifically like the step to step guideline approach that Matt uses to teach. I like how we started off by writing codes on code pen then slowly moved to VsCode editor, all of which one could access just by a click of a button. So far, it has been an exciting Learning experience and I cannot wait to learn more!

I learned a great deal through the Responsive course. The classes are informative and easy to follow, while giving students room to experiment and make mistakes. I feel more confident in my coding skills after taking this course, and I'm excited to see what I can create with React next!

After being exposed to CSS design in my current job I became interested in what coding actually was and whether it would be something I could do. SheCodes breaks coding down in such a way that it isn't daunting and has made me really believe that this is something that I could pursue further in the future. I really enjoyed working through the responsive tutorial - I still have a lot to practice and learn, but it was great to discover the different ways to make a responsive, SEO-friendly and accessible website.

SheCodes lesson proceeds step by step, and concisely teaches the students the pivotal things and elements on coding. As my background, I had been interested in coding for a while and felt "I need more some skill in IT field for my career", but thought at the same time taking the coding lesson or going coding school was highly expensive. However, fortunately I found SheCodes, course of which is really affordable! Although I need more reviewing what I learned through SheCodes Basic workshops and remembering them for sure, after doing that, I would like to take a higher-level workshop, SheCodes Plus!
It was a very good course about Html, CSS and JavaScript. I'm really happy and proud of my growth in this part. the concepts are deeply taught with lots of challenges and homework, that make you sure you learned it. finally as Matt always says, It was really fun and super easy ! βπ

The workshop has been a real fun and educational experience! I had completely forgotten that over a decade ago I used to enjoy editing my MySpace and LastFM profiles so much, and the free class I signed up for spontaneously reminded me about that. It was so great that I enrolled on the Basics Workshop with no hesitation. Coding seems fun and I am convinced that learning the fundamentals with SheCodes is just the beginning of my journey in that area!

I was so nervous at the time that I registered for this course since I didn't think that I could complete these 3 weeks. However, everything change after I finished my first week and felt excited about the next one. The instructor creates a course that is so interactive and so easy to understand. Finally, I can code and build my own site myself and that is so cool! Hopefully, other people also will have the same feeling as me and "Happy coding!"
SheCodes provides a great way to learn the basics of coding. Although the course is quite challenging, in the end, you can learn how coding affects the layout of websites on a daily basis. I highly recommend SheCodes for everyone who wants have a grasp of modern technology!

Wow! I found out I am autistic and ADHD this year after 25 years of feeling very lost and broken-- for so long I thought coding and schooling was something completely inaccessible to me! I tried this in a faithful leap towards re-imagining a future where I communicate deeper and can offer creative skills; ultimately to be an autonomous adult. This workshop is SO thought through, navigable, and encouraging! I confidently understand the content, I genuinely enjoy solving the puzzles of coding, and I am thrilled with curiosity for all the possibilities and lessons to come! Now, on to SheCodes Plus!
SheCodes took what felt like an impenetrable language and made it accessible in a way I hadn't expected. I absolutely feel like this is something I can do and I'm so excited to continue learning!

SheCodes' Basic course was so fun and easy to follow. I came from zero coding background and was concerned about taking a coding course while also working 40+ hours a week. I am SO GLAD that I did! I learned so much, gained a ton of confidence, and am excited to learn more about coding!
The first week was the hardest yet most interesting! I think I had the most trouble with the button and giving it actions. I did however love playing with designs and gradients made it really fun!
This isn't easy, but it's worth it!

The SheCodes Basics workshop was really fun! I was surprised how much I looked forward to watching the videos and completing the challenges. It felt really empowering to understand something I had always assumed just wasn't "for me". Women are rarely encouraged to explore areas like coding so I really appreciated this environment and safe space. The problem-solving and creative elements were my favourites...I spent a lot of time playing with colour gradients for my final project! I would definitely recommend this workshop to anyone looking to explore something new!

I developed a sudden interest for coding after I attended the 60-minute SheCodes Express class. I am so glad I decided to enrol in the beginners 3 week course with Matt this summer, as I have never had any experience with this field before. This has been quite a journey. Learning how to code in React included a lot of frustration, but mostly with positive feelings when my ideas came alive. Thank you for this experience! I canβt wait to use my new skills in many more projects. For me, coding is the perfect mix of creativity, logic, and detective work.
I really improved my skills in making a website responsive, how to make a grid, flexbox, media queries, custom navigation and how to use Bootstrap to code faster. I also really appreciate some guidance in using other tools like Figma for webdesign. Thank you very much SheCodes team!

SheCodes is an easy way to learn to code. Matt explains it well. And when I didn't completely understand the explanation in the video's, luckily a search on the internet made it clear. I really loved doing the final project; it all came together and I could spend hours without watching an instruction or making homework. The final project is a great one to check if you understood it all <3
I had much fun with the react workshop, but it was definitely challenging! I'm really happy I completed all the SheCodes workshops. I learned lots of new things and had so much fun these three weeks! I really liked that the main focus of the workshop is on having fun coding and seeing "frustration" just as a part of the process and not as something negative.
