I have found my blessing in disguise after my position at the company I've work at for over a decade (my first job after finishing university) had been eliminated. During those 12 years, I have discovered that learning and knowing Microsoft VBA for Excel, something had taught myself and truly enjoyed (and up to my last day), gave me a better idea of what I wanted to do. Reflecting on new possibilities, coding seemed like a brilliant idea to pursue, and it helps that I'm pretty techie. Now that the basics of coding has been completed, I'm excited to continue onto the next lessons, and building my skillset from SheCodes that'll eventually help open the doors and allow great vocational opportunities for me.

The Python AI course has been my favorite course thus far! As the world continues to advance towards AI powered tools, it is imperative to have the knowledge of how to build and ask the right questions for AI. This course has given me a better understanding of prompt and context statements, along with showing me how to use Google Colab.
Getting trhough this Python workshop made me understand how much more practical data analisys can be. The possibilities of interactions and data manipulation open a door for much more personalized insights and assertive decisions. I really enjoyed the She Codes Basics Workshop. The learning experience was fun and engaging, with plenty of hands-on practice that helped solidify the concepts. While some parts moved a bit quickly and I occasionally felt certain explanations could have gone deeper, it was still a fantastic introduction to web development. Be prepared to put in some extra effort on your own โ but itโs totally worth it. Youโll learn a lot and gain real coding skills. Iโd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to start their journey into coding!

Learning how to integrate AI APIs into the python coding skills learned in the previous package was really helpful.
It's always fun to see how much more we can do with the tools that we already have, I believe this was my main conclusion from this workshop. The data manipulation using JavaScript brings us a whole new range of possibilities when setting up a project, and makes it easier to display dynamic results.
The courses are explained well with examples. The projects are fun and challenging but the instructor does provide step by step instructions.

While beeing currently in New York, I developed a fully responsive travel website from the ground up, focused on local food spots and attractions. I absolutely enjoyed this project, it sharpened my front-end development skills using HTML5, CSS Grid, HTML tables, and embeds. I created an interactive layout with travel project cards and dynamic visuals.
I found the Responsive Web Design course on CSS Grid really interesting. It was a great way to dive deeper into building flexible and well-structured layouts. I also had fun discovering some cool extras like CSS filters and iframes โ little surprises that made the whole learning experience even more enjoyable! That said, I still prefer using Flexbox โ it just feels more intuitive to me for most layout tasks ^^;
While doing my lessons with SheCodes, I started building my own online dictionary project as a way to apply what I was learning. The experience was incredible! I went from understanding basic React components to integrating real APIs like DictionaryAPI and Pexels. Seeing the definitions, phonetics, images, and even audio pronunciation come together felt so rewarding. Every lesson I completed inspired a new feature in my app. SheCodes helped me bring my vision to life now I have a fully functional, stylish dictionary I can be proud of!
