This is such an excellent workshop: Matt is a wonderful instructor who makes all these concepts really accessible. I've watched a lot of online React tutorials and no one else is quite as good. The support provided over Slack is also invaluable. If you're even remotely curious about development, you ought to sign up!

SheCodes Basics is a fantastic introductory class to HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I learned so much in just 3 weeks! Each lesson was easy to follow, understand, and just enough content to focus on at one time. I would highly recommend it to other people. I was looking for a course that eased me into the world of coding and the SheCodes basics course was the perfect thing. The videos were easy to understand without doing any handholding and allowed me to both get a good grasp and be self sufficient at the same time.

When I first started with SheCodes I didn't believe I was going to actually learn how to create my own landing page by Week 3.... but I DID IT!!! This is only the beginning and I'm soo excited and definitely looking forward to SheCodes Plus.

I was hesitant at first but I finally decided to give it a try cause 1) it kept popping up as ads on YouTube or a game I was playing 2) I wanted to try something new, for myself, that didn't take up too much of my time from my 16 and 7 year old boys, both with disabilities. Surprisingly, it IS how they say it is. Only a few hours a week and anyone, I mean anyone, can do it. I had no knowledge of coding what-so-ever. But I really enjoyed doing the challenges and the project. He warns you that you won't understand a lot but at the same time it makes sense if you understand how to use the tools he gives. My advice to anyone giving it some thought, if you have a few hours to spare a week, then just go for it. And try not to overthink anything cause there is nothing to overthink. You have the help of others at your finger tips. Yes, it can be frustrating at times (nothing comes without frustration) but it's all worth it in the end.
I've always wanted to venture into coding, but let fear get the best of me. This course has been such a great experience and I'm excited to overcome that and continue learning and developing my skills with SheCodes. I've loved learning these past few weeks and can't wait to take on more challenges 😁 Highly recommend!!

This was such a great course! It gave a really great understanding in how to use React and being able to make two projects really helped to consolidate everything that we had learned in the earlier weeks.

I always found coding very difficult. I tried other learning platforms but it looked so complicated and difficult. But with shecodes, learning how to code was simplified, fun. I could do this all everyday. Never imagined saying that 😂. Great teaching, great learning experience!!!

I would highly recommend SheCodes to someone who is interested in learning to code. Matt Delac is a great instructor who explains everything in a way that makes it easy to understand. I also appreciate that they use Slack so that we can ask questions and talk with other participants. I am so glad that the responsive course was created. Since high-school I had this crazy fear of coding, because I was sure it was related to Math. Well, it is related to Math, but the world of coding is so big that I was shocked to discover that there are parts of coding that aren't related to math at all😏. Thank you so much Matt for giving me the skills to learn these skills and make my own Javascript application! I've always been intimated by a high level coding program and you made it so much easier. Over the last couple of weeks I learnt that I can create a wireframe, write HTML, design using Bootstrap and CSS while making my application interactive!
I thought building a responsive webpage was much more complicated, but this class explained everything easily. I learned a lot and would recommend this to any aspiring web developer!

After my degree in Marketing, I was looking for a new challenge. I always was interested in coding but I didn't know where to start. Luckily, I found SheCodes. I enjoyed the basic course and can't wait to continue my coding journey at SheCodes.

I had a lot of fun exploring the world of programming. It was a perfect balance between learning new things in a short time and exploring independently. The course was super structured and gave just the right input through the learning units. The homework assignments allowed you to check your own learning, which was motivating and made you proud. The support from the community was terrific and despite being online, you never had the feeling that you had to struggle through alone. As a psychologist, it gave me the perfect insight to delve more into the world of digitalisation and to learn more about the people in that field.
It was so much fun! I really liked the structure of the course. For me it was the perfect balance between being challenged and not feeling overwhelmed. Matt explained everything very nicely and I always felt like I could ask any question if I needed help.
