This workshop was great and I highly recommend it. I learned a lot about JavaScript and APIs and the project was challenging but fun! I'm really excited for the next workshop.
I always wanted to learn to code, but I always failed because I had never found a course that made learning code accessible like SheCodes.

SheCodes React was really challenging. At the beginning I was totally lost, but with the smooth pace of the classes I was able to understand how React.js works and how powerful it is. It was really fun to work with React.js and get more contact with others APIs. I'm really grateful for Matt and SheCodes for the opportunity!

The advanced workshop was definitely challenging but I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I have learnt a lot, it made me do a lot more research based on the design I wanted and the support was phenomenal! The weekly modules were very easy to follow, the homework really made you think. There was a a great balance between technical and creative aspects! Having a look back at my final project, I am so proud and I can't believe I have created that! :)
I have enjoyed myself while deepening my knowledge in Programming, as this course has really been enriching. The opportunity to build and design from scratch an app, as well as to host it and see that it works has been so worth it.

Honestly, this workshop gave me a sense of meaning during the holidays. I was bored out of my head so I decided to sign up on a whim, but it turned out to be one of my better life choices. I ended up learning about a whole new frontier and gaining a new skill. I'll most definitely sign up for another workshop once the next holiday month arrives.

SheCodes is a great online platform for learning coding. There is no prior coding knowledge required for this SheCodes Basics program. It was a fun learning journey. The curriculum is well designed and very supportive staffs to help you throughout the process.

It was a really hard project but worthwhile. I love the staff so much because they were always there to help me when I was having trouble.
This workshop has made me realized that coding is not a one fit for all devices. It is an on going process and you really have to continually test out how your code/website look for different device sizes. I am thankful for this workshop because without it, I wouldn't have had a thought on making my code look good in a small, medium and large devices. It would have only looked presentable in one and a jumbled mess in others.
I wish I had more time! Being very busy I took advantage of the Christmas vacation and I had a lot of FUN by learning this! The support is awesome but you probably won't need it! The video lessons are so clear that you probably won't need any support at all!

I have really enjoyed these last three weeks giving it a go at coding. I found it fun and interesting, a perfect combination of creativity, following rules and at the same time feeling like doing some scientific/nerdy work. Great start of the year! It was awesome to finally being able to create my own website. Matt explains very well and I could follow his instructions easily.
I was really looking forward to finally being able to build responsive pages. I enjoyed the course a lot, also because of the insights into Figma and other design tools. Now I'm excited to see what the next station "React" has in store.

It is very interesting to learn step by step and when you reach the end to realize everything you can build on your own, highly recommended.
This has been amazing! I had previously tried to learn some programming languages but most information didn't stick. Throughout this workshop, I gained more confidence while having fun with the tasks. The course is very well-structured with tutorials that are very easy to understand, followed by homework that helps solidify this theory and put it into practice. By the end of it, I feel like I've acquired useful new skills that I can't wait to improve on.
I really enjoyed the Responsive workshop the past weeks. It feels amazing to be able to put together an actual portfolio website from scratches - I never thought I'd do it but with lots of trial and errors I finally made it! To be very honest, I did not believe in myself at the beginning. I thought that coding is only for the IT guys who have studied it for years. But I gave it a shot anyways! After each class I stared to gain more confidence and I discovered that it actually might be something that I want to do in the future. It's actually a lot of fun! I am very glad I have tried and I truly believe that one day I will start working in this industry.
I've learnt a lot during SheCodes Responsive. After this workshop I can use Bootstrap and Media Query without any problem and make nice, responsive websites. Thanks and can't wait to start SheCodes React! π

I am sure that I am not the first nor the last person who asked themselves at some point of their life "Is it too late to learn how to code?". SheCodes and their courses answered this question for me and the answer is.. Definitely not too late! :) I have learned a lot in this course in a very easy and playful way. Yayy to me! I have completed another Shecodes Workshop successfully. I am looking forward to start React now. :) The structure of the syllabus was spot on. I am not a book person and I have wasted so much money buying programming books and never finished more than 2 pages( im not proud). I love how Shecodes gives me opportunity to watch Matt doing the work and i can watch step by step. lets talk about the help. Amazing community and Joao and Bruno helped me at every step where I felt stuck, without babysitting me.I absolutely recommend Shecodes to anyone on a heart beat.
I have always considered myself a creative person so coding was never really on my radar. I decided to try it and I have not regret it for a second. Coding actually is very creative and. I would recommend anyone who has. doubts, to try. Also, Matt explains everything clearly and logically. I was worried but now I just want to continue. :)

It is great! very challenging but also satisfying!
The basic course gave me a first (basic ;)) understanding how websites are build, how css and html have to be read. The tutorials were pretty easy to understand and even if I do not use the slack group that often, I love the idea to use this for communicating with other female coders and the SheCodes team. I realized that I really like coding and it makes the whole coding world less nerdy to me ;) I have a great respect for the programming world.
SheCodes Plus is an amazing adventure I would highly recommend. It's a challenging, but well structured and really fun course. Getting to know how to code gave me a lot broader view both in my professional and private life. Matt is a great instructor and makes coding accessible for everybody. Can't wait to continue learning how to code with next SheCodes workshops!

These 3 weeks were a great introduction into the world of front-end development. All explanations and videos were clear and easy to follow, and the challenges at the end of each module were the cherry on top. I had a really great time, and I can't wait to start the more advanced workshops.
