This workshop is such an amazing knowledge bank for any one passionate about coding. I am a kind of beginner for the CSS, HTML and JS and what makes the workshop more appealing is the fact that Matt presents the workshop in such an understandable, structured and fun way. I work in a completely unrelated field (healthcare), but felt like I wanted to pick up another skill/hobby when I happened to come across SheCodes. I'm so glad I did because I ended up really enjoying the Basics workshop 😊 Matt's a great teacher and made the content really easy for an absolute beginner like myself (beginner as in, I didn't even know what HTML or CSS was before I started, much less how to design a landing page). The structure of the lessons/challenges was a fantastic way to learn and I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to start learning to code. Instead of 2 months, it took me three to complete this course but I'm proud of myself. After SheCodes Basic I felt good that I can build my own website but now, with SheCodes Plus I can build a website that has access to real data! It's amazing. It was one my life-time experiences that has paved my way in data science learning and I believe with coding skill I will be able to establish my ideal career in the future. Matt thought coding in a completely understandable way which although I have not had any background in this area, I did not have any difficulties through learning.

The course by SheCodes was a lot of fun and helped me to understand the basics of coding. Although I still have a lot to learn, the tips and tools has left me feeling more confident. SheCodes Plus has been a whole new level of challenge, but it is achievable. Follow Matt step by step to create a fully functioning weather app. Users will need to do their own practice to really get good but this is a great set of guiding videos to get started.
I enjoyed these past 3 weeks learning code. The lessons were fun and easy to follow. I always felt that my questions were answered on Slack and that Matt was a great teacher.
The SheCodes Basics workshop is a fantastic foundational program for those interested in learning how to code, or those like me, who may have previously self-taught. The step by step video teachings are easy to follow and understand, and the challenges, with provided solutions, add an extra step to become more comfortable with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The dedicated Slack channel provided support and encouragement from peers, and having my assignments reviewed by a member of the SheCodes team helped me to gain confidence in my coding skills with their feedback and guidance. I loved working through the workshops on my own time! The extensions have also been helpful when I needed more time. I also like how responsive and helpful everyone was on Slack. It's been a great learning process and I'm grateful to finally complete the SheCodes Basics!
I took this course to gain skills in coding. At first, the coding language was a bit intimidating to approach, but with each lesson, I became more confident with coding. I truly enjoyed the course!
Responsive is by far my favorite module to learn. I am now becoming more comfortable with my coding and this is a great tool learn early in my career. I can't wait to see wha React entails!
Prior to SheCodes, I was extremely intimidated by idea of coding and the different languages that exist. After this workshop, I have discovered that it is much less intimidating than it seems and very possible with the right resources and practice! It is also much more creative and fun than I ever imagined.

SheCodes Basic was an overall great experience. I had no prior knowledge of coding whatsoever. However, Matt made it easy to understand and process what he was asking of you to do. Highly recommend this course to anyone that is interested in learning to code!

I really enjoyed this introduction to Computer Programming! I failed this course in High school because no teacher gave me the chance to shine. SheCodes helped me regain my love for coding. It got me thinking whether I'd enjoy being a front end or back end developer! I will continue on with the SheCodes Courses to further enhance my coding skills and knowledge!
SheCodes is an excellent introduction to coding. The information was broken down in an easy-to-follow and engaging way that laid a great foundation of programming for me as a total beginner. I would recommend it to anyone who's been interested in coding but struggling to figure out where to start!

I tried out SheCodes as a way to determine if I would enjoy coding as a career, and it did just that. The lessons were paced beautifully, and I don't know if another program would have introduced me to coding with as much ease
SheCodes makes everything so approachable and possible. Matt does a great job teaching each lesson and sharing his own best practices. I love that the program offers balance between completing it at your own pace and keeping it timely with assignments and deadlines. I can't wait to start the next course.

It's a great beginner-friendly workshop. Before this workshop, I knew absolutely nothing when it came to coding, all throughout high school I never took any computer classes because at the time it just didn't seem like an appealing career to me, but I wanted to learn something new and determine if this could become a new career possibility for me. It definitely has helped me decide as someone who is 20 and has literally no idea what career they want.
I've been wanting to learn to code for a while, and SheCodes was so helpful!! The videos were super clear and straight to the point, and I can't wait to learn more :)

This 3 week workshop really was a great first step into understanding the direction I want to take. As someone who has always been curious I never felt I knew where to start when it came to learning a new skill like coding. Now I feel ready to challenge myself and grow!
I decided to do this workshop because I wanted to change up my life/career and do better for my daughter and myself. I knew I liked coding but I didn't realize how much I would love it by the end of these 3 weeks. I have learned so much and I am excited to do another workshop and learn so much more!!

After following SheCodes for about a year, I finally signed up and am so happy I did! I completed SheCodes React as part of the SheCodes Pro package. I do not think without SheCodes I would be able to say I can confidently code a website and web app from scratch. React takes your learning from Javascript to a whole new level. The workshop provides a good and informative learning curve to get to grips with React as I do not think I would have been able to learn the framework on my own.
I would 100% recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn the basics of coding and website building. The lessons are very easy to follow and the weekly challenges make it very practical and help staying engaged with the content!

This is by far my favorite SheCodes Workshop! Learning how to build my own responsive portfolio was not only fun, it also prepared me for any future projects.
After having done the Basic Workshop, this was definitely more challenging as I had a few weeks gap. Worth the struggles and constant questions of 'why is it not working?'.
Undoubtedly, it has been essential to learn about responsive web design and the application of SEO rules, to correctly adapt the appearance of web pages to multiple devices, allow the identification of information by web search engines and make it increasingly user-friendly.
SheCodes Basic has been a great introduction and I'm excited to continue learning.
Matt made the lessons very easy to understand and enjoyed the challenges. I do believe though, that if you have a decent amount of HTML or CSS knowledge, the basic workshop would not be necessary for you to complete.
I came across with SheCodes when I was looking to learn more about how to make great web-products. Even 3 weeks helped me understand how much work goes into designing and perfecting little details! Thanks for making it fun to code and thanks for helping more women break into tech jobs! :)

Wow, that was an amazing adventure through programming world. The nicely presented basics of front-end coding made the challenges pure pleasure for me and made me feel a little bit like from a matrix universe ;)
SheCodes React is an amazing course. It's challenging, lots to learn, but once you complete it, you'll feel accomplished and have so much more knowledge in such a short amount of time. Matt explains things very well. He is real and will show you that even an advanced developer still has much to learn. Loved this course!

I've been curious about coding since 1 year ago, when a friend gave me a glimpse of what front-end development was. Following this introduction, I started looking for online courses so I could learn without abdicating from my daily (and full-time) job as physiotherapist. I tried many different online resources, but it was when I stumbled upon SheCodes on Instagram that my interest started to feel like an actual career possibility as I was reading the different testimonies. The start of the course was exhilarating to me: after working from 9am to 5pm, I would come home excited to learn new things at the rhythm of Matt’s explanations. What I thought could be a hard thing to reconcile - my daily job and the coding assignments - turned out to be quite affordable (not only in price but also) in self-motivation to do more and better. Overall the course is simple, organized, well-explained, inexpensive and gives me lots of tools far from the coding itself as I learned how to Google my obstacles away in a productive manner. Furthermore, I think it’s great to know that you are not alone in the learning process, as there are many others sharing their own doubts on slack! I completely recommend this course, especially for people in the same situation as myself who have found an interest and would love to explore it without compromising their current economic safety :)
The SheCodes video classes and their other resources are amazing, and the team is extremely helpful. Matt's videos are very easy to follow and I love the fact that they are not scripted so we can learn even more from him as he films himself coding in real-time with all the inherent challenges. Another plus is Matt always shows us the best coding practices, even when he says: "You don't have to do this but I highly recommend (...)" 🙂 So I can't recommend this workshop enough for people who are beginning their coding journey like me. It is a bliss!!
Lessons, extra materials and all content and resources are easy on hand and the platform is clear. Extra bonuses for the cool radio station!
The Basic workshop gives me a chance to try whether coding is my cup of tea. I have no experience and started from scratch. Eventually, I am able to complete the 3-week program and definitely enjoy the teaching approach and support from the community:)
