The course was so interactive and the challenges really help me to improve my coding skills. I'm really in love with this new languages that learn thanks to this course.
This is my second SheCodes workshop and both were wonderful and so informative. I really enjoyed the increased knowledge and practice in JavaScript. I can't wait to move on to the next workshop!
It was almost 3 months of quite hard work but the result is worth it ⭐️ SheCodes Plus requires more effort than Basic workshop but if you like challenges 💪 then this is something for you. I got bunch of new extra useful information about API and JS plus all resources necessary to build my very first application. Matt as always is a great teacher who knows how to explain the most difficult stuff the easiest possible way. Entering fascinating world of coding now I really know how much I don't know 😅 but for sure I feel more confident and I'm looking forward to continue my journey with front end development and to see where it brings me 👩🏻💻👀🛤

If you want to upgrade your JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills, I definitely recommend this course. Coding is like solving a puzzle, that is the part I liked most.

Learning to code is really fun, especially when you are tutored by someone as amazing as Matt. The information that you learned in each video is very brief but when in the end of the workshop, you will be definitely surprised by what you have learned!

I really enjoyed the classes Matt has given in SheCodes. It was clear and easy to follow. I love the examples he gives to be able to relate to the study. I have enjoyed the challenges, it feels like I am back in school, at the same time it feels like Matt was teaching and playing games with us. And the initiative to create SheCodes Radio together with other SheCodes students is so nice! Feel good to be part of a community!

This was so much fun to learn! I looked forward to coming home from work every day and taking on another challenge and then ultimately building my very first app! Matt's teaching style is great and easy to understand and it is nice to be able to have videos and sources to refer back to. The team is also wonderful, with quick and helpful responses. There were times I definitely challenged, but I am so proud of what I have already accomplished and am excited to continue forward in my journey to become a software developer!
After completing this workshop I feel so accomplished and so proud of the work that I have created. Before this workshop I would have never thought that I could create an app let alone a working weather app based on real-time data. But with SheCodes help, easy to follow lessons and assignments I was able to challenge myself. I'm so thankful for SheCodes for helping me create something that I can not only show off and be proud of, but also something that I can use daily myself.

I feel the time frame is very short for those who are in full-time employment and would be difficult for them to complete without an extension.

I got tested positive, I found myself isolated and that's when I have subscribed to SheCodes. I never thought that I will be able to understand a code and build something from scratch! Well to be honest that was more than I expected ! Attending this course was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life, I totally got rid of all those unnecessary , never-ending tutorials I've been using for the past few months and the knowledge that I've gained from Shecodes was, concise , useful and enough for a beginner to say hello to the world of coding !

SheCodes is a great course for beginners or even advanced coders. I enjoyed the flexibility of the Basics course and plan on pursuing the more advanced courses. I've always been interested in learning how to code but could never find a class or program that could teach in a simple enough way for me to follow along. I came across SheCodes and read the testimonials of many other women like myself who is trying add to our skills and make ourselves even more valuable in an ever growing technological world. After these last 3 weeks of taking the SheCodes workshops and completing my first Project, I am grateful and extremely excited to take the Advanced courses in order to help me reach my life goals for myself and my family!
The course was fun and designed for absolute beginners like me. Toward the end of the course, I felt that I want to learn to code even deeper. There are great resources to keep you on track and motivated, especially Slack was great to me. I was inspired by many students' final projects. Definitely recommend it to my friends.
This was incredibly challenging. I really enjoyed learning more about JavaScript and API integration as well as learning how to properly work with Git and Github. Matt is a great teacher and I appreciate that there is a team that's willing to help you when you need assistance with your code. This is a great resource for those who are beginners but want to go more in-depth with their coding skills.
I am currently within the HR career path. However, I have always been curious about coding. I heard about SheCodes last year, and I decided 2022 was going to be my year to EMBARK on this coding journey. The main aspect I was interested in with coding was web design. 👩🏽💻I enjoyed learning HTML, CSS, and JS. I did not expect to learn as much as I did in this coding basics class. All the lessons are ordered in a way for easy learning and comprehension. Matt is an amazing teacher. With each homework assignment and project, you get to test your knowledge! I was hesitant to learn this on my own- however with the support of the SheCodes squad/other learners, I felt empowered that if I didn't understand- I could reach out on the real-time Slack chat. My final project reflects my love for baking! I tried to make it simple yet modern. There are still some concepts I would love to learn in order to implement for further development of my web design skills! I'm not sure what the future is for my coding journey as of now. This basic workshop was great. Gives you many "basic" tips and tricks for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It was nice to work at my own pace, but yet have deadlines (or extensions if needed).
SheCodes Basic was a great intro to coding. It provided the building blocks needed for beginners to learn concepts in a convenient and exciting way This program provided me the ability to learn Javascript, CSS, and HTML in under a month and I am forever grateful.
I’m super grateful for these workshops! I never thought I would be able to code but from each lesson, I have continued to tear down that notion. I’m excited to continue the next workshops!!

When I joined SheCodes, I had zero coding experience, and Matt made coding so easy to learn. I love the way the lessons are divided into short videos, and they give a new activity in almost every lesson to put into practice what has been learned and makes it easier to memorize the information. I'm very proud of everything I've learned so far. And I can't wait to learn more.

I came into this workshop with ZERO experience in coding, and I'm so proud of what I've learned so far! Anyone sitting on the fence, PLEASE take the plunge, you'll learn a lot and it's a great skill set to have! There's many resources to get help, and if someone as tech-challenged as me could get into it, anybody could!
More than happy with this course! In the past few weeks, I've learned SO much about front end development, and can't wait to work on more projects.
With zero prior coding knowledge I watched the free coding video to see what coding is all about. I was instantly interested so I took part in the SheCodes basics course. The whole experience was exciting, fun, and difficult at times . Matt's a brilliant educator, his teaching style enabled a smooth this transition into the coding world for me. Credits to technical support and the supportive students at Slack. This is just the start for me, I look forward to learning more in the upcoming course.
I love the pace of the classes and how the challenges build with each lesson. The final assignment really pulls together all of the lessons and helps with repetition of content. I feel really positive about learning to code and I hope many other women join.

Now that I have completed the SheCodes Plus workshop I am fully aware of my capabilities as a coder. It was amazing to see what I am capable of and it was all thanks to Matt's simple and direct way of teaching. This course had inspired me to continue pursuing frontend development.
This was a great course to learn new skills like API integration to use real life data, learning how to use github and pushing changes to your code, and having netlify to host your work. On top of that having people to help us on the side whenever our code was doing something different or whichever questions we may have had. I'm glad I was able to learn more throughout these couple of weeks.
This was a great intro course and the teaching is easy to follow.
I absolutely loved this workshop. I learned so much during this process and I absolutely loved the final project that we got to do. Building the Weather App was such a fun experience and it really taught me a lot about my abilities and was a great learning experience at filling in the gaps. I really appreciated all the feed back that I got from the instructors and Matt gave great information in the lecture videos.
I like the layout of these workshops. They allow you to work at your own pace, and access help quickly when you need it. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to brush up on their basic coding or improve their skills.

I learned JavaScript with a different program, and it wasn’t as hands on as SheCodes. I really like the fact that SheCodes is very hands on.

I looooved this course! I've tried taking coding courses online before and I always found they lacked structure and ended up not seeing them through. The homework and project deadlines were exactly what I needed. Plus, Matt teaches in a very clear and concise way that makes it easy to understand new concepts. I can't wait to get started with SheCodes Plus.
