SheCodes is a great opportunity to learn how to code from scratch. You can have zero knowledge and still succeed just by following the lessons. Hands-on projects and exercises help to identify what you have already mastered and what you still have to work on. I didn't believe that I would be able to learn how to code, but SheCodes proved me wrong!
During the plus workshop I felt sometimes overwhelmed and frustrated but thanks to the motivating SheCodes Team I didn't give up and it paid off. I managed to code a weather app. I am so grateful for the SheCodes Workshops!

I really enjoy this Basic Workshopπ©βπ». All the material that are explained by Matt are easy to digest and to be followed. What an amazing course! I am totally satisfied!
At the very beginning, I wasn't sure whether I could handle this challenge, because I'm a person who is more into humanities bent,thus coding or programming -another world,which I would never be able to get to know, that was actually my very first thought. Nevertheless, I got into that. The way how Monsieur Matt explains the field of coding,just brilliant! This workshop is extrremely inspiring and I eager to continue to explore the world of IT. SheCodes:Basics - a great workshop,which gives the most comprehemsive explanations of the unknown world of IT and maximum level of creativity.
Overall, I would give this program a 4.3/5. I learned a lot and the lessons taught 1 to 2 ideas to learn at a time, making it easier to learn without getting overwhelmed. If you are not sure you are interested in coding, taking the basic course is a good way to see if it is for you. It also makes me appreciate those who do coding for a living and how much goes into just one web page.
Going through the whole experience with SheCodes has been SO helpful! The workshops are structured wonderfully and make learning easy and fun.
It was really fun and easy to follow. The lesson challenges were really good progress checkpoints that weren't too difficult or off the mark from what was taught.

I was very nervous to start this workshop since I went in knowing absolutely NOTHING about coding! Taking the beginners course showed me that coding can be fun and isn't rocket science like I had thought. The workshops and challenges were so helpful in allowing me to practice what I had learned. And now I'm excited to learn more and hopefully jump start a career as a coder!

The course itself is built logically - so that, as a beginner, it was comfortable for me to dive into the features of the language and the principles of programming in general, topic by topic. It was one my life-time experiences that has paved my way in data science learning and I believe with coding skillI will be able to establish my ideal career in future. This was a great experience! I achieved something that I always thought to be impossible, and I'm super proud of what I was able to develop.
The classes have been quite challenging particularly for me, however I believe that consistency even when you feel like giving up will really help. It might take longer than you expected but in the end you reach your goal once you set up to do something. Despite all this, I have really enjoyed the classes and well pleased with the knowledge I have acquired so far.
SheCodes Basics has been a very thrilling and exciting journey for me personally, from the ; challenges, homeworks and finally the Project.I can't wait to enroll into the SheCodes Plus. In conclusion, SheCodes is definitely worth the hype!

Loved the ability to work at my own pace. Matt was very good about teaching a "think outside the box" mentality. At times it was frustrating and challenging, but it ended up strengthening a soft skill - critical thinking. I want to continue to grow the knowledge I've gained so far!

This was a great intro to coding. Broken down enough to fully understand and absorb the information but not slow enough to become dry and boring. Would highly recommend this course as a great starting point for anyone looking to get familiar with coding.

I thinks this class is great for beginners, who never done coding before. But I would like videos a bit longer to explain some details a bit more. Still it is great if you are just starting, I never did coding before but now after finishing this class I know how to code as a beginner and I think now I will join a class for professionals and I hope I will be a pro one day.

This has been an amazing journey! I started with the first course thinking I would stop after the basics level...but I have loved learning how to code and completed every course available. I chose SheCodes because it was structured (deadlines, I need them) but also flexible (I was still teaching full time so I was coding on weekends). I know that there is SO much more to learn, but I am excited and ready for it. As a transitioning teacher, I never considered FrontEnd Developer as an option for me, but now I do. β€οΈ. AMAZING!!! Matt is a really talented teacher. I started my coding journey with SheCodes basic, fell in love with coding, and decided to make a career shift. I then enrolled in a university bootcamp (BIG mistake) and I dropped out because the tutors were not as talented in explaining the material as Matt and the curriculum was rushed and unorganized, I then decided to sign up for SheCodes Pro and I could immediately notice the difference! I am telling you if you enjoyed your SheCodes basic course, go for it and invest in the SheCodesPro, it is worth every penny! Organized material, an immersive curriculum, fun and engaging challenges, and a super supportive team!
Was it easy, nope it wasn't but it was simplified for anyone to understand and the good news is that when stuck, the team comes to your rescue. We have a wonderful instructor in Matt and a wonderful team in SheCodes without which I am not sure I would have been able to do this as other coding lessons made coding too complicated but here I am today enjoying coding with SheCodes. I am glad on the new path I have chosen, it is something I enjoyed doing and I will do it over and over again I want to use this opportunity to encourage every female out there who wants to code but is scared, don't be scared anymore, SheCodes got you covered, if I can, then you can.

SheCodes made coding seem much less intimidating than I initially thought. I had fun building websites and working through each small challenge.
The workshop for beginners is really beginners-friendly! All lessons are short, good structured and easy to understand. The instructor is supporting and always encourages you to explore a subject, discover different ways of solving the same situation and not to be afraid of making mistake which keeps you motivated a lot. I have already recomened the workshop to my friends and I'm sure I will do it again!

I have experience with HTML and CSS, however JavaScript has always been a struggle. I've tried many other resources and couldn't get an understanding of JS where I felt comfortable to move on. SheCodes Basics was just what I needed to move forward with my learning.

I really enjoyed taking the SheCodes basics class because the SheCodes team makes coding a website extremely approachable! I used to be timid about anything tech/code related, but I feel encouraged to try out different layouts, functions, designs, and ways of interacting with a webpage user now! I also loved that there were smaller challenges throughout each module to warm me up to the big assignments/the final project. The SheCodes team was also very kind and flexible in helping me complete the course while working around my work schedule.
