I completed another course in SheCodes. I have the most wonderful impressions from the lessons. I am amazed by the professional presentation of the material with a Matthieu Delac, which makes it easy to assimilate the material and improve your level of programming knowledge.
I finished other level in course. It was difficult sometimes to make a homework. But great support frome the team helped me a lot.
Coding allows you to immerse yourself in technology. Several searches led me to becoming interested in it. Currently, I'm studying computer science and coding is one of the most important parts of this field. Additionally, coding is fun and educational at the same time, which is awesome.
I can't believe how much I enjoyed completing this workshop! The way Matt teaches is incredible. Coding is one of those subjects that you need a great teacher. Similar to math in high school, if your teacher doesn't explain well, you get confused and fail. Thank you, Matt, for everything you've taught me thus far - I enjoyed building my weather app immensely. I am excited to sign up for more workshops soon!
The course is well structured, so you'll start from baby-steps, but finish with a quite nice result :) Instructions are easy to follow and videos describe everything you need at the current stage. And if you stuck or want to clarify something, you won't wait for ages to get reply.

This is an excellent course! The topics were well-explained, and code was used to exemplify them. Highly recommend this coding class for beginners who want to learn how to code! Although there was a lot to cover, the lessons were easy to follow. I've wanted to get into a career in tech over the last couple of months while unemployed. I wanted to see if I was even capable of understanding coding, so I decided to give the SheCodes Basics course a try. The course was great for teaching software development fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, & Java. I still have a long way to go in my journey, but it's nice to know that I am capable of pursuing this.
Highly recommend this course (and all other SheCodes courses) to anyone wanting to enter into the world of front-end development. I've learnt so much over the 4 courses that SheCodes offers, far more than I thought possible when I first starting coding 6 months ago. Big thanks to Matt and the team!

SheCodes Basic was easy to follow and understand. This introductory course was immensely helpful in contributing to my understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript. All of which I most recently started to use in my current organization. It was an empowering and rewarding experience.
Loved Plus! It was great making a functional website that generates real time weather data using an API. Matthieu's instructional style is great, the staff on Slack are so helpful and patient. Really demystifies web design and gives you a way in without getting overwhelmed. Plus - it's so fun. Highly recommend!
I really enjoyed learning from Matt. He made the concepts easy and fun to learn. I love all the emojis everywhere too haha! π Each lesson was a good length, and the challenges were rewarding to figure out and complete. Every time I sat down to go through some lessons and challenges, I just kept going and going, getting through more than I thought I could in one sitting. I liked listening to SheCodes Radio while coding too. I think my brain really loved learning to code; I got to be creative and logical at the same time! I am a working full time and a mom of a 1 year old girl, but learning this basic course was so fun that I am always looking forward to do my homeworks and the activities. I didn't imagine that coding is fun and exciting.
SheCodes has blown all of my expectations out of the water! As someone who has never coded a day in her life, I found the lessons to be straightforward and easy to follow along. The challenges and homework really helped me to cement my knowledge and to build upon each new concept. Furthermore, the deadlines helped me to stay on track with my coding lessons by providing structure to my already busy life. It was a very comprehensive introductory course for beginners. Those who learn a little on their own can put what they have learnt into practice more accurately, and can easily learn what they could not understand on their own before.

This one is for the moms out there who are stay at home moms or currently do not have a job and are currently looking. I highly recommend SheCodes. Never stop learning. Always make time for YOURSELF. Coding is something your child will NEED help with during their school year and what better aid than their mother to teach them and guide them! I have been laid off for almost two years, never stopped working since I was 14 till now and I felt like I needed to do something. I wanted to challenge myself and I did. I find coding very interesting! I mean I created a webpage that is responsive in both computer and in a mobile device! Having a toddler and finding out I was pregnant along the way during this SheCodes journey was truly a struggle for me but I told myself I was not going to give up. There are no excuses especially when SheCodes has extensions you can use if something comes up and need more time to complete your projects! They even give you a career handbook with all the resources you need to prepare yourself for your new career!
I am greatful to SheCodes team and Matt Delac! I recommend SheCodes to anyone that wants to learn CSS, HTML & Javascript and start their journey as a frontend developer.

I like this course very much! Yes, -it was difficult for me; - some things i saw for the first time in my life; - sometimes one task took all day long BUT it all worth it. It is never late to study, i have two high educations already but i always wanted to start learning how to code. I am a person who has 0 experience in coding. I took a class in SQL/Python and spent months confused and embarrassed. I saw an ad for SheCodes on Instagram and was very intimidated, but determined to gain more skills. The resources are easily accessible and short enough to re-watch as many times as I needed to. I learned new things in every video, and even in the first free meeting. The community on Slack is attentive, responsive, and encouraging. I feel like the team here really wants everyone to grow. Each time I asked for help, I felt like the suggestions were kind and genuine. I never felt belittled. I seriously appreciate SheCodes and will take the rest of the courses. I am already recommending this to the women around me. Best money I have spent in a very long time.
