I loved it! I learned a lot than I did in my University coding classes.
Everything is really well explained. Everyone has been super helpful. The weather app project was a great challenge. I learned a lot.
This was an enjoyable experience! I didn't realize how much I had learned or how much I would understand at the end. This made starting the project a daunting task to me. Once I started my project, I realized I recognized a lot more code as I was putting together different elements and working through trail and error. It was fun to see that I was able to create so much and it's only been a few weeks!
The basics course has been so wonderful. I am filled with excitement to continue on to the next course! Matt's delivery was fantastic, I feel so confident and ready to start the next steps of this journey... Bring on SheCodes Plus!
Easy to follow classes, especially for someone not as tech-savvy as myself. :) The classes, challenges, and homework submissions are so streamlined. The slack community that they have created is pretty amazing as well!

I'm so grateful for this opportunity. Before SheCodes I've tried to navigate web development on my own, it wasn't at all easy and I very made little progress. My initial goal was to finish this workshop in a month, along the line I got stressed and frustrated. I took a lot of breaks, thankfully the workshop was very flexible, I was able to take my time to finally understand JAVASCRIPT. I'm very excited for the knowledge I've gathered and I'm looking forward to all the wonderful projects I'm going to create.

Coding has always seemed very daunting to me, but the SheCodes basics course was the perfect introduction to coding. While there is a lot of information to take in, it's explained in a way that doesn't feel overwhelming. Having challenges based on the information you learn from a lesson is a great way to apply what you've just learned & helps it make sense in the bigger picture of coding.

The 3 week SheCodes course was the perfect introduction to the coding world! I was able to complete the lessons at my own pace and Matt's explanations were easy to understand. Although I have a lot more to learn, I feel like this course was a great foundation of knowledge.

Initially, I was concerned about not being able to understand coding. So I had been postponing this learning milestone for a long time. When I started with SheCodes, I selected 3 weeks for the basics, and still, I thought I would need some extensions. The 10th day has passed, and I've already completed the last project. What is truly amazing is how SheCodes simplify the complex process of learning such a difficult skill. I am very proud to be a part of this group now. The SheCodes Basics course was only 3 weeks, but I cannot believe how much I learnt in that time. I love how Matt breaks everything down into bite-size chunks of information that are easy to digest. Loved playing with the code for our final assignment.

Very complete workshop on responsive design! It was challenging creating a multi-page website from scratch.
I started SheCodes Basic just over a week ago and was having so much fun learning that I completed the course way too fast! I had never coded before and now I just built myself a cute little website for my final project! I was amazed at how much information I had retained so quickly and how naturally I was able to make my ideas come to life! I would definitely recommend this course if you're curious about coding and want to try it out. I will definitely be purchasing on of the more advanced courses very soon! I started the SheCodes workshop after months of wanting to do so - programming had been a curiosity of mine for a while, and I finally got to try it thanks to this workshop. I can now finally say that it is no longer a curiosity, but an interest of mine! I will definitely continue improving my skills with these workshops.

SheCodes has been a wonderful experience. I've learned so much in such a short time and Matt has been a wonderful instructor throughout these courses. Great course to get started with react. I had absolutely no trouble getting into the framework with these well-organised videos and assignments. Overall, SheCodes is a perfect way to start coding if you have absolutely 0 knowledge and experience with it. I am very grateful for this opportunity and the new hobby that I discovered through them.
This has been a great introduction to the world of coding. The satisfaction from successfully completing each lesson 'challenge', the weekly homework, and the final project of creating a webpage from scratch that uses all the HTML, CSS, and Javascript components, has been rewarding.
This was a great workshop! I have learnt a lot in just 3 weeks, from knowing almost nothing to being able to create my own landing page. I really enjoyed the challenges after each lesson, and it made me feel like coding can be fun!

I can just recommend the course to everybody, who is thinking about starting with coding. This course was very very interesting for me. Everything was explained very clearly. I was afraid about English, because I am not native English speaker. But I didn't have any problem to understand everything. I managed it even though I am at home with my two-year-old daughter. It was incredibly stimulating when I tried opening my project on my phone and I saw that it was so well responsive... and that it was written by ME! Creating responsive websites is really no simple task, you need to pay attention to a lot of things. But it felt like a stimulating challenge, and I'm proud of what I created! Im so glad to have done the SheCodes basic workshop. I had no coding background prior to doing this workshop, and I was worried that I will have difficulty understanding the workshop. However, all the lessons are very detailed and easy to understand, and the course allows me to go at my own pace, which is very helpful to me. If I have any questions, I can easily ask it on slack and my queries will be answered in just a few hours. If you are a beginner to coding and you are interested in learning how to code, SheCodes is the perfect program.

SheCodes was one of the best decisions I've made in advancing my career. Although I've only completed the first course so far, I'm looking forward to learning more and hopefully getting a job as a junior developer. The instructions are extremely detailed and easy to understand, and the course allows you to go at your own pace, which was helpful for me, because, in addition to my full-time job, I'm in school working on my bachelor's degree too. If you're interested in learning how to code, SheCodes is the perfect program.
I'm not one to sit for hours and study, but this is different. You get a bunch of short videos and then homework about that video, what makes it so more fun to learn and better to absorb all that new information. I'm really glad I took this course and you should too!

It was an interesting 3 weeks of learning how to code basics!
Lessons were thorough and worked for my busy schedule! I was able to learn the basics of coding without needing to pay a lot of money and Matt goes at a pace that makes it easier to understand. Assignments were fun and this made me feel like coding can be enjoyable!
I loved SheCodes because I was able to complete the course at my own pace, but there were still deadlines so I couldn't ever let myself get too far behind. It was perfect for my busy schedule. The teacher was clear and the course materials were easy to understand. I am so glad I took this class. I feel prepared for my journey into data analytics and web development!

Another adventure with SheCodes and I am really glad with my evolution. After so many challenges seeing my portfolio done is very rewarding. I am ready for my last workshop and eagerly excited to start my career as a Front-end developer.
I've been looking at many options for learning coding but could never decide where or how to start. I began self learning through books but always felt so stuck and confused and began to give up. I really wanted to work on a career change though, and I soon came across SheCodes. I have learned so much more in just 3 weeks than I could through self learning. Not only was it so easy to follow and learn, I was able to complete everything on top of a full time exhausting job and continue to have free time in my personal life. I am excited to progress onto SheCodes Plus and potentially more in the future.
I have to say SheCodes Responsive was my favourite course so far. I enjoyed the Basics and Plus but I absolutely loved all the handy hints and tricks and hacks that we learnt in Responsive, and of course, how to produce Responsive webpages which is so important these days with all the different devices in use. Quite a few times I'd stop and think 'How cool is that!!' The tutorials to work through completing our own webpage were so helpful and really broke it down step by step. I'm so excited to continue on to React and to hopefully one day embark on a career in developing. Thank you Matt for a brilliant course!
