I could not help myself but sign up for the SheCodes Plus course after having done and loved the Basics course. This was a really fun way of learning how to code, everyday it was something different and it was great to see the end result! I'm still curious to keep learning and progressing. I absolutely loved building on the learnings from the SheCodes Basic and to dive deeper into HTML5 , CSS and especially Javascript and API. Matt continues to impress me with his great teaching skills! π¨βπ« One thing I really like about all the SheCodes Workshops so far is that we get to design the projects all by ourselves. I don't have to build exactly the same as everyone else, in the end everyone has a completely unique project result. I believe this is very different to a lot of other courses and proves to me, that it was a great decision to choose SheCodes! I am excited to see what comes next and where this path will take me!

As for the first week, it was really sophisticated and intensive for me, sometimes I thought that I was ready to give it up... But furhter all the things have changed. I was enjoing the second week, and I found JavaScript extremely interesting and powerful! And then, the third week was so soft and creative! I was having fun during my final project! The course was difficult, and some theoretical blocks were confusing. It was challenging to find the common logic since the names of div/span/ ids/classes in the given examples were constantly changing along with the HTML doc structure.

This was best coding course I took, and one of the best courses generally! The thing I liked the most is that there are real life examples, also it is done in a way that with each lesson there is challenge which you have to do by yourself. This way you can immediately check did you understood everything that has been said during lesson. It is just the right ratio between listening and practice. The structure of lessons is done in a way that you can learn lot of practical things and get general overview into coding, something that would take lot of time to figure it all on its own. Concept of deadline is also great idea, because you need to challenge and push yourself. Time is more than enough to finish everything so if you do it before deadline you feel proudπ.
It has been so much fun learning the basics of web development and it really made me want to challenge myself by learning more of it! Matt can explain things in a very clear way, and having the challenges and homework really helped keeping me accountable for it.
I am sincerely grateful to the whole SheCodes Plus team for support, motivation and instant feedback during the course. The course itself was full of interesting, challenging but so important topics with easy explanations. I totally liked it and amazed by the final results I`ve managed to have thanks to the lessons.

The classes are easy to follow. I love the fact that each lesson are short and straight to the point. I really appreciate the way Matt explained some things in lay mans term. Using everyday life scenarios to better explain the logic of the lesson.

Would recommend for someone looking to learn web development basics. Would be beneficial to have 6 weeks instead of 3 lets say, with more practice projects. Otherwise, really enjoyed the format of lessons and video instructions.

This was a fantastic beginner course. I have been stuck in a rotation of watching tutorials and starting on other self paced coding sites, but I am a person who needs more structure and this was perfect for me! What to say ? Again awesome content, great explanations and exercises . This workshop was the most challenging one so far but I loved it. I must admit, at times it was frustrating because you have to learn some advanced concepts, but once you get it you realize it is definitely worth it because with this approach your code is much clearer and more manageable. And it's even more fun to code now. I recommend it to everyone that has passed frontend development course as the next step :)

I worry a lot that I won't be able to turn this into a career. I worry that I am not able to learn the material, then I hop on and complete a lesson and watch what I am learning come to life in real time as I code. The best part of coding with SheCodes is that you can always ask questions in chat and be sure that you'll get an answer, which is really useful, especially when you're stuck with a task.
I just completed the SheCodes basic course through their scholarship and I loved every minute of it, even the hard parts. The lessons are detailed and make it easy for anyone to follow, even a complete beginner. The SheCodes team is available on Slack and they have an impressive response time.
