SheCodes Plus was a big challenge for me, I felt overwhelmed sometimes but was a perfect way to push me more and more to continue. The final project was super funny and beautiful at the end. Can't wait for the next step.
I used to take coding classes online while is a charter school. I took Java Programming and Python. They were also the only classes I had high grades in, so I'm glad that I am able to continue learning to code with SheCodes!

Lessons are explained in an easy way. Homework tasks are also very clear, but I find a little difficult to remember the code elements. Coding was very interesting and fun for me.

This workshop taught me a lot of new techniques and secrets of how to improve and optimize the code to build a multiple pages project.
Taking the workshop was really fun and I learned a lot. I'm glad that I decided to give it a chance because it doesn't need to be so complicated, to learn how to code. After completing the Basics workshop, I knew I needed to learn more in order to fully understand what it is to be a front end developer. Now that I have completed the Plus workshop and worked on a much more challenging project, I better understand some of the work that entails and I know it is what I am going to become! The more I learn the more I want to know and I am so glad to have come across this wonderful platform. I am definitely getting the sound foundation for which I was looking. The structure of this learning program is such that allows us to take in a little information at a time. Then build on that information week over week. I appreciate the final projects at the end that really showcase our newly developed skills. I cannot wait to begin the next workshop in the program and learn even more. Enjoyed the step by step instructional videos. Matt was very thorough in his teaching style and felt like I was able to grasp the projects. Also really appreciated the hands on work and if I ever had any questions the Slack channel was readily available. Would highly recommend.

I first became interested in coding during the pandemic but with hundreds of online coding bootcamps I was unsure where to start or which ones were legitimate. Luckily I found SheCodes and was sold after the free classπ I suggest it to all of my friends looking to make a career change.

I took the basic course and really loved it - the videos and units were adequate in length and complexity so that I was excited and motivated at all times. It really helped that there were as many little tasks so the new knowledge had to be applied directly. Thank you, Matt!
I really enjoyed the videos and the challenges, as they are short but full of good content, always giving new information and new things to learn. Sometimes it is frustrating when I don't understand why something is not working ... it takes a lot of trial and error to get to make things work... but when it does work, it seems like I'm making magic and it is a good feeling to know that I can create something from scratch using coding! This project was so hard. Sometimes I thought that coding is not my thing and I should quit the course. But as soon as I found and corrected a mistake, I got pleasure. I am satisfied with my work. Of course it's not ideal. But I have a lot of lessons learned behind me and much more new things to come.
I have learned a lot. the classes are in bite sized pieces so that you can take your time and digest. the concepts are new to me and SheCodes courses makes it all easier. At the end of the workshop I couldn't believe how much I had learnt. It seemed really bulky initially but with the instructors step by step approach, I was able to understand relatively fast.
I saw an advertisement for SheCodes just at a point in my career when I was wondering how much longer I would start conversations with "I am not super technical..". She SheCodes Basic program introduced me to all these scary techy topics at a great pace and in a fun way. My goal was to demystify coding and it has definitely done that!
SheCodes is one of the most affordable and effective bootcamps out there who is also willing to work with your financial situation. Truly helping the under represented community. Everything was at your own pace and I never felt rushed. For my final project I was so excited that I stayed up late to complete it!
