SheCodes Basics was a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The short videos and challenges allowed me to learn at my own pace and to repeat the classes whenever any questions arose. The community on Slack was also instrumental in clearing up questions whenever a Google search didn't help. The experience was so positive that I plan to do another workshop with SheCodes.
Im so happy learn coding with SheCodes, and now i can say that I have best teacher ever ^_^ Matt Delac explain all stuff very clearly so, for me its easy and understanding! Plus - when a teacher enthusiastically talks about what he loves, it motivates so much that I look forward to continuing our studies 🤩

Wow, learning React has been quite a journey! It was a bit difficult at the beginning to get into the mindset of "components", "states" and "loops", but once I started, I realized that I quite enjoyed being able to build this stuff! I've been able to build a weather app and a dictionary and use APIs for this, and I could never imagine doing this until some months ago. Really positively impressed and I can only recommend this course to everyone!
It's amazing! Only in 3 week I had to learn so much interesting about coding! For this stage all is clear and simple and it's not a rocket science! I strongly recommend this course for everyone who just want to be clear with the base things in coding you'll definitely feel more confident!

I really enjoyed sharing something I love (my town, Mitla!) in my final project. I'm surprised I could make something so polished after three weeks! Well, it's self-paced so more like two weeks for me.
I am enjoying every minute of the learning process. Coding is truly my passion.
The material is more than just easy to learn, it's also fun! Everything is presented in an engaging and no-pressure atmosphere. You can't help but feel proud of yourself when you finish a project or figure out a tricky spot.
I greatly enjoyed learning about how a web page is actually built from the ground up. The workshop was interesting, challenging and fun! The best part for me was the making my project where I was able to put my creativity at the forefront :)

I have been working as a Global IT support for 8 years, and taking this course made me realize that I still have many things to learn, things that I thought I already knew. I started learning coding through a game that teaches programming languages, and I loved the puzzle-solving aspect, which inspired me to delve deeper into coding. SheCodes has been the perfect platform for that journey! I enjoyed exploring HTML, CSS, and JavaScript during the SheCodes Basics workshop, and I'm eager to continue learning in the next workshop. Coding allows me to be creative and feel challenged, which I find incredibly rewarding. SheCodes has been an ideal learning experience, and Matt is an amazing teacher! For my project, I chose to create a page advocating for expanded shore access in Massachusetts, driven by frustrations over recent changes to local beach parking policies.

SheCodes has given me a great introduction to coding and I have fallen in love with it! As an individual that comes from a prominently healthcare background and working through the pandemic I realised I was no longer finding fulfilment in my work and decided to look into a career change. This introduction course was perfect and made learning so easy and enjoyable. After discovering the world of coding I realised the endless opportunities it has to offer. The instructor explains things in a way that really helps you understand what is going on. For a moment you are freaking out like, oh that sounds confusing but then he tells you to hold on, and uses some sort of metaphor to help explain it. I learned some things that I didn't quite understand before.

Basic Coding Workshop - Introduction to JavaScript, CSS and HTML
Thank you for another great workshop! The techniques I learned in SheCodes Responsive definitely improved my fluency with CSS and HTML and lent greater overall sophistication to my code. The workshop picks up where we left off with SheCodes Plus and builds cumulatively on prior teaching material with a well-organized curriculum that limits the number of videos per week but covers each topic on average at greater length than in prior workshops. With more people browsing on their phones these days and this trend likely to increase over time, the techniques of responsive development are essential skills for professional web developers to learn. I recommend this workshop if you want all the tools to start building multiple-page websites that will look good on nearly any device.
It was a fruitful learning journey by applying the coding concepts and techniques to solve problems when building the real-life project.

The course is great for the beginners: short videos (no more 15-hour long Youtube tutorials 😁), challenges are good. I am happy to see a result of my work at the end of each week
This was the toughest course of them all, and it feels validating to finish. I hope through this I have built my skills up, even though I know I have ways to go. Now I have two new projects to add to my portfolio and it's an accomplishment!

This course was super challenging, but it was really exciting and lots of fun! I love that this course allows its students to complete coursework according to their own availability each week, while also having weekly assignments and projects that help keep you accountable and on-track. It offers a great level of flexibility, but also provides structure at the same time which I really appreciate as a working professional. I also really enjoy being a part of the SheCodes community. With each course, you have the ability to interact with other students who are learning the same things as you and instructors who are there to help and answer questions along the way.
This is really a great course! I made my first pet project from scratch - a weather app (this can be included in the resume). It is very important to practice on a real project. In this course we create the application step by step. Step by step Matt explains even the most complex things in a very clear way. I have always been interested in technology, organization, and creativity. I am looking for a career change and I have been becoming more interested in coding. It is a very scary concept and I had no idea how to even start learning. I came across SheCodes and jumped right into the courses. Matt is a GREAT teacher! He is so easy to follow and I was able to complete the final project almost completely by myself!

I've learned a lot through the online course, especially with the challenges and homework. Javascript is definitely something I need to work on, but the video classes and slack channel helped teach me the foundation.

I had an awesome experience with SheCodes Plus! I did the Basic class first and loved it so much I had to go back for more. The Plus is definitely a step up! It's much harder, but the way Matt explains everything in the videos is great. The SheCodes team members were wonderful to work with and so helpful whenever I got stuck. It was great to have an online class with real people checking over my homework. It kept me accountable for my work! I highly recommend these workshops for anyone looking for a new skill in tech.

I highly recommend SheCodes for girls who want to switch jobs. The information was completely new to me but Matt could explain it easier for understanding.
