In my opinion, SheCodes Basics is an amazing start for your coding journey. I really enjoyed the process, it was pretty easy but interesting and challenging at the same time! One of the things I liked the most is the UI/UX of SheCodes, as it shows a real example of good design and motivates you to continue coding.
I believe this was overall a great introductory course. I would have liked for the videos to have spent more time explaining some of the more advanced concepts in JavaScript that were not as intuitive as html or css to logically understand, but that's alright. The cheat sheets were helpful to get through the course timely without needing to spend hours trying to make sense of it as a beginner.

Three weeks of training flew by in one breath! I am very glad that I had the opportunity to join the project. Not everything was easy, but Slack is always there. When I study and complete tasks - I am in another world, and the time spent in this world is the enjoyment of the process of "creation". And of course, special thanks for the opportunity to listen to music during the process of completing tasks on the radio.
This workshop is where javascript CLICKED for me after trying to self teach for a while. So thankful to SheCodes for providing a comprehensive digestible way to learn.
The workshop was challenging but at the same time engaging. Learnt a lot of useful tricks and tools on how to make responsive websites and integrate SEO.

I have learned a ton of coding taking SheCodes Plus workshop. The main focus in this workshop was Javascript and not gonna lie, it was difficult to understand at first but once you get the hang of it, it can be fun watching it come to life. I really liked the workshop. It is very comfy when you can study at a time convenient for you, and the presentation of information is also very good - the video lessons are short, but very informative, everything is clearly and neatly, without unnecessary information.

At the first time I was a bit skeptical about the bootcamp, since I'd been less motivated after several online coding courses and still it was quite difficult to build an actual website on my own. However, unlike other online-bootcamp courses or coding workshops, various challanges and projects of shecodes motivated me a lot and even let me finish the basic course within one week! Can't wait to start the new one :)

This one was definitely a challenge. It goes more in-depth than the introductory course so it took me longer than I thought. I kept working on my project little by little, kept rewatching the old videos when needed and kept coding. So in my own tempo, I've graduated and now feeling confident and curious to play with my code, to learn more. And I've also found new friends through SheCodes community. What a success!
For me the "SheCodes React" course is a lot of useful and interesting presented information for mastering a new profession. SheCodes provides an opportunity to change your life and become a part of large projects.

Yes, learning to code can be hard at times. You are learning a NEW LANGUAGE :) Thankfully Matt shows you step by step what to do and what NOT to do. Between the Slack student help channel and being able to rewatch videos as much as needed you can and WILL eventually figure it out and it will make sense. Take a break but do NOT give up! :)

I've been curious about learning how to code for a long time and finally decided to take the plunge with SheCodes. I've gone from really not understanding anything about basic coding to being able to implement effective tools when building websites / maintaining my own. I started my coding journey just 2 months ago and I can't believe I made it through all 4 courses. Finishing has a lot do to with the system SheCodes provides, like the fast and helpful responses from the team, the challenges, the homework with deadlines, the projects and a very enthusiastic Matt. Most of the time it felt like bob sliding, high speed through the curves, gravity pulling you from left to right and back again. Reaching the finish line and looking back, I just realize how much I learned during the past two month. It felt so good to be challenged and grow. I feel motivated to build my own apps now and very grateful to SheCodes.
I`ve just finished Basic Coding class, and I want to say: it`s amazing! I was afraid that it could be too difficult for me, I don`t understand anything or even it would be boring. But Matt is very talented teacher, the whole information was given to us in very interesting way, it was like a game for me, not boring classes! The instruction was clear and easy to understand. I'm glad I can program my website by myself. :)
It was a good introductory course, breaking the content down into the important elements of programming. However, there can be a lot of elements in HTML, CSS and Javascript. It still requires a fair amount of self-study in order to explore the different elements available, capabilities, rules, limitations, and dependencies. Although, this can be fairly reflective of programming itself. There is so much to know that you cannot teach all of it and you'll learn it as you do it.
Was a great starting step to coding. Videos and slack help were very helpful and informative. Looking forward to learning more.
