I jumped into the SheCodes workshops with no prior coding or tech experience. I'm hoping to make a career transition upon building my coding literacy.
I have now taken 3 courses from SheCodes (Basics, Plus and Responsive) and each round of curriculum flows naturally into the next. My skills from Basics helped me feel confident in Plus and that curriculum helped me when I got to Responsive. When I was first taking my Basics course, I couldn't wait to reach that point in my education where I felt really confident about my web-development skills. I feel like I am at that point now, which makes me very excited to start the React material. I have nothing but words of praise for the SheCodes team and Matt. The material in each lesson is very thorough and detailed. I think one of the most valuable characteristics of these courses is that you get to watch Matt code and literally watch his train of thought go through the lines of code as he goes. He voices when he makes a mistake and shows you how to fix it. I have all the appreciation in the world for this organization.

It was the most exciting 3 weeks! My boyfriend was impressed with the speed with which I learned to write code. (He has been working in programming for 2 years). It's cool that at any time you can make a delay and at a calm pace go through tasks before the deadline.
I really enjoyed this workshop. I learned how to code for the first time, and I love how SheCodes made it look and feel so easy. Matt did a very good job at building confidence through his lessons; all very concise, simple and encouraging. I am really happy with this experience, and I am looking forward to learn more with SheCodes workshops.

I have a graphic design background and I've been wanting to add on to what I already know, so I figured coding would be a great next step! I found SheCodes and its been absolutely amazing! I love that it's affordable compared to most coding workshops and you have this amazing community of support from other women going through the same process.

Thank you so much for a job you are doing! Prior to joining your courses "coding" was equal to "Chinese" for me. Of course in order to become skilled coder or programmer I should practice a lot, but after first three weeks I'm pretty sure that impossible is nothing and it's never to late to start learning something new. Special thanks for providing this opportunity for Ukrainian women during this hard time.
I am so grateful this workshop is very flexible. I was able to get an extension to finish completing my project. My son was sick for 3 weeks and I have a 3 months year old that was congested. I do recommend this workshop especially if you are very busy.
It was great 3 weeks of my life. SheCodes it's my own new start of my life. The material was told in an accessible and understandable way, there was enough time for preparation and even for creativity. Highly recommend
I really appreciate being given a chance to study coding with SheCodes team! I consider the course named SheCodes Basics extermely benefitial due to an absolutely exraordinary approach to teaching and presenting the material. Matt Delac managed to twist playfully such complicated things as HTML, CSS and JS in one short course, which saves my time dearly, makes me search for extra information, and helps to start thinking as a Front-end developer.

I would recommend this course - Matt walks you through everything step by step, you can re-watch a lecture as often as you want, you get an opportunity to practice everything you learn, and you complete the course with a project you complete and design on your own!
This basic course is 100% effective. Matt explained the basics step by step, first HTML then CSS and JS. I have already known about the coding languages, but these explanations helped understand the logic of coding process. I am grateful for this chance to learn to code with the talented Matt and SheCodes team!

The course offers a variety of challenging yet fun lessons and exercises which are building up on each other in a very logical order. I feel like having learned a lot and am looking forward to put it further into practice in the future.

Thank you Shecodes for this unique opportunity. The journey was not easy. I asked for extension twice but I'm happy to finish the project and to know that I can learn coding. Coding is a new world I am discovering and I wish to gradually become more sound in it. I like the part that coding encourages both analytical, constructive and creative thinking.
This course was full of information and I learned a lot. Before taking this course, I didn't a thing about coding. I would recommend this course to anyone trying to break into the tech field.

This workshop was tricky, but I would highly recommend it. I'm only 13, so if I can do it, you can too. I've learned a great deal in a very brief time span. The shecodes staff was very helpful, and Matt is a great teacher.
I'm glad that I had a chance to be a part of this project.Everyone can find it not so difficult with such organization. Information is given easy for understanding.If you can't do smth, managers help you quickly. So I fully recommend it!

I can't believe I already finished my shecodes training! I learned a lot and I had a lot of fun coding and doing the different projects. I loved the practical aspect of the training, it's very well explained and very complete. I can't wait to continue my coding adventure thanks to shecodes :)
I must admit that it was much harder and much more challenging compared to SheCodes Basics, but, at the same time, I see myself improving and having a better understanding of coding overall. There is one thing I wanted to have through the course is a more detailed explanation, especially about Java Script such as functions since I am not super comfortable yet and also I sometimes get confused with certain things regarding JS, so if there were any video clip explaining more specific parts, I might have been more confident and comfortable to code by myself. I googled and checked YouTube videos about JS, and I feel I am getting more familiar with those, but still, I would appreciate it if we could access all minor details in SheCodes to keep things more consistent and for us to stay focused on one platform. At last, I genuinely appreciate that Matthieu and all the staff are always supportive and kind. Looking forward to SheCodes improving its performance much more than what it is now and more many people enjoying coding as I am right now😘 Thank you so much all💓

SheCodes was such a fun, amazing experience. I've wanted to learn more about coding for a while now, so when I saw an ad about SheCodes I decided to give it a try. I love that it's a platform solely for woman to learn a skill in a world that's primarily male-dominated, so that women can feel comfortable learning how to code with the support of other females learning alongside them. The lessons are broken down into easy to understand segments and the fact that you can go at your own pace is awesome. It was so fun to be able to put all of my knowledge from the course together at the end to make my own web site.

Great course for absolute beginners!
Shecodes is my favourite way to learn coding. Matt has such a great human approach so things that are difficult for me to understand with a learning disability are now possible to make sense. It really has helped my confidence.

This workshop was challenging , but in a great way. As I submitted my final project I was reflecting on all the hard work and hours of time I spent on it. It is a more challenging workshop, progressing from Basics to Plus. Overall, great experience getting to learn further and how to improve coding. The challenges and homework in every lessons have given me the opportunity to learn and analyse more. Good progression of learning for me with the lessons that are broken into smaller sections which provide me a medium that is easy to understand and follow.

It was very useful and interesting course, information is presented in a very detailed and simple way, and this in cool. In some lessons the details under the video included what was covered in the next lesson, but I only realized this when I started the next lesson after studying these details on my own. SheCodes is different from other options I’ve tried because of the community behind it, also Matt is a great teacher. I learned a lot of things through the SheCodes and I am able to design web application as it really boosted my interest towards front-end development. Slack is really efficient to discuss and solve your doubts with others.The SheCodes team instantly helps to solve doubts which is extremely helpful feature for problem solving and coding.Looking Forward to learn and explore with SheCodes. This course I, like most Ukrainians, joined in times I was forced to pack up an emergency suitcase because of the war to start everything from the scratch away from home. This suitcase could not contain what I really wanted to keep in — loved ones, important words, and my own resilience. Amount of new knowledge, structured approach, challenging tasks and support from SheCodes team and other students made my progress not only in coding but what is more important in my ability to learn new things and get back my inner strength. I became interested in coding because of ... TikTok! While exploring new income opportunities, I became interested in coding and figured that I would give SheCodes a try. After these 3 weeks of the "Introduction to Coding" workshop, I am excited to see where this journey will take me!
I'm glad I decided to try it, it's an incredible experience and emotion. Coding is so much easier and more interesting than I thought! The study material is interesting, the complexity grows gradually, and when you make the final project and look at it you think "Wow, did I really do it? I already know so much! It's incredible!
