The SheCodes React course teaches invaluable skills. Responsive design is yet another skill employers are looking for, and the process of building a portfolio website was great.
I definitely experienced some high moments and low moments during the weeks of SheCodes Plus. I had to take a couple extensions, but I can now say that I’m super proud of myself for sticking with it and completing the project! I really enjoyed the foundations of integrating an API using JavaScript, and am very interested in learning more Bootstrap. Overall, I feel like SheCodes did a great job making these skills accessible by breaking them down into smaller parts.
As a tech writer who authors microsites, I love the experience of making my own website dedicated to my professional development and career ambitions. SheCodes provides comprehensive instructional materials and support to help women flourish in the development field. Looking forward to exploring the SheCodes React course next!
Shecodes was a gamechanger for learning to code. I have tried a handful of coding resources, but I couldn't stay motivated or interested in the material. When I signed up for Shecodes basics, I was hooked. Matt explained the material very well, but also taught you to use other resources to help you along the way! I'm farther in my journey of web development now thanks to Shecodes. I look forward to my next workshop with them!

It wasn't easy for me at first as I was just knowing about computer programming language recently. Very useful course! It is really for beginners, with balanced combination of theory and practice. The information is presented very clearly and correctly. You get the foundation, but there's a space for creativity. You get a strong basis and you are motivated to look for additional information. I admire and look forward to the next course!

SheCodes Basic is a fantastic workshop which teaches you everything you need to know to start on a new adventure in coding.
Before starting the course I was worried about coding being too difficult for me. But the workshop ended up being so fun, I've genuinely enjoyed creating pages and making the elements work! The lessons were very easy to understand and if I encountered the issues which I could not deal with by myself, they were effortlessly resolved by checking the workshop chat on slack. I'm grateful I've had the opportunity to begin my coding journey on Shecodes, I can't wait to create more pages and learn more about coding in general😊

I had a great experience. The solutions after challenges really helped me understand and I love the concept behind the company. It's amazing to see women from all around the world in the slack channel and all our work in one place. I learned html and css during design school (its been awhile) but this was my first time learning javascript. Overall I feel like the basics workshop was well worth the money. Give it a try!
SheCodes Responsive has been my favorite course to date! I loved being able to create my own unique portfolio, showcasing all of the knowledge and skills I have acquired thus far. SheCodes is a good introductory workshop for beginners. Matt is a great instructor who explains every step in detail making the work easy to follow along. The workshop also provides plenty of resources and a friendly community ready to help you.
This course built on what I learned in the basics workshop and allowed me to understand more of javascript and how to host a website. I look forward to the next two workshops, Responsive and React, so that I can further my front end development knowledge.

SheCodes has really helped break everything down into logical, chewable mouthfuls and has made the entire process incredibly fun! Coding seemed like a big overwhelming monster before SheCodes. I had no idea where to start so I just kept putting it off. This workshop was so clear and the small steps made it feel approachable and at times even easy, and when I did struggle help was readily available. I'm excited to see how these new skills can contribute to building my career!

This course was amazing! I would highly recommend it. I loved how we used real-world tools and had challenges throughout. Throughout the course, I was building on the skills from week 1 which gave me the confidence to play around with my final project.
Coding is actually the last thing I thought could bring me so much fun. Now I confidently learn to apply knowledge in practice. When I was a kid, I liked doing puzzles or building blocks, so now I associate coding with those things. That's why it brings me so much pleasure💙

It has been an interesting, fun, and challenging journey of coding. I learned that coding with a free mind is the key. I took a bunch of breaks during coding. Taking a break gives an opportunity to think about what you can change or improve.

I still can't believe the amount of progress I had in just three weeks. The workshops were really easy to understand, they were short and very helpful at the same time, the projects weren't too easy or too difficult to handle and, in the end, all I can say is that I love SheCodes and I'm very thankful for this opportunity that they gave me.
Some of the courses were a little tricky, but having the right support and resources definitely helped a lot!

Whew! This is the most rewarding, exciting, and difficult workshop yet! I loved the React projects (one weather and one dictionary), building another weather project but in a different way really shows you that there are a lot more ways you can code to build a project. The dictionary project was definitely the hardest but I'm a perfectionist at heart and this was a great experience to see it all come together. These weeks of lessons, challenges, and projects has me going out on my own and making more than just the given projects and I'm dreaming of code and other ways to make it work! Thank you so much Matt Delac for this platform/workshops and thank you the to team for helping me out so much! You all rock!!
SheCodes Responsive gave me the confidence I needed to really see that I CAN DO this. I loved the final project. Being able to showcase our work on a website we built is an amazing feeling. It wouldn't have been as awesome unless there was some challenges along the way! Thanks to the SheCodes Team and Matt for guiding me on my journey to becoming a front-end developer.
