I am currently a college student who is a Marketing major. I am someone who loves tech and fashion and want to find a way to combine the two. I have always been someone who liked the creative fields and also am someone who loves a challenge and I feel coding provides that. I am excited to pursue this.

Just completed my SheCodes Responsive. It was indeed very challenging and I love how it made me to find the solutions and get the codes work. With the daily challenges, weekly homework, and projects I practiced more on what I have learned and strive myself to provide a creative and responsive project. My second step into coding was more challenging . Each lesson was a real test. At each stage, I was loosing confidence buuut the result inspired me. And now, I'm more interested in learning and believe in success then it was at the beginning of my journey. These courses are amazing because they make me feel satisfied with what I do/

Honestly I had no idea how to code prior to SheCodes academy. It was like a really complex foreign language (I'm talking about you, Deutsch), but turns out I can make a website of my own and a nice looking one. The lessons are no longer than 20 minutes, so you won't get tired, and you can either watch the lesson and then get to coding or you can practice step by step with Matt. Super convenient 👌 Thank you so much, Matt and SheCodes team!

I learned a lot doing the responsive portion. It comes with a lot of frustration but it is completely worth it.

Loved the journey, bit hard at times but Matt did a great job explaining and the challenges+homework has helped to solidify your learning. SheCodes Plus was amazing! It wasn't easy at all. There was moments when I felt that I was completely confused and did not understand anything. But I was able to figure everything out thanks to the competent presentation of information in video tutorials and the help of the SheCodes team. Wat seemed intimidating at the beginning of the course turned out to be clear at the end.

This eight-week workshop was definitely challenging but allowed me to stay on a schedule to build upon what I learned in the first three-week workshop. I really enjoyed learning from Mat's lessons because he made quite advanced concepts in HTML, CSS, & JS understandable. His step-by-step approach makes code that would otherwise be daunting surmountable. To be able to create a fully functional app that utilizes real data in real-time truly gives me a sense of accomplishment in learning coding. I really feel that I have made a massive amount of progress in such a short time.
I've learnt a lot while making my own site. It was fun learning responsive grids, making my website responsive and SEO-friendly. Thanks a lot!

SheCodes Plus was much challenging as compared to SheCodes Basic. Even then, the advantage of SheCodes courses is that we can re-watch the videos, and we are able to get great help from the SheCodes Team on the Slack channel, who answer our questions ever so patiently and promptly. It is also great that Matt will explain the rationale behind certain concepts and some good practices, rather than just step-by-step theory. It is a sense of achievement and joy when we see the codes work properly! Lastly, it is inspiring and fun to browse the projects of other students! Thank you SheCodes Team!

SheCodes has been super interesting and fun! Every lesson is very well taught and the challenges afterwards make sure you can remember and apply what you have learned. When I go to websites now, I always want to figure out how they are coded and there are even times when I think I could do that myself after only 3 weeks! I can't wait to learn more!

Every dream needs the smallest beginnings, and I started by getting accepted to a prestigious university in my country and I am still taking small and continuous steps. SheCodes is one of these steps! You can start arranging the showcase of actions and skills from such facilities. SheCodes courses are very smooth and clear to express the points that are important and basic, and you will spend very little time studying. This is a very positive point because you can quickly enter the coding environment and challenge yourself. Do not underestimate these courses and make the most of them.

I enjoyed taking this workshop. Matt explains everything in much detail and he is easy to follow. I was able to work at my own pace and received much help from classmates and SheCodes staff through Slack. All reference material was accessible at the press of a button if I ever found myself stuck in any particular section of my projects. This workshop was easy to follow, easy to complete, fun, informative, innovative, and encouraging.
I enjoyed having the opportunity to build a new skill in a hobby I've been interested in for a while. I was able to be technical and creative all while problem-solving. It was nice having a flexible schedule to work around my daily life while building a tangible portfolio and downloading software I can look back on and use to foster those new skills. I can't wait to learn more!

I loved my learning experience with SheCodes! Matt is a great instructor, you can tell he has led the course already by the way he explains areas where students typically have questions or get hung up, which I really appreciated. He was able to anticipate confusion which shows that Matt and the team are in touch with students and where common struggles are happening. The Slack channel came in handy when I needed to see other people's work to compare to my own when I was getting stuck. I love how organized the content was and how thorough each lesson was given. I hope SheCodes continues to create new courses and offer additional learning opportunities as the industry evolves!

Responsive Workshop was a little bit hard for me but I did it and I am so happy! This part of the four courses help me bring together all the knowleges I've got in the previous 2 Workshops. I'm exited to have my first serious multi-pages website, it's so cool 😎
A friend of a friend did SheCodes and she really liked it, so I decided to give it a try. It's pretty straightforward and easy to follow, enough that you don't really need to utilize the support team. That said, if you're thinking of trying SheCodes for the first time, I recommend taking a more advanced course. In the Basics workshop final project, I kept researching how to do certain things I wanted, and it only made me feel that I had so much more to learn.
This is the second time I've tried coding! This time round it's all made much more sense and I've had much more success as a result. I've really enjoyed learning and expanding my knowledge and found the tutorials really clear and easy to understand! Loved having weekly homework to keep me motivated throughout the whole course.
I am a positive person with a good sense of humor. Which is always thirsty for knowledge
SheCodes is an amazing project and I am really greatful I had an opportunity to join it. There is a little bit of everything for everyone - it keeps you motivated, boosts your creativity, and get you help whenever you need it.
I loved everything about SheCodes! From the format of the courses to the fun projects and challenges. I would highly recommend this to coding beginners and anyone who would like to understand what websites and apps are made of and brush up or advance basic coding skills. I will definitely be looking into the advanced options. :)
