The workshop was great, but I wish we got to learn more. The third week wasn't anything new - just a quick summary of what we learned in weeks one and two. I feel like that time could have been used better. Otherwise, the workshop was fun and Matt is a good teacher.
Wow! SheCodes Basics was a fantastic workshop. I would recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to start coding. I had no previous experience in coding when I started. SheCodes makes everything clear and easy to follow. Although I took a little longer to complete the workshop, I love how flexible it is. You can always go at your own pace. Initially my concern was not being able to keep up with the pace of the class and the deadlines due to my lack of knowledge, however each lesson is incredibly user friendly and I was able to revert back to the recordings when necessary which was a huge help.

Really easy to follow along and great lessons to understand the basics of coding. Weekly homework assignments also helped dive deeper into course content.
I have always wanted to start learning how to code. I have indeed started...several times I've tried, but for some reason it was always difficult to finish the courses. I was never motivated for it. With SheCodes I feel motivated: the courses are really well structured and the content really well explained. Now that I finished the first one, I can't wait to start the next one!

I loved the workshop from day one! I couldn't stop talking about it and recommending it to my friends. The lessons are clear and easy to follow, and the challenges are very stimulating. I highly recommend taking this course. It's interesting, challenging, and fun! I've enjoyed studying at SheCodes Plus. What I like the most is that in contrast to other IT schools, the challenges in SheCodes are made to show your progress and the results of your hard work! So it's not boring at all. You listen to a lesson, complete a challenge, and see what you've done. This motivated me to continue to study more.

I believe that it is an amazing experience to attend SheCodes classes. Moreover, it is so practical for those with a high tendency to learn web codes. I'm extremely satisfied to attend and learn to code professionally. I'm afraid of web coding because in my mind it is so severe and a little of people can learn these skills. It was a very challenge and exciting way of starting into the world of coding. I've learned a lot in those 3 weeks and having the community's support is one of the best incentive to keep going even when we are stuck in something. I work better with dealines, I've done online courses where we have no support or deadline where I couldn't learn that fast as with SheCodes. I am looking forward to the next step!

I really like this course!!! The lesson is not overloaded with material. There is a small practical task in almost every lesson that motivates you to move on.
It was exciting and challenging! Responsive web-sites and apps - the important part of SheCodes Coding workshop, because we all use mobile devices and mob apps in every day life, probably even more often than their bowser version. SheCodes Plus was more enjoyable than SheCodes Basic. You feel accomplished after finishing all the workshops! Matt's videos are easy to follow for beginners.
I've always wanted to learn more about coding but, wrongly, I thought it was closely linked to math and that was enough to scare me off. I've attended to a workshop months ago held by my my employer, where there was this girl talking about how exciting the life of a Front End developer is and that she learned it from scratch, highlighting that no math's involved in the process. I then came across SheCodes and a huge THANK YOU is due. Matt is a great instructor, thanks for your effort and your revolutionary project and thank you for letting me aware that is never too late! Coding is fun, is a creative process and even when you get stuck, is worth the struggle :)

For me, this was the hardest workshop out of the four - React is a really cool program but it takes a lot of focus and work to understand and be able to work with it. At times it can be frustrating, but when you resolve and issue it is then even more rewarding. I really enjoyed the course and would highly recommend it!

I work in publishing and because I love languages, I've always been curious about coding but never really found the right moment to learn. I decided to do the SheCodes Basic course while on maternity leave and really enjoyed the flexibility and the way each section of the course is divided into short, easily digestible chunks. I found coding to be unexpectedly creative and would definitely consider it if I decided to change my career in the future.

I really like how the courses are built. They are truly bite sized, easy-to-follow and from topic-to-topic it gives you the sense of achievement that keeps you going even if you have to re-watch the actual topic a few times to feel totally confident about it. I also really like that anytime we got stuck we get the needed support on Slack in a timely manner.

I thought the course was very compact and gave you enough info to decide if this is something you want to keep pursuing. First, SheCodes pulled me in with a free introductory class, the breadth of leaders who fill this community kept me engaged, and the user-friendly interface kept me going to complete my first coding workshop!! I am beginning my 2-year graduate program in foreign policy and was seeking a pathway toward a creative and flexible side hustle. This was definitely it! I am so glad I found SheCodes; on to bigger and better things with all that I've learned!
It was definitely a brain tester but overall it was an amazing experience. It took me a bit longer than usual but I am glad to have taken my time and to have the help of SheCodes and other students help me along the way. This was a fun and exciting journey and I cannot wait to join the next classes SheCodes has to offer. With the new experience I hope to come back and put more into my weather app as this is just the beginning. So during a short break from my graduate program this summer (I'm in a clinical mental health counseling program) I decided to take this workshop because it's been something that's always intrigued me. I am so glad I did! And seriously considering changing careers after I graduate. That being said, I will be moving forward with the second and third level workshops as well. I am thrilled I took this opportunity with SheCodes and I'm very excited to continue my journey with them for a while longer! 😄

This course really opened my mind that everybody can try something new and if you will try hard and you like it, you will finally succeed. There are lots of things ahead to learn, but I can see the list of them now and at least I can create a plan☺.
Exciting and practical experience! To see a multi-page website that you can build by yourself - is an awesome feeling! From workshop to workshop you can see the growth of your own knowledge and skills, but at the same time, you understand how much you do not know and what a long way is in front of you.
